Maybe???...

Heb. 1:8 --God the Father called the Son God.
John. 1:1 --Jesus (the Word) is called God.
1 Tim. 3:16 --Paul said Jesus was God manifested in the flesh.
Titus 2:13 --Paul called Jesus The Great God.

MT 22:32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

John 8:57   Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
58   Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
59   Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Here Jesus claims to be the "I AM" ,that is why yhe Jews took up stones to stone Him it cross refrences to

Exodus 3
14And God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM and WHAT I AM, and I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you!

Mat 28:19  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

1Ti 3:16  And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

1Pe 1:2  Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

There are a whole number of verses that taken together as a group would signify this, but I'll leave that for someone else.

1 John 5:7.  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

The Bible does not mention a trinity as such. Trinity is an applied word of man to signify the Father God, the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, as one.

It does mention three that bear record in heaven.

It also mentions three that bare witness in earth

1 John 5:8.  And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

This one is excellent! Thanks, I had forgotten.

Quote
1 John 5:7.  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

This one I had remembered in "essence" but couldn't remember the wording or where it was....If I had I'd have found the first one!

Quote
1 John 5:8.  And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Good job.

Genesis 1:2.  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit, one, of God,two, moved upon the face of the waters.
 3.  And God said,,three,........

Here as in 1 John 5:7 is revealed the three in one. God, the Spirit of God, and the word.

Gen 18:1-2
18:1 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;

2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,

Oh, that's easy, Teach'.   Smiley

You don't need scripture to "prove" it:

How is it that your dad is a father(which he was), and a son(which he was), and a husband(which he was)--all three at the same time, each with "its" own distinct attributes??
