I would like to let you know what is going on my life right now. As of now, I am completeing my Junior year at Bearden High School. I have joined the Sr. High Youth group at Fellowship Church. The Father has been showing me His wonderful truths and love for me. The biggest truth that has been revealed to me is that the Lord is not just a harsh disciplinarian but has a deep love and passion for me. This summer I have the opportunity to share what God is doing in me in Vietnam.
That's right- Vietnam! I am a part of a team that will be traveling to Vietnam to do humanitarian work and influence the natives by serving them. Some of the humanitarian projects we will conduct will be involved with light construction, repairing, and painting. Our purpose is to encourage relationships between American youth and Vietnamese youth by working together, playing together, worshiping together, and the like. We will also be spending time with the street children and be ministering to them. Our stay in Vietnam will be around 2 weeks.
I am totally pumped about being a part of what God is doing in the lives of these Vietnamese. In order to go, to I will be going through a training program. In addition, I need to develop a prayer and financial support team. That is where you can be involved in this journey with me. This team would be made up of people to either pray regularly for the ministry, provide financially for the cost of the project, or a combination of the two. I need to raise $1,200. In order to meet my goal, I am looking for one-time investments of $10, $15, $20, $25, $50, $100, $200 or more. I would like for you to pray and ask God if He would have you be part of my team.
We are leaving in July, so if you feel the Lord leading you to share in this ministry, you can make checks payable to Fellowship Church and enclose a note designating my name and Vietnam Mission Trip. Also if you feel it in your heart to donate.
