so you want to become a Jew? Ok, as your friends father to
explain the 613 laws you wish to subject yourself to.

oh yea when you learn that cool language translate this:

baruch haShem ha machiach Yeshua, baruch haShem adonai.

Hebrew is a very beautiful language. both to hear, and  in the
way that there are different conotations in the words used,
according to their context.

the above sentence means:
blessed be the name of the Messiah Jesus, blessed be the
name of the Lord.

I would advise you not to mention the name of Jesus, and  the
word messiah in the same sentence to your friend's father
if I were you though.

respectfully yours in Yeshua

John 3:17 for he came not into the world to condemn the world, but that the world thru him might be saved! Rom 8:1 there is therefore no con-
demnation to those who are in
christ Jesus...

Having been to Jewish assemblies at liberal and conservative
synagogues and having been to Baptist assemblies. I have found that the Jewish gatherings are very much like the Baptists except they omit the messiah as having come in the flesh, Jesus THE Christ,THE Son of God.

What is it about the Jewish gatherings that seem more meaningful to you than the "meaningless stuff at your Mom's boring old church"? Like I said I found them to be very much like the Baptists only without a savior to remove their sins and give them the gift of salvation and eternal life.
