30-days at ChristiansUnite – The observations of a ‘newbie’.

OK – I’ve been here almost every day for a month, and I feel blessed to have found C-Unite.  I haven’t interacted with all of you, for those of you who I have interacted with:

Blackeyedpeas:   Hope & strength.  (Thank you Mr. BEP.)
Reba:   I only need a 4-word vocabulary:  “yes”, “no”, “buzz”, and “off”.  Reba is the ex-wife I will never have.   Grin
Michael_Legna:   Take the old adage “A bad day fishing beats a good day working” and replace ‘fishing’ with ‘arguing’.  (ML keeps his catch and freezes what he can’t eat.)
Petro:   Ditto the ‘fishing’ adage.  (Petro practices catch and release.)
Lance:   How to read with a British accent.
ravenloche:   How to read with a Hebrew accent?
2nd Timothy:   ‘Multi-tasking’ – smiling and waving at the same time.
Ollie:   There are some things I just can’t argue with.  (In fact – there are a LOT of things I just can’t argue with!)
Tibby:   I was young once, too.
Sower:   You’ve heard say “It’s Greek to me.”  Well, Sower will translate it for you.
Psalmistsinger:   A storybook mom.
Willowbirch:   That would be exactly like elmoak, or ashmaple – only different.   Smiley
Forrest:   Rents a room to Willowbirch???
Whitehorse:   It was only a joke, Whitehorse – only a joke.  Wink
Allinall:   Before I take a sip of coffee, Make darn sure nothing is swimming in it.
Symphony:   Much, much “deeper” than hip-hop.
Crusader:   How ironic; a ‘crusader’ was a Catholic soldier.   Lips Sealed
Ambassador4Christ:   In his former life he designed neon signs in Vegas.  For some reason I don’t think A4C is never NOT smiling…  Cheesy  Cheesy
Psalm 119:   “Don’t Tread on Me”, “Live Free or Die” and “Just because I’m paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t after me!” (and various other ‘slogans’).
Tog_Neve:   King of the 5-part reply post; his masters’ thesis was at least 1,000 pages (and very well researched).
Jabez:   The family of Judah - 2 good verses hidden among 38 verses of “begots”.
Brandie: New but old but new – a fresh viewpoint.

Thank you all for putting up with me – may Jesus keep you, each and every one.

Hmm. I'm not on that list. Which means you don't like me. It's ok, though, because if you have to create a thread like this, I probably don't like you either.

Sapphire,

You are far too young to be mad at the whole world, especially your brothers and sisters in Christ.

I remember how hard it is to be 15 years old. Just remember that we are your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Yeha, the 12-15 time was rough. "I'm just a Kid" by Simple Plan did a great job of capturing the pain of this age in the lyrics. Such a painful age. Before you can drive, just entering your true Teen years. Starts at 12, you are not a true teenager yet, but you are surely not a kid. And that just keep going for the next few years. The good part is, it is a small step in making you the person you are. If you don't dovelp a "lone wolf" complex, that is.

"Oh, all my friend are hanging out at the club, and I'm not. No big deal, I don't really like them anyways"

Ah, good times, good times. Smiley

Tibby, do you set out to be deliberately insulting?  Roll Eyes
And with all your wordly wisdom at what age? Oh yeah, 19.  Roll Eyes

I will point out my friend that the prerequisite to being on his list was interaction...but to make things better for you, I made a "Reasons We Like Saph" thread!  I posted!  I like ya!  Course my discernments always been lacking... Grin I'm kidding!!  Take BEP's chill pill.  They're very helpful!   Cheesy

sincereheart, What is the matter with it? Do you set out to deliberately be a complete jurk? I was reminiscing the hard times I had at that age. It doesn’t take a genius to agree with Tom, and add on to what he said by talking about your own experience, just a few short years ago. Honestly, what is your problem, sincereheart? I didn't think someone would get offended by a simple post, but I am truly sorry that I did.

^Willow, Take note, that is what I'm talking about^
