Joh 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

I strongly believe that these were some of the strongest and
most important words our Messiah said!

Let us look at a few of the things that were finished at the
cross of calvary:

First and formost our salvation bought, our way back to the
father.
Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

He paid the price so that we could not only be forgiven of our
sins; but that we could also become once more the very
children of YHVH!
We are much more than just sinners saved by grace, we are
now the children of the most high!

He also paid the price for our healing; physically, mentally, and
emotionaly!
Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Paul wote to tell us that without the shedding of blood there
would be no remission of sins.  We know that the 39 stripes
were for our physical healing; but let us look a little further
into the above verse."...he was bruised for our iniquities..."
Those of us who know a little about the medical field know
that a bruise is a sign of internal bleeding. He bled on the
outside for our physical healings, he bled on the inside for our
internal (ie mental, and emotional) healings as well! Glory to
the name of Yeshua

He restored to us our self value, and self esteem as well.
Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
When we walk with our messiah, and follow after his teachings
we can walk without condemnation. I am sure that there will
always be some person who will find fault, but in the loving
eyes of our savior there is NO CONDEMNATION! Hallelujah!

(to be continued)

respectfully yours in Yeshua:

:)Let us continue with our topic!

As I stand with my bible in my hand I hold one of the most
comprehensive policies ever written!
Contained within it's pages is the most complete collection of
insurance policies ever penned by man.  Have I got your
undivided attention yet?

Within the pages of this black-backed book I find my fire
insurance protection.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
within these pages I find my life insurance:
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Not only do we live forever, but our God will wipe the tears
from our eyes, and will live among us.
As we saw in Isaiah 53:5 it is also my health insurance.
He said that he is The God that healeth thee.
My joy unspeakable and full of glory was also finished at the
cross of calvary!
Neh 8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
Paul put it another way when he wrote ..rejoice in the Lord
always , and again I say rejoice.

I could go on much longer, but I am sure that this post is long
enough for now! Grin
Some of you tell me how you see these words "it is finished"
in relationship to your walk with Yeshua.

 ;Drespectfully yours in Yeshua:

Yes,3 great words "It is finished"!
Hence Jesus is telling us there are to be no more prophets,no more sons of God,just as in the parable "He sent his son last of all".
And elsewhere the New Testament makes it clear he was the last:-"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith" (Heb 12:2)

Yet disgracefully,Muslims not only claim Mohammed was a prophet, but further outrageously claim that Jesus said :-"An apostle named Ahmad [Mohammed] will come after me" (Koran 61:6)
The Koran is on sale in virtually every bookshop around the world including the West, and as it openly incites racial hatred and violence, surely the shops selling it are liable to prosecution? Perhaps a "test case" is called for,to take bookshops to court?
For example here are some typical Koranic verses:-
"Allah allows killing in a just cause and for revenge" (Koran 17:33)
" Your most violent enemies are the Jews" (Koran 5:82)
"Do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends" (Koran 5:51)
"If you suspect your wife may desert you, beat her" (Koran 4:34)

Muslims try to defend the Koran by saying the Old Testament of the Bible can be just as harsh, but the fact is Jesus overuled the OT:-
"It was said  'eye for eye, tooth for tooth'  but I say turn the other cheek" (Matt 5:38)
Also see:-"The covenant of Jesus is superior to the old one" (Heb 8:6-13)
"Jesus is worthy of more honour than Moses" (Heb 3:3)
"Through Jesus we are saved, and not through Moses" (Acts 13:39)

Muslims also claim that Mohammed has just as much right to be listened to as Jesus, even though Moh has no credentials whatsoever. He simply claimed that he'd received revelations from Allah alone in a cave, whereas the coming of Jesus had been prophesied for centuries throughout the Old Testament. Jesus said:- "All things about me in the law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms, must be fulfilled" (Luke 24:44)

To sum up,the Koran appeals to Arabs because it's violent and anti-Jewish,and Moh played on this to boost his popularity, just as the Bible warned:- "They prefer teachers who only tell them what they want to hear" (2 Tim 4:2-4)
One thing Muslims can never disguise is the fact that Mohammed is a corpse in a box in Medina, whereas Jesus is not! Jesus said :-"I'm with you always til the end of the world"(Matt 28:20)

I've read an English translation of the Koran and found it to be one long poisonous tirade against Christians and Jews.It disguises this hatred behind a phoney facade of decency, and even scandalously copies many Bible verses,as it has little original to say for itself.

And never forget,Muslims reject Jesus even though he preached love and compassion and forgiveness, so that fact alone speaks volumes for their mentality!

Mick, it is clear that you know the Koran much better than
you know the bible. It is obvious that you have yet to :study
to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth
not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of  truth 2tim2:15

Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Let us begin with the above verses: there is a five fold
ministry within the true church of Jesus, as we see in the
verse 4:11
vs 12 tells us the purpose of this five fold ministry-the work of
the ministry, the edifying of the body. So many churches do
not have the whole ministy in them because of their fear, or
rejection of apostles and prophets. Without all 5 ministries how
do they expect to reach the goal of vs 13--till we come in the
unity of the faith, the knowledge of Jesus, and unto a perfect
man.

You are absolutely correct that Jesus is the author and the
finisher of our faith. Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing
by the Word of God. Jesus  is the word, so our faith comes
from him, is in him, and is because of him.
But what you have to understand is that Jesus was not the
end of the of the sons of God, but rather the beginning.

Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

When we stepped under the flow of blood at calvary, we were
taken from sinner to son of God. What an awesome Savior!

God is the only one I know that can was a soul black with sin
in red blood and watch it come out white as snow.
Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

"And never forget,Muslims reject Jesus even though he preached love and compassion and forgiveness, so that fact alone speaks volumes for their mentality!" Let us look as well
at this final quote from you! Cry

Nothing that I have seen in your post shows me anything but
your hatred for the muslims.
You need to learn that we are to hate the sin of this world,
and at the same time love the person commiting the sin!
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
The only difference between a sinner and a saint : a saint is
a sinner saved by the grace of God.

I thank God that when he said it is finished, my ability to love
rather than hate was also finished!

respectfully yours in Yeshua:

Nothing that I have seen in your post shows me anything but
your hatred for the muslims.

About 4 years ago I was chatting to a group of my Muslim pals at their stall in Leicester(England) city centre, when suddenly several white skinheads began punching and kicking them. All the Saturday shoppers retreated a safe distance and stood watching the show, but not me,I tried to put myself between the skinz and the Muslims to calm things down. The police quickly broke it up and the fracas made the headlines in the local paper.

Ravenloche,Satan is falsely trying to make you think I hate Muslims, tell him to go to blazes:)

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth , (or in this case
the fingers  Smiley ) speaketh!  Your retort says one thing about
you, your original post quite another! Which do I believe? I
have to go with the first, for it was your heart speaking, and
not your mind responding to rebuke.

As you said in one of your earlier post, you have a great deal
of difficulty bringing yourself to feel compassion for the lost!
The heart of a true follower of Yeshua will feel that love, and
desire to draw people to him above all else. If you look thru
the miracles of Jesus, you will notice that in almost all cases
it is preceeded by the statement that he was "moved with
compassion". If we have not love, compassion, and a desire
to lead others from the burning pits of hell then we are not
Sons of God, we are not followers of Jesus, and we are not
on our way to an eternity in the house of our Father!

I will pray that our messiah will show you the true heart of
YHVH, to love unconditionally in all things. Remember this as
well: sometimes love means chastisment. Please understand
that I do not dislike you; I do not even know you; but I do
know the heart of my Abba, my daddy if you will; and I will do
all I can to promote his will!

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

If we die out to self, and our feelings and desires, by the
presenting of our bodies as a living temple of the living God;
then we can begin to understand what it is to be Christ like.

As we renew our mind,ie-meditate upon the word of God, it
gets into our spirit, once in our spirit it gets into our heart,
once in our heart it becomes a part of who we are, and how
we talk. I pray you learn to give your savior complete control
of your life: let him become your life instead of just in your
life.

Respectfully your in Jesus:

I've been going in Christian chatrooms virtually daily for the past year to help people who ask for help, and I'm glad to do so,and they tell me they wish they'd met a Christian like me years ago.
But there are always a majority who think they don't need help, and instead just scoff, mock, profane, blaspheme and ridicule Christianity despite all my efforts to get through to them.
Okay, that's their free choice,so I'll simply wash my hands of them with scriptural back-up!

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Mat 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Luk 13:26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
Luk 13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

Read closely the above verse, I left their reverences so you
could go back and see them in full context.; unless as you
said in a earlier post it is satanic to advocate continual study
of the word of God!

You fail to understand that the carnal christian will say look
what I have done. The sold out christian will say look what the
Lord had done, and thank him that Jesus saw fit to use him.

"I've been going in Christian chatrooms virtually daily for the past year to help people who ask for help,"
"Okay, that's their free choice,so I'll simply wash my hands of them with scriptural back-up!"

the above quotes from you tell your true heart, not your
words that surround them in camo.
The scriptures tell us that we are to own no man anything
but LOVE. I'll let you look that one up and find it!
Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

I john 4:8...for God is love.   Where is the God that you claim
to serve? My Lord, My Abba, My father, my best friend is love.

.

In the OT, the manifest presence of God was present in the Holy of Holies in the Tabernacle. It was in the form of Shekkina Glory; in between the archangels in the Arch of the Covenants. Once a year, one time, one man, the high priest, only could go and get himself exposed to that Shekkina Glory.

When the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross, He said, It is finished. At that time, the veil of the temple in the Holy of Holies got torn from top to bottom. Because of this, the Shekkina Glory departed from that place.

We can do a comparative study of our body, soul and spirit to that of the three parts of the tabernacle; the Outer Core, the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies, respectively.

The very same Shekkina Glory that was present in the Holy of Holies, in the tabernacle, that departed from there when the Lord died, comes inside our human spirit, when we are born again, accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. That is the Holy of Holies we have, hence, our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God? You are not your own; you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If any one destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and that temple you are. (1 Cor. 6:19~20; 3:16~17)

Blessings in the Lord!
