Hey guys,

I think most of you already know me from various post.  I gave my testimony in the testimony forum, but I don't believe I ever formally introduced myself here.    Embarrassed  oops

My name is Tim.  I am 36, married with 2 children and love the Lord.   Being raised in a christian home, I was brought up to love the lord as my father was a preacher.  I got away from the Lord in my teens, but the Lord chased me down and made it easier to surrender than continue running....lol  I still stumble from time to time, but He is right there to brush me off, and pick me back up again.

I really enjoy studying prophecy as shadows of Gods prophetic word seem to be looming on the horizon.

Personal interest are very numerous.  Ham Raido, Storm chasing, Music/Guitar, chess, RC airplanes.  More hobbies than you can shake a stick at, but all of them combined does not even come close to the most important thing in my life...the Love Jesus Christ has shown to me.

May God use me as a lighthouse for others and a wittness to all I come in contact with.

Sorry I took so long for to give an intro.  I have been enjoying CU so much that already felt like part of the family.

Grace and Peace!

A belated welcome to you Tim and thank you for your already posted posts. Looking forward to more.

Your disclosure here in this post seems to show that even though you strayed at times God's spirit would not leave and God's power through Christ kept pulling you back to Him..
Isn't that a wondrous happening? I can identify with it also.

God's love and mine to you and yours.

Well, guess I can give a formal welcome to you Brother!  Welcome!  I can relate to the getting away from God concept myself, although mine was later in life.  What I find wonderous is that though I run from Him, I'm never free from Him.  He never leaves nor forsakes me.  I can go to the heights of Heaven or the depths of Hell and never be apart from Him.  That love I revel in and by no means understand.  God is good.  Glad to sharing that goodness with you Brother!  Welcome!

Oklahoma Howdy to 2nd Timothy,

Cheesy  I missed the part of your post where you confessed to being a preacher's kid. I am a preacher's kid also, so I second what Reba said.

We Preacher's Kids need to stick together!

Reba, we have a small army now!   Cheesy

Reba, nice to meet you too.  I'm not too troubled by differing opinions.  God's pleasure of variety is abundantly evident in his creation, and his people.  PK's are no exception either   Smiley

Bep...

Heres to the PK army!   Grin
