I've been interested in Audioslave for some time now. I love their music and actually started listening to the lyrics. They seem to lean towards a Christian theme... example
SHOW ME HOW TO LIVE
CHOROUS
Nail in my hand
From my creator
You gave me life
Now show me how to live
Nail in my hand
From my creator
You gave me life
Now show me how to live

Yeah, a lot of non-Christian bands have Christian sounding lyrics. Artists like Evinecance, Prefect circle, Veridical Horizon, Bob Marley, Jimmy Eat World, Puff Daddy, and DC talk.
Evinecance and DC talk even did time in Christian Charts!
As much as people want to deny it, Christianity is a part of the culture. Love it or hate it, it is here!

Yeah, Audioslave is pretty cool. I've been wanting that CD for a while now, as I am a huge fan of Rage Against the Machine. Not so much Soundgarden, but Chris Cornell's voice isn't too bad.
A Perfect Circle? Jimmy Eat World? Christian? Wow, I must be missing something here.
And that's a funny way to spell "vertical," Tibby. And "evanescence." I thought you were a college student?

That would explain a lot, you little Communist!

You are. We are talking about non-Christian band with Christian sounding lyrics, not Christian bands.
Explanation for Vertical- It is finals week (you will understand in a few years, if you‘re not in prison
). I can spell the parts of cell for you without error, if you’d like.
Explanation for evanescence- I’m not a fan, and that isn’t even a real word, so spelling doesn't count
Besides, while I am in college, I am also a kines major. If I had good spelling, grammar, and handwriting, they would kick me out of the program.

Nah, I actually HATE their message. Good music, in my opinion, however.

No, I understand. Jimmy Eat World's lyrics don't have much Christian substance to them, as far as I can tell. And I'm not really familiar with A Perfect Circle. I know they're nu-metal, and I guess I just never pictured them writing "Christian" lyrics.
It is finals week (you will understand in a few years, if you‘re not in prison ).
We have finals in high school. And if I ever went to prison, I'd break out.

Good to know, you little Socialist!
Yeah, high school Finals, I went thru 4 years of it, always passed, never studied. This is College, bub. Not Jr. College, either.
Oh, and those "dual-credit" college courses. Don't know if your allowed to take them are your grade in school yet, but I don't care what High Schools says, they are NOT just like college! Man, that was a load of crap! Using a college text book doesn't make it a college course!
Evanescence... well, I'm be... Just when you though Word covered all the words in the english language... That beign the case, I wish they woud behave as their name implies!
