Hello,

I am from Athens, GA and was raised in a Catholic school, until I went to middle school. I am not in college.

I am at a stage where I am questioning my faith. I need some help here. I have asked God for a sign, and he hasn't given me one yet. I don't know what to do. But don't respond to that here, I will post specific questions in other parts of the forum.

Hello Jesussavedusall,

Welcome aboard, it is good to question your religion. Do you read the Bible? Do you believe Christ died for your sins?

Grace & Peace

I, too, was raised as a catholic...VERY devout roman catholics in the family...have a few nuns in the family....one who was pretty high up until she retired and until then had lived by the Vatican or something like that.  Anyhow, I left the catholic church for personal reasons, but that's just me.

I know that God shows us signs everyday...we just have to keep our eyes and ears and heart open...He does it in unique ways Smiley

Oklahoma Howdy to JesusSavedUsAll,

The sign you seek has already been given, long before you were born. The answer is in Christ.

In Christ,

At the advent of the moderator deleting the Evolution vs. Creationism topic, I am going to leave this forum.

I came here for answers. Not to be lectured on what to believe, or listen to propaganda. Since the moderator is so happily deleting anything that is controversial and ignoring anything that could possibly go against his or her beliefs, without thought, this is not the place for me.

There are only 2 places where exclusion of thought occurs. One is a dictatorship, the other one is in the hearts of those who always think they are right.

I am not saying anyone is wrong. I am saying that I don't know what is right and what is wrong, and for me to go on a course of discovery is to listen to both sides, not a one sided argument. To continue on this forum would mean for me to continue in ignorance and not fully explore aspects of which I believe I am entitled to.

You guys have been nice.

I'm sincerely sorry to hear this. I promise you won't find the answers you seek from the Devil, and we don't give equal time to the Devil. If you think that you'll find peace from evolution or the Devil, you won't find it here. In fact, you won't find peace from evolution or the Devil anywhere.

When you get ready for answers, seek Jesus and exclude the Devil. I'll be praying for you.

In Christ,
Tom

Look, theoretically, if you give equal time for the devil God should still win.

Plus, if we do listen to what they have to say, we know why they are wrong as opposed to, "they are wrong, i'm not listening" Builds stronger arguments builds a way to get to others that think the same way, builds bridges.

Oklahoma Howdy to JesusSavedUsAll,

That would be like your pastor at church letting a Satanist have half of the services. Giving equal time to the Devil may be part of the problem you are here seeking help for. Regardless, the matter is not subject to debate here, and I'm almost positive the matter isn't subject to debate at your church.

In Christ,
Tom

We aren't in church. I thought this was discussion forum. Whatever. At least at church they tell us why things are wrong. Here all you want to do is strengthen faith by preaching to the choir, not by comparing it to anything else.

Oklahoma Howdy to Symphony,

 Grin  LOL

Wouldn't it have been neat to get Lurch, Stan, and Ollie together for a few episodes?

Thanks, I needed that laugh.

Oklahoma Howdy to JesusSavedUsAll,

You appear to be venting over something that really isn't part of the problem you came here for help. This is a Christian Family Forum that includes members of all ages, including young folks. Christian fellowship is the goal.

Brother, we don't have an Islam, pornography, or Buddha section either. I would invite you to go to our prayer section and let us try to help you.

Love In Christ,
Tom
