Post you favorites here. Share what's moved you or affected your life.

"Welcome, child," he said.
"Aslan," said Lucy, "you're bigger."
"That is because you are older, little one," answered he.
"Not because you are?"
"I am not. But every year you grow, you will find me bigger."

"The Bible calls debt a curse and children a blessing. But in our culture, we apply for a curse and reject blessings. Something is wrong with this picture."

"Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. Then, who cares? You're a mile away, and you've got his shoes."

"Your walk talks, and your talk talks, but your walk'll talk louder than your talk'll talk."

I heard Dr. Les Olilla say this...

Hmm, good one, All.  And Teddy Roosevelt's, Psalm119.

Sapphire, I heard that on on CarTalk one Saturday morning.  Don't know who said it, though.

My alltime, favorite, nonbiblical quote:

Those are my principles.  If you don't like it, I have others.

Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation. It is better to be alone than in bad company.

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

We come closest to God at our lowest moments. It's easiest to hear God when you are stripped of pride and arrogance, when you have nothing to rely on except God. It's pretty painful to get to that point, but when you do, God is there.

A man stood before God and asked, "Look at all the suffering, the anguish and distress in your world. Why don't you send help?" God responded, "I did send help. I sent you."
