Then, there are guys like Origin and Plato, who had no trouble believing in an “energy,” even thought, as far as we know, they had never had contract with the East. Not to mention the Celtic and Native America peoples. As I said, I do beleive in "Lifeforce" it is the channel I have trobule with. That i the problem more christian have with Reiki, not the energy, but the claim that Channeling spirits gives them the energy.
I really could care less about Origen but regardless. You need to look a little better at a world map. Plato was from Greece and Greece is Eastern Europe. Perhaps you've forgotten a few things. A) Alexander the Great worked his kingdon well into Asia B) Greece was considered part of the "east" long ago and C) Reike or whatever along with a lot of things is Eastern not western. Channeling Energy, spirits or what ever is ALWAYS considered a spiritual thing. The West has had contact with the east for quite sometime including Origen.
