How do I insert a picture into a post?

Note that there are no spaces between "img" and the [ ].

I omitted the right bracket at the beginning so you could see the text, other wise it would show the picture or an x in a square if wrong.

This is a smiley skipping rope. img =image and it has to be bracketed.   /img = not image and also must be bracketed.
