Sorry, I know I didn't get all of them listed.
Which translation do you prefer and why?

I like all of the above!  But them my approach is ecclectic.  Hence, I prefer the ESV.  It has the poetic beauty of the KJV, but the modern vernacular my simple mind can understand.   Smiley

The KJV. It is the one that brought me to the wonderful power of Jesus' love for us.

I do use others also.

King James Version
with
NLT (New Living Testament) as a reference

AND:

Modern King James Version
American Standard Version

mostly

but I have quite a few others.

I guess I use the King James because it has been widely accepted for quite a while, but I like the New Living Testament for ease of reading when I can't get something in KJV. American Standard Version is nice and Modern King James is also.

I mainly use the NIV because I find the translation easy to understand. I really like the KJV because I love the language used in it but i don't have one of my own.

Old Testament:

The Torah (The Law), The Nevi'im (The Prophets), and The Kethuvim (The Writings) as published by the Judaic Society of America.

New Testament:

Usually KJV, occasionally NKJV or GNB.

I don't particularly care for the NIV or NLT.
