I really enjoy watching AI...although I am not sure that I have EVER heard Paula say something mildly constructive. I do enjoy Simon's ungraced honesty...maybe it is because I wish that I didn't value what others thought so much...oh, well. It doesn't matter, because La Toya is going all the way baby! She works harder than all the rest. p.s. someone needs to deal with Sir Seacrest

Fellowship / You name it!! / Preparing for Seminary

I am planning on starting Seminary this fall. Moving from a music education position to a classroom Bible learner has me a bit freaked out. I am wondering if there are any who would recommend things that I can do this summer to help me prepare for this awesome learning experience.
Excited to learn,

I realize that I am new to this site, but I can say that I have had experience on the writing and recording side of the music industry. I agree with "someguy" when he says that it only takes $1 to replicate a CD. However, the things he didn't include in that are paying the Recording Artists, Composer, Arrangers, Producers, Recording Engineers, Recording Studios, Graphics Designers, Publicity Personel, Copyrights, ect...
However, is the issue here the money that the Recording Artist are making or is it biblical obedience to the authority that God has put over us?
I voted "yes."

Isn't it cool that everyone knowing Christ will be a part of worshipping Him at that time. No one will want to stand by, but we will each be a part of the massive body lifting gloriously worthy, Worthy, WORTHY is the Lamb!! What a Awesome time that will be. Thanks for the prod to look to the end.

Do I think Christian music should be limited to 1500's Hymns? No., but they could take a hint from the 1500's composers!
Most of these hymns were written by theologians, not musicians.
