I did not read every reply, so do not know if this scripture was quoted or not, but here is how I feel about Osteen, Copeland, Casey Treat, (in my Seattle area), and others....

PRAISE THE LORD FOR EVERYTHING, THAT HAPPENS IN YOUR LIFE.

I Write Unto You That You May Know What I Think About Our Relationship.

When You Became My Bride, We Both Rejoiced. Our Hearts Were Filled With Love For Each Other. It Seemed We Could Not Contain The Joy We Felt.

But, My Darling Bride, That Aspect Of Our Relationship Did Not Last Long. It Wasn't Long Before We Started Spending Less And Less Time Together.

Even Though, Because Of The Circumstances, We Are Together Every Minute Of The Day, You Act Most Of The Time As If I Wasn't Even There.

Though I Have Made It Known To You Many Times Over How Much I Desire To Be A Part Of All That You Do, You Pretend Not To Hear Me. You Don't Include Me In 95% Of What You Do.

I Agree, You Do Take Time Each Day To Spend 15 Minutes Or So With Me. But I Thought Marriage Meant More Than That.

I Also Agree, That I Enjoy The Family Get-togethers We Have Once A Week Or So. But Even Then You Spend More Talking To The Family Than You Do Talking To Me.

And, Even When You Do Talk To Me, You Rarely Listen To What I Have To Say.

The Way I See It, We Don't Really Have A Meaningful Relationship. You Spend More Time Each Week Watching T.V. Than You Spend With Me. You Are More Concerned With What Others Think About You, Than What I Think About You.

Hello to all, and the blessings of our Father upon you all.
My name is Roy, and I have been gone for almost 2 years, as I did not have a computer....had to go to library just to do e-mail....
But now I again have a computer again, and so e-mailed brother Tom, and was glad to hear forum was still around, and that I was still registered.
That surprised me...but God can do anything..Praise His name...
will be visiting daily now, and look forward to sharing, and to being fed by all the brothers and sisters who are hear...... Roy

What is called by the catholic church "the Lord's prayer" was never meant to be a prayer we were to pray. It is Jesus teaching the desciples HOW to pray; not WHAT to pray.
He is teaching them how to see the Father; how to come to Him in prayer; etc.
We do not get forgiven by saying this so called "Lord's prayer" a certain amount of times, nor saying the "hail Mary's" a certain amount of times. We get forgiven by coming to the Father, through Christ Jesus our Savior, and truly being repentant in our hearts.
To really read the Lord's prayer, read chapter 17 of John. That is the Lord's prayer for all of us.

What any of us here feel, or believe, is not what is important.
What you believe the Lord is telling you is what is important.
The Holy Spirit who lives in you will answer your question if you ask, and then take the time to hear His answer.

But I would recommend not just asking about this or that show, but about the entertainment of the world, period.

This is the kingdom of God, which all His children may live in while upon the earth. And, which we are told in Matthew 6.33, is the "first" thing we are to seek after becoming a Christian. Jesus told the apostles the same thing when He told them to tarry in Jerusalem till they received power from on high. There is no power to live as He has commanded us to live, outside of His kingdom. We must live "in the Holy Spirit", [in His kingdom], or we are carnal, and have no power to obey Him.  "Without Me, you can do nothing." [John 15.5].

Since Adam and Eve, all of mankind has been 'born' with a sin nature. Our spirit has a nature of sin, because of our original parents....and, since God cannot dwell where there is sin, He had to give us a new spirit, for Him to live in. When He does this, this is being born again.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you....." Ezekiel 36.26...."I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgements and do them." Ezekiel 36.27.
So, as you see, He first gives us a new spirit, and then He comes to live in that spirit. He is able to give us a new spirit because of the shed blood of Jesus the Christ.

If you ever wondered what the "new wine into a new wineskin" was about, this is it....we do not put new wine into an old wineskin, but into a new wineskin...see Matt. 9.17.

The "goodbye" does indeed show me that you are furious. I'm sorry you don't give people another chance. Jesus said to forgive not once, but 70 times. I do not feel at all forgiven by you. The fact that you're trying to control my response shows me an incredible lack of forgiveness. I'm sorry for you, Royo, but i do forgive you.
