211  Theology / Debate / What Covenant Theology does not see ?? on: October 04, 2010, 06:25:16 PM
Hi to all , and there many believers , who say that there is  ONLY one Gospel , but they  NEVER  give a verse where it says one Gospel .

But , I believe in one ONLY   Gospel  also  , and it is the Gospel that Paul began to teach in 1 Cor 20:24 , "  which I have received of  the Lord Jesus  , to
testify the Gospel of the Grace of God .

Where does Peter preach this message Huh

#1 , In Gal 2:7  and contrariwise , when they saw that the Gospel of the Circumcision , which is to the Gentiles , was committed unto me , which is to Gentiles only !!!

#2 , As `the gospel of the Circumcision " was committed unto Peter , which is to Jews only !

#3 , Then , our third gospel is in Gal 3:8 , which God Himself gave to Abram in Genesis 12:1-3 , and this gospel will be preached to the Gentiles in the Millennium .

#4 , Then in Rev 14:6 , we has the Everlasting Gospel that will be  ONLY  preached during the last part of the Great Tribulation and it a Gospel of

Judgment found in verse 7 .

 What say you ??
212  Theology / Debate / Does the Body of Christ have a Covenant ?? on: October 04, 2010, 05:54:44 PM
Hi nChrist , and I can only reply because the other thread would not allow me to !

You said that is I am speaking about two Covenants , that you agree !

My question to you then is , Where does Paul ever say that the Godhead has a Covenant with the Body o9f Christ ?

 Will you use  1 Cor 11:25 ?

I already have and  OP  , on what came first Covenants or Dispensations ?

 What say you Huh
213  Theology / Debate / What is Acts 15:11 saying ?? on: October 02, 2010, 07:09:03 PM
Hi to all , and I am on many other forums where many believers say that there is only one Gospel  !

The context is important , no matter where you are reading in the bible .

In Acts 15:1 , it is easy to see that the context is Jewish !

After Acts 15 , Peter fades from the scene , because , soon Israel will be set aside in Acts 28:28 .

What is confusing to many , might be that Paul is not only Preaching to Jews , like in Acts 21:21 , and we see the that there are many Jews that are still
zealous of the Law , Acts 21:20 .

And in verse 11 , Peter says , But we believe that through the Grace of the Lord  Jesus Christ  WE  ( The Jews  )   shall be saved , even as they

(  and they means the Gentiles  )

We see , that in Acts 15:10 , Peter is still talking about the Law that they still have to keep , but that one day we shall be saved by Grace without the Law and its  Repentance and Baptism and be saved by Grace only as the Gentiles are !

And this is what is happening today , that when Jews are saved today it is by Grace and lose their Identity in Christ and are no longer Jews , and this is the  ONLY  TIME  that Jews lose their Identity .

What say you ?

214  Theology / Debate / Re: Do we still have free will ?? on: September 30, 2010, 05:10:29 PM
[quote author=Shammu l

Are you really seeking truth, or are you blind because you don't want to accept what scripture plainly says? God has not caused Pharaoh blindness, his own lack of faith prevents him from seeing truth. God did not force Adam to sin either. He simply gave Adam free will so that he could choose whether to serve God or himself. Adam chose to believe that God had kept some truth from him, some knowledge of good and evil, in-spite of all the greatness around him in the garden. So lacking faith (that God had provided all for him) he chose to test God by disobedience and see for himself, thus falling into sin for his lack of faith in believing all that God had said.

Hi Shammu , and I am always a seeker after truth , rightly divided .

And if God violates any one will , then that will or decision was not yours ..

Then in Isa 45:7, God creates  EVIL , but that is not true !

I do not believe that` I am blind , unless the Lord has given you special revelation and I want those who have a better handle on "  free will  ".

How can a man have  "free will "  when in this Age of Grace , But the natural man receiveth  NOT  the things of the Spirit of God for they are foolishness unto him neither can he know them , because they are spiritually discerned .

In this instance , does God violate , mans will ??
215  Theology / Debate / Do we still have free will ?? on: September 29, 2010, 07:44:57 PM
Hi to all , and there are many believers that say that the bible teaches free will and yes I know that who soever will may come .

And I see only two groups that had  " true free will " !!

The first group were Lucifer and those that followed Lucifer .

The other two that had honest , true free will , were Adam and Eve !

Under Grace I do not see free will , but only election !!

 What say you Huh

216  Theology / Debate / Re: What Matt 28:19 really means ?? on: September 29, 2010, 02:00:04 PM
[quote author=Brother Jerry.

Sorry Dan...but your argument here has absolutely no substance.  I can cite later verses in Matthew, such as the great Commission verse that express that Jesus wanted us to go to the Gentiles, that His message was for the Gentiles, just as the Samarian woman at the well, as recorded also in Matthew.  Your case has more holes in it than a screened porch.
If you had a good argument , with would have shown how  ETHNOS  is used , instead of saying that I have no substance , really amusing , dan p

217  Theology / Debate / How was Paul Baptized ?? on: September 27, 2010, 06:30:04 PM
Hi to all , and if Paul was saved under the preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom , then by that definition , Paul have to be Water Baptized !!

Acts 9:18 , say that Paul was Baptized ?

Was it Water or Dry ??

If Paul was saved by Grace , why is he Baptized ??

And if by Water , why have another Apostle ??

218  Theology / Debate / Who were Covenants given too ?? on: September 27, 2010, 06:09:27 PM
Hi to all , and many believers say the Body of Christ is also under the New Covenant !!

They use 1  Cor 11:25 to show that the Body of Christ is under the New Testament ?

Does Paul write that we are under the New Covenant Huh

 What say you Huh
219  Theology / Debate / How was Paul saved ??? on: September 27, 2010, 05:18:27 PM
Hi to all , and even some Dispensationalist believe that Paul was saved under the preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom .

Of , course I say to those believers , how do they prove that ??

And is there anyone that believes that the Lord preached the Gospel of the Kingdom to Paul ??

And I say that he was saved by Grace !!!

 What say you Huh
220  Theology / Debate / Can sins be Remitted ?? on: September 25, 2010, 05:45:14 PM
Hi to all , and there are many believers who say that Baptism is valid for today , or many that say that Baptism dos not saved ,but that we should , as Christ was baptized or that we should all follow the Lord earthly ministry .

But , in John 20:19 , we see that the  CONTEXT  is all Jewish with a commission  BEFORE  the so-called Great Commission of Matt 28:19 .

In verse 21 , "  as My  Father hath sent  Me , even so send I you .

Then in verse 22 , He breathed on them , and saith unto them , Receive ye (  THE  )  Holy Spirit .

Then in verse 23 , Whose soever sins you REMIT  they are REMITTED unto them , and whose soever sins ye RETAIN , they are Retained .

In verse 22 , the  Greek Article  (  THE )  IS ADDED  , does it make a difference Huh   I SAY IT DOES !!!

In verse 23 , the disciples are given the Power to forgive  SINS , and is that possible today Huh

How did they remit sins Huh
221  Theology / Debate / Re: Who has to repent ? on: September 25, 2010, 02:24:28 PM
I indeed did give you scripture that answered the question in the OP. Read it again.

And that is a problem? It is still scripture and does apply.

This has nothing to do with your original question nor my comments in my last post other than that you are trying to prove that the Jews are all under a different gospel and that has nothing to do with my point on repentance as repentance is clearly for all men as seen in the verses in my last post.

You said Paul preaching the same message as Paul. Do you mean the 'same message as Peter'?

Why did the Jews work to kill Jesus? Why did many Jews attempt to turn others back to the old Judaism and away from Jesus as we see in the book of Hebrews?

Yes in verse 3 Paul was speaking to the Jews but later in the chapter he was speaking also to the Gentiles.

Again, you asked, "Where are we told to repent ??" I answered your question with scripture (Act 17:30). If you refuse to accept that "now commandeth all men every where to repent" means all men everywhere and not just the Jews then there is nothing further for us to discuss here.

The word repent means to feel compunction, to think differently. Do not the Gentiles also need to do so? After all they were following strange gods and idols and as such also sinners that need to feel compunction, to think differently and to turn to Jesus.

Hi Pastor Roger , and as I have repeated to you in the OP , Jews were called to repentance , linked to water Baptism as Matt 3:2 and Acts 3-4 records.

Repentance  is  LINKED  to water  Baptism ,  so then why does not Eph 2:8 ,  Repent and you will be saved by Grace through faith Huh

In Matt 3: 2 , Israel had to have a  METANOIA / A CHANGE OF MIND  as to their Law that they as Jews were  NOT keeping .

In Pauline truth , how can the Natural man have a change of mind , when he does not receive the things o0f God and that they are foolishness to him , because they are  SPIRITUALLY  DISCERNED .  There is none that seekth after God .

222  Theology / Debate / Which came FIRST , Covenants or Dispensations ? on: September 24, 2010, 06:13:26 PM
Hi to all , and there are many Believers say that Covenant came first and I say , NO .

IN  Eph 1:4 says , " According as He hath  CHOSEN /ELECTED us in Him before the foundation of the world ."

Then in 2 Tim 1:9 , we are again , we are  CALLED/ELECTED  , in Christ Jesus ,  before the world began .

This to me means that Dispensations were  BEFORE  Covenants , but there is another  AGE  where it is not considered a  Dispensation .

This is what is called by some , The Dispensation of Angelic Testing where Lucifer and his angel fell , again before the worlds were made .
223  Theology / Debate / What is the name of this Church ? on: September 24, 2010, 01:59:27 PM
Hi to all , and in Acts 8:1-3 , Paul is consenting to the death of Stephen .

And in verse 3 , Saul/Paul is making Havock  of the church , entering into every house , and haling men and women committed them to prison .

And in Gal 1:13 , Paul reveals that  " in times past in the Jews religion , how that beyond measure I persecuted the Church of God and wasted it .

Since this is before Paul's salvation and before Paul wrote of the Body of Christ , or that anyone knew about the Body of Christ !!

What is the name of this Church or Assembly ??

Does this not say that there is mo0re than one Gospel ?
224  Theology / Debate / Re: Who has to repent ? on: September 24, 2010, 01:46:42 PM
]

Paul was not speaking just to the Jews in these verses and it specifically tells us that "ALL MEN EVERYWHERE" are to repent not just the Jews. Paul also tells us later in Romans that there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek.
Hi Pastor Roger , and you did not answer the OP , but will comment on these last phrase .

#1 , " that there IS no difference between Jews and Gentiles is Pauline theology .

#2 , And , in the gospels , any Gentile , like Cornelius , became a Jew or Proselyte and  NOT  saved by Grace , as Cornelius was water Baptized .

#3 , In  Acts 17:13 ,  IF  Paul was preaching the same message as Paul , why are the Jews trying to kill Paul ?

#4 , And in Acts 17:3 , we see what Paul was preaching to the Jews , Opening and alleging , that CHRIST/MESSIAH  , whom I preach unto you is  MESSIAH .

225  Theology / General Theology / Re: The Holy Spirit on: September 23, 2010, 08:42:08 PM
Hello Javier and all,

I actually think that we're all on the same sheet of music. All involved in this discussion know that Almighty God is GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT - The Holy Three being unique - but ONE. Academic discussions of the Holy Trinity can get confusing, and it's sometimes difficult to try and understand what someone is saying. The easy part would be saying something like, "I love and trust Almighty God". A statement like that from me would refer to the Holy Trinity - my Heavenly Father, my Lord and Saviour, and my Guide and Comforter who lives in my heart. We should all know how much God likes for us to come to Him in childlike faith.

Matthew 18:1-5 (KJV)  1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?   2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,   3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.   4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.   5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

Hi to all , and many have come close to what I am saying , and if we worship the Godhead we are also worshipping the Holy Spirit .

Love In Christ,
Tom
