Hello Armorbearer,

I really don't know what you are asking, unless it is some word game of semantics. After reading your previous posts, especially the one that was deleted, I can't be a party to confusion on the subject of ALMIGHTY GOD. I won't be a party to that kind of confusion.

No word games coming from me.  And this is the reason I asked the question I asked. Let me explain.

Brother David asked if he was wrong for telling people that they were blasphemers because they didn't believe that He was God.  I don't disagree that Jesus is God the Son.  I asked the previous question because there are some that teach that Jesus is GOD and there is none other. They say there is no Father nor Holy Spirit but Jesus only.  They even say that after JESUS was baptized by John the baptist, that when the witnesses heard a voice from heaven say, " this is my beloved son in whom i'am well pleased", that Jesus threw His voice up to heaven and it echoed back.

That's why in the post that was deleted, I disagreed with Jesus being God. Not saying that He is not God the Son.  That's why I asked the question,  is it correct to say that Jesus is God, without including God the Father or God the Holy Spirit.  I'm not playing word games. Just trying to come to an understanding of what you believe.I know and believe in the GOD HEAD.
2  Fellowship / You name it!! / Re: Am I in the wrong? on: April 15, 2008, 10:21:30 PM

5 - Are GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT distinct and unique - YET ONE? YES - THEY ARE! No MEMBER of the HOLY TRINITY (GODHEAD) has a beginning or and ending! THEY ARE THE GREAT "I AM" - ALMIGHTY GOD ETERNAL![/color][/b]

I believe this to be true that Jesus is  GOD the SON.
But would it be correct to say that Jesus is God without saying God the Son and without including GOD the Father and GOD the Holy Spirit.      Another way to put it would be this:  Could I go up to someone for the purpose of witnessing to them and say that Jesus is GOD and He died on the cross for your sins!   Would this be correct?
3  Theology / Debate / How can we be apart of the same body and have so many diferences? on: April 15, 2008, 09:19:51 PM
If you are saved, excepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, then you have been baptized into the body of Christ. There is one body, but many members.

Ephesians 1:  22And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Jesus is the head of the church.  But if I have a difference of opinion over doctrine, I am not free to express how I feel about the matter.   And we are supposed to be a part of the same body. How can this be?  If while I was at school, and my teacher gave me a test, and I answered the qustion wrong and went to the teacher to ask he/she to explain why the answer is wrong when I knew it to be right. If the teacher just turned to me and said that the answer is wrong without an explanation and I need not to bring it up again, how can I then know what answer is right?     The Word of God is like a puzzle and it takes the Holy Spirit to reveal it unto us so that we understand it.

Since I can't send personal mail, those who read this know what i'm talkin about.   We are supposed to be apart of the same body. You can't just shut someone down merely because you don't agree with them.  How can those who believe in false doctrines be won over to Christ if no one will let them express their point of views. Before you can solve a problem, you've got to know all of the details.  You can't defend the faith if you no one is talking against it. You can't defend the faith if you don't listen to the views of the ones who believe in something else.

I'm 28 years old and am seeking the Lord now more than I ever have before. I said I came here to this forum so that I can fellowship with other and be sharpened by the Word and those who say they know it better than I. You see I know how to disagree with people and still remain friends. But how can I have fellowship with anyone if they try to put a muzzle over my mouth. ( those who read this know what i'am talkin about)

If you should so choose to please respond to my frustration![/b]

  WOW!

BLACKEYEDPEAS, this is a powerful scripture and is going to require some digestion on my part before I can give my full answer.  GOD's agenda for us is by no means to be taken lightly.  I thank GOD for using you to provoke this thread. I'll admit, for a brief moment, in seeking and studying the Word, I forgot the basic principle, that I was created to praise HIM. I didn't really neglect to praise HIM, but in times of seeking the LORD for strength, I forgot that HIS strength for me comes when I praise. GOD BLESS YOU.

The scripture you gave is going to require some meditation on my part so that I can get this into my spirit. These scriptures could be a thread all by itself!      Thanks for the Fellowship

2 - What was the real purpose for GOD Creating mankind?

Psalm 102: 18This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.

Psalm  148:  5Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

According to scripture we were created to praise HIM. HE wanted a people that would willingly praise HIM and serve HIM.  HE wants us to willingly follow HIS directions and yield to the direction of HIS Holy Spirit.  Beyond this, I know not another reason HE created us.
6  Fellowship / You name it!! / Re: CHRISTIAN AGENDA QUESTION? on: April 08, 2008, 11:04:09 PM

What is this "inheritance of the saints in light"? This is alluding to the inheritance of division of land to the twelve tribes of Israel. This is just an analogy of that for Christians, for we know that our inheritance is in heaven and not of this world:

1Pe 1:4  To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
1Pe 1:5  Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Amen.  I agree. And to add to this, Christ said this:

John 14:      1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions;[a] if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

This is our hope. And this is what we believe.  We have faith in His Word. And we know that what He said, shall come to pass.

7  Fellowship / You name it!! / Re: What do you think He wrote on the ground? on: April 07, 2008, 10:14:14 PM

We cannot know for sure what it was that he wrote on the ground. According to some there were supposedly a few old manuscripts that add the portion of "their sins who accused her, and the sins of all men" but there is no verification of this available today.

  Amen P.R.

This is well said and I agree. I wanted to see how many different answers I might get. I've heard a few people preach on this and they've said some silly stuff about what they think He wrote. They were trying to make something out of nothing.
8  Fellowship / You name it!! / Re: CHRISTIAN AGENDA QUESTION? on: April 07, 2008, 10:08:17 PM
On the answer to this question, explain to me where we differ.
Please let me say a little more on this question to eliminate any confusion. GOD wants to give us many things that we won't receive during this short life. One involves a Promise made by GOD to give us a Glorified Body like the one CHRIST has at HIS Appointed Time. GOD has MUCH MORE HE wants to give us than the things of this world, and this world is NOT our home. Our Promises from GOD are more beautiful than mankind can even imagine, but GOD will fulfill every Promise Perfectly at HIS Appointed Time.[/b]

Maybe i'm still a little off as to what you're asking. In my previous answer, I was talking about what we will or will not get out of this life. I think I get it now. You're talking about after this life is over?   I get this conclusion by reading your response in Romans 8:16-23. If this is correct then I read through your question too fast and jumpedd to answer.  If so my apologies. Smiley
9  Fellowship / You name it!! / What do you think He wrote on the ground? on: April 07, 2008, 06:44:50 PM
Let me pick at your minds a little bet Smiley
Besides the results of this wonderful story of forgiveness, what do you believe He wrote?

John 8:  1 But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
2 Now early[a] in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them. 3 Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, 4 they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses, in the law, commanded[c] us that such should be stoned.[d] But what do You say?”[e] 6 This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear.[f]
7 So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up[g] and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” 8 And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9 Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience,[h] went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
10  Fellowship / You name it!! / Re: CHRISTIAN AGENDA QUESTION? on: April 07, 2008, 04:59:30 PM

God is so merciful and kind to us. And it is AMAZING that HE would take something that is messed up, and say that " I'M GONNA FIX IT, EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T BRAKE IT". After Adam caused the fall of man in the Garden, GOD didn't throw man away and say i'm gonna make another one.( that would've given the devil the victory) GOD in HIS infinite wisdom and having compassion on HIS creation, put HIS plan of salvation into action and redeemed us unto HIMSELF. HE is the ALMIGHTY GOD and there is none like HIM.  GLORY, Halleluja!!!

1 - As Christians, will we exercise our Citizenship in Heaven or claim our Inheritance with the Saints in LIGHT during this short life on earth?

As Christians, I believe it is totally up to us on how much we receive or don't receive from God.  We are the children of a KING! And even though our true citizenship does not reside in this world, God has given us authority to exercise our gifts and receive HIS promises in our life time. But how much we receive relies on each individual. We get out of the Word what we put into the Word.

In order to get right down to it, look at blackeyedpeas question again.  The keys I see is " will we exercise...".   Exercising requires us to do some work, not GOD do the work for us. Now it was also said that God wants to give us Glorfied bodies as the one Christ displayed that He had on " the mount of transfiguration". And this is well said. And he showed 3 of His disciples this body while He was on this earth, before He went to the Cross. And Jesus said the things He did we shall do and greater things shall we do  John 14:12.  I want you to realize something, and this is personal opinion. The bible says that Jesus waxed strong in the Spirit and in knowledge  which means He had to study the Word and know the Word and meditate on the Word. Look at how long Jesus studied the Word and think about how much we study the Word in between watching TV.

So in order for us to receive and walk in the manifested promises of God, it's gonna take a little work or exercise. I can go a little further on this but i'll see what everyone else has to say.  Bottom line, it's up to each individual on what they receive and what they claim or take hold of in this life.

11  Fellowship / You name it!! / Re: CHRISTIAN AGENDA QUESTION? on: April 06, 2008, 08:56:39 PM
God loves us, more than we'll ever know.  Matt. 22:37-40 is how we remain in righteousness or in right standings with God.   To add to this Jesus said this:

John 14:15    If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Did you catch that. If we truely love Christ, we will keep His commandments.  You don't love God by merely saying it. We show our love be action and make sure that our motives are right and pure because God looks at our hearts. The reason why I say this is because we can do the right thing for the wrong reason. We can go out and witness for Christ, but the motive could be for self gain and to receive praise of men.

But if we truely love the Lord, we will seek His face and find out how we, on an individual basis can please Him.  It is rightly said, God wants us to be saved 1st. Then He wants us to learn how to live right. And everyone, has been given the ministry of reconciliation.  But not everyone is called to be a disciple.   There are different levels on which each person can please God. God will not put an expectation on us that we cannot fulfill. So, we please Him by fulfilling Matt.22:37- 40, and John 14:15. Then when God requires more(which varies on an individual basis), we please Him more by yielding to the direction of His Holy Spirit.

1 - Will we see the fulfllment of what GOD really wants for us in this short life?

Isaiah 55:11    11So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

If GOD spoke it, then it shall come to pass. His expectations for us are written in His Word. So yes we will see the fulfillment of what God wants. Whether or not we live to see it, HIS Word shall come to pass.
12  Fellowship / You name it!! / Re: CHRISTIAN AGENDA QUESTION? on: April 05, 2008, 12:29:50 PM
My friends, this is the goal that the Lord has put on my heart. It should be, in my opinion the goal of every believer. And that is the ministry of reconciliation.

2 Corinthians 5:17-19     17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

To reach the lost and snatch them from the grips of the enemy. He has blinded their minds so that they may not believe in Christ and the only way for their eyes to be opened is for us to preach the gospel to the lost.

2 Corinthians 4:3-5     3But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious      gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
5For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

They have to see Christ in me and not me in me.

13  Theology / Bible Prescription Shop / Hell is not a big party! on: April 02, 2008, 06:32:29 PM
    What is hell?
Have you ever heard a man say that he wants to go to hell?  Sad, but the reality to this answer is yes. Many people in the world believe that heaven is going to be boring and hell is gonna be a big party. They think that if they go to hell then they smoke, drink, fornicate, dance and party all they want.  This is a lie straight from the devil himself!  He leading the lost into thinking that HELL is gonna be fun.

We must shed the light of the Word on this lie.  Hell is exactly the opposite. It is torment, anguish, and gnashing of teeth.

Rev. 14:11     And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

             2Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them    into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

Matt. 13: 41-43      41The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.[/b]

Hell, it's just like your cities justice center. If you commit a crime, the police take you jail and you stay there until you go before the judge. Hell is like a large holding facility. If you die without confessing Jesus as Lord, his angels will carry you away to hell.  If you die and go to hell, that's where you'll be until the day of judgement. And then you will be cast into the lake of fire.

Luke 16:    22 So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Rev. 20     12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

These scriptures here even cancel out the notion from other religions that try to say that God is too merciful to let anyone suffer in a place called hell.   Heaven is real and so is hell.  You cancel your reservation to hell by excepting Christ as Lord and Savior.  IT is the best decision anyone could ever make.
14  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Re: News items that look towards Ezekiel 38 & 39 on: April 01, 2008, 09:30:22 PM
YES - I think that the time grows short.

As Christians, I firmly believe that our highest priority should be distributing The GOOD NEWS of the GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD - JESUS CHRIST - THE CROSS! This is still the most powerful and precious message on the face of the earth. .

   I agree 100% Brother Tom.

This is the way feel about it. If the LORD decides it's time for us to go home, then i'm ready. But the fact of the matter is that it is not time yet. And we as brothers and sisters in Christ must be willing to do what it takes to promote the grace and knowledge of the gospel. WE are to have the mind of Christ. That means we must continue to see to it that the lost be found.

We must continue to hold on to the truth, and KNOW without a doubt in our minds that HIS promises will be fulfilled. Let look at what Peter said:

   2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

HIS Love is so great, that HE's giving everyone a chance to come to repentance. Hold fast to HIS Word. All things will come to past. We must continue to be a witness for Christ. We must contiue to tell peolpe that there is room at the CROSS. We must be like our Heavenly Father, and have a heart of compassion that says, my will is that none perish, but thast everyone comes to repentance.

This why i'm glad that the time has not yet come. Because if it did come, within the next  hour, how many people do you think would perish?

Thankyou. Now I know what WND stands for. I saw it just didn't know what it meant.
