Well being a Military man who loves his country I have a few choice words for a coward like Mr. Moore. I remember reading about another anti-American during the Vietnam War, Ms. Jane Fonda or Hanoi Jane as she is commonly called. It seems to me that these big shot celebrities like to create a mess by stirring the pot the wrong way, this ensues they won't fall from the lime light. Well phooey on them.

Being an American gives you the right to free speech, freedom to worship, right to free a free press, right to bear arms etc. It does not give you the right to be a traitor, and inciting more hatred for our people who are risking their lives, and dying so that you and oppressed people around the world will be free. It is comparable to spitting in the face of your mother/father.

Is Mr. Moore an American? If he is not then he really needs to keep his yap shut. If he is he still needs to keep his yap shut. Instead of brow beating the people with mindless lies.

My solution is giving hime life liberty and the pursuit of happiness, on a remote island out in the pacific ocean. He would be co habitating with all the other frauds, criminals, homosexuals, and (no offence intended to anyone) CLOWNS. They can live out their lives murdering, lying, stealing, and raping each other to their hearts content.

here is my proposed habitat for the individuals.

it is an intersting place, nice tropical weather, and the goverment alredy owns the land. The chemicals there should be benificial to them.

Well I gotta go rant somewhere else.

20  Prayer / Prayer Requests / Need some prayer for strength on: August 18, 2004, 09:03:19 AM
Been awhile since I've posted anything and I certinaly didn't want to start out asking for help.

My wife needs prayer for a quick recovery from a recent surgery on her knee. The surgery went well and she is doing great, but a bit on the down side since she can't do much. I hate to hear her sob about being temporarily crippled.

I need strength to follow through with confronting my doctor about some health issues that have been dismissed in the past. I have been able to endure this pain/discomfort for 6 yrs now, but am losing the battle. Something is wrong with me and I don't know what. Military doctors are not the best people to go see about anything. If you complain to much your a faker, and if you don't complain and it gets serious then your a fool for not saying anything. I am trying to get seen by my Doctor, but the appointment books are filled...another fine military decision SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS ONLY. I feel that if I had a regular civilian doctor I would have been taken seriously a long time ago.

I am concerned/scared that my persistance may get me medicaly discharged. Thats part of the reason I haven't pushed sooner. With a wife and 3 children to support I could take some pain. Not anymore. I'm not even 30 yet and I hurt like my Dad who is 58. (we talk about it alot).

The only thing new to me that may have triggered this was a certin series of vaccinations (anthrax). Maybe I am looking for a logical reason for my ailments, but it all started after those shots, and upon further investigation my problems fall into the reactions catagory.

I am running head long into a brick wall lined with lead. I need a helmet and a jack hammer. If you can spare a prayer my wife and I could use them.

Love

I've been gaming for near 18 yrs now. I was gaming when the whole D&D witchunt was going on here in the states. My Mom flipped her wig when she realized that I was playing that "EVIL SATANIC GAME"... Wow that was intense, of course I am a prankster so me showing up with a cloak on at dinner didn't help any. I eventually convinced her that it was no more evil than watching TV.

Since I've been married I have played off and on for 10 years. It is hard to have a play group in the military, since people come and go so much.

My wife encourages me to go gaming. She has sat down with me at a few sessions, got confused at the rules and "funny" dice. She knows I enjoy it, and has given me many kitchen passes to go play. Of course when we do finally get together to play we start friday afternoon and I leave at 4 in the mornig so I can spend the day chasing my kids around.

By its self it is harmless, if it rules your life it interfeers with your walk with Christ. Once in a great while, is no problem. It is good socializing, and is better than going out carousing with a bunch of booze hounds.

but thats my 2 cents
22  Entertainment / Television / Re:Wife Swapping Show on: June 16, 2004, 03:50:29 PM
My wife and I talked about the concept of that show the other night when we first heard about it. She is a reality show watcher, so her comments didn't suprise me much.

"Wow now that is reality TV. Just think of all the conflicts that will cause. I wonder if the will actually 'Swap' wives?"

I gave her the dumbest most retarded look I could muster up.  Roll Eyes"Woman are you stupid, or were you dropped on your head? I mean good gravy don't you see what TV has become? It is eroding away everything you and I stand for. It has no educational merit, unless your queer, and it holds very little moral fiber. You have played into the hands of the networks, and become a mindless larve that they feed nonsense to. Just go look in our bathroom, I see costly new beauty products that you never bought before, you are always talking about getting a new vehicle, your turning into a mindless consumer. So from now on I forbid you to even mention reality TV to me, cause it makes me feel stupid just hearing about it."

Needless to say as with any argument if the word stupid is mentioned, the debate before and after that word is forgotten. Now she is "stupid". I couldn't for the life of me explain to her that she was acting stupid, and not actually stupid. I guess in her mind there is no differance.

Oh well, life goes on. Another perfectly good rant wasted on deaf ears because I used stupid to grab attention.

I also found out on the next series of debate about similar topics "are you retarded" was just as ineffective.

I guess I need to dust off my debate books from my days of being on the HS debate team. I vaguely remember something about not making your aurgument too personal.

But if the shoe fits the foot.

I love my wife but, her TV habits stink. Could explain why I stay out in my garage. Wink

What a show, classic monsters revamped with good special effects. It was strange seeing them in such a hodge podge, but the special effects were good.

It did seem to miss something that kept me rivited to my seat, but I can't figure out what the missing element was. I definatly wouldn't take my kids to see it, just for the scary aspect.

What about rats and mice.... roaches?  termites.... ants? mosquitoes?  Are they not God's creatures? Then they should be left to their own devices right?

Just wanted to stir the pot a little....

As far as squirrels, they are evil and all need to die.

JudgeNot,

My Dad is still struggling with his commitment.... Still praying for him. It means alot that you remembered Smiley

I have been reading the scriptures provided from everyone about my plight. I feel like I am being called to something else, but I don't know what. My perspective has changed about what I do for a living.

Apparently there are a few people out there who don't know about my journey in Christ ( they sent me private messages). I have been saved for a year now, and I will never turn back. If you want the sorrid details look at my previous posts... I don't want to bore those who know already.

I talked to an old Marine who served during Korea (bless him and his kind). He understood what I was going through, and we prayed together. I still worry about if I am doing right. It is scary... If you've served I'm sure you'll understand.

I thank you all.

Love,

Jim

A little background information on me first... I am a NCO in the USAF. I have proudly served for 11 yrs now. I have been in some pretty strange places, and I have launched fully loaded Bombers out against "targets". A week after 9-11 I finished mobilizing my unit and sent them off to a overseas location. I had to stay back (not by choice). I have been actively involved with the war effort ever since. I can't imagine what my counterparts go through in the Army or the Marines, but sometimes I get to wondering. I know I have helped kill men. I put that Bomber combat ready. I filled the fuel tanks so it could make it. I fixed the gizmo that would keep it from flying. I've packed up the gear to prepare my buddies for war. I've worked long hours so that those 4 men in the crew station could carry that bird to hell and back. It bothers me sometimes. I've never seen combat, nor do I desire to see it. If called to do it I would, but I don't want to. I see my children playing and laughing, I sit on this computer talking to y'all, I drive my big old 78 Lincoln, I play my Xbox with my kids, I like cheesburgers and milkshakes, and I spend hours out in the shop or my yard on the weekends. I am a normal guy, until I put on my Camo uniform. I then transition to being a NCO, it is starting to bother me. I love my country, I proudly serve her. I am living my dream since I was a kid. I feel I have earned the right to be an American. I just wonder if I have done right.

To those who have served before me and with me, I give to you my deepest thanks.

I am doing some good soul searching that I know is being directed from up above. So I ask of you to give me your thoughts, help me with some scripture.

We both enjoy cuddling on the couch and watching a suspense filled scary movie, late at night after the kids have gone to bed. We don't neccesarily care for blood and gore (we can get that from the news), but a good thriller hits the spot.

My wife bought Cold Creek Manor the other day from the previously viewed rack at the local video store. Neither one of us had seen it, but she took a chance. It stares Harrison Ford, and Sharon Stone.

Basic story line.... city folk move from city to country.... buy house from bank that was taken during foreclosure... previous owner shows up, straight from jail..... previous owner terrorizes city folk.... previous owner had dumped his familiy in an old well before prison.... city folk outsmart previous owner, and kill him... the end

How do I put it nicely... LAME. Considering this movie was based in New York it kind of makes sense, especially with their gun laws in the city. When the Previous owner shows up IN THE HOUSE, Harrison just asks "can I help you?".. In the Great State of Texas (especially my house) all the previous owner would hear would be "SHINK SHUNK(chambering a shell in the ole boom stick) GET ON YOUR KNEES HANDS BEHIND YOUR HEAD!!!!" so the movie would've lasted maybe 10 minutes...

It just seemed too pansy a movie... unrealistic... just more hollywood brainwashing saying "its ok not to protect yourself, scuzballs have the right to tresspass and scare your familiy before you outwit him without a gun. Its wrong to put an end to the trouble the moment you discover the scuzball in your house"

I hate Hollywood sometimes.
