People in the body go all sorts of ways. What are your thoughts, and why?
I voted "none of the above." I would have voted for grape juice if it didn't have "only" tagged a the end of it. I don't think it matters what it is. It's just symbolic anyways ( do this in remembrance of Me - not do this to Me). But I would stay away from alcohol. Stumbling block reasons of course.

Can we say the "Antichrist's kingdom"?
What scripture tells us of an king antichrist? What scripture tells us of an antichrist with a kingdom? Saved are you telling me you have a scripture that says the antichrsit is a king with a kingdom? Please note the date on the quote. I answered you once about the beast question. I will here again because i dont think i have made myself clear. My point has simply been , this simple, the scriptures say what they say. Only in the little books of John do we read of antichrist and there not as a single person. No king no kingdom witten in john. It is this simple. WHAT is written? Understanding that the beast can be antichrist does not make the beast THEE antichrist according to scripture. A lot of doctrine has been developed using the word 'antichrist' and using it in a way the scripture does not. I was being a bit flipent when posts back i said 'the beast is the beast.' I have not said i know nor have i tried to lay a foundation as to who, what, etc the beast is in this thread. my point has been what do the scriptures say. When John writes of antichrists i do not see metaphors in Gods word. I have found Hitch is in agreement wiht me or viseversa on many points of escotology. I am not going to correct the spelling tonight. We have been on the go. A friend of 25 years has had liver transplant surgery and we have been at the hospital a few days. The marical of GOD can show up through doctors or " out of the blue" I will say Thank you LORD ! A son donated a part of his liver to his mom on 10/1/03 and both are out of ICU! PTL I'll pray for your friend. 2nd, that's my quote, not Saved's. 3rd, we've both answered yes 100 times. If you can't prove us wrong, stop trying.

Mr. 5020,
Thank you for posting this link. Yes, we no longer on the "slippery slope" we are falling off the cliff.
I noticed the poll results indicate that 100% believe that life begins at conception.
My question is "Why do Christians who believe that life begins at conception continue to use abortifacients, such as the pill and the I.U.D.? ( which destroy's life)
Do we practice what we preach?
Psalm 119
Not usually.

Who are your favorite posters on this site? You know the people that, when you see their name on last post, immediately click on the thread to read what they said. Try not to list more than 3.
My favorite 2 are Tibby and Heidi.

Then you haven't been paying attention. I think by now you have noticed that every Christian in this forum disagrees with 90% of what you say. In fact, ebia, you yourself said that non-Christians agree with you. Surely you're not taking the stance that everybody is wrong but you.

I agree that he probably isn't a Christian. In that case, he's probably a tortured soul, either from intense jealousy or low sel-esteem. If you can see him from the perspective of bitter unhappiness, AAAA, you will feel intense sorrow for him rather than be offended by him. I would simply try to stay away from him rather than engage in a power struggle that you're surely going to lose because he is capable of going to lower depths to hurt you than you are to hurt him. If you try to hurt him, it will backfire because he will accuse you of being no better than him. The best way to deal with him is simply to acknowledge, not to him, but just to yourself, just how miserable he is and pray for him. If you acknowledge it to him, then it will only anger him because he will see it as you trying to hurt him. Then you're still playing his game which he obviously loves. Only when you ignore him will he have no reason to continue the game.
GO WITH THE FOOTBALL PLAYERS!!!

Musiclover: no, the analogy between the Giants of old as a reason for the flood and the people that fell/fall away from the faith and wear the mark is enough for me Twobombs, OK now we're on the same page, totally agree. But you have to agree there are some mighty big powers at play here.....only we know is going to win........nay nay nay boo boo...... thank you for setting me straight. Totally agree. Didn't think I'd ever see that at CU.

Link to ArticleExcerpt from article A baby's cry is not necessarily proof of life.
So concluded Illinois Circuit Court Judge Karen Thompson last November when she acquitted a mother previously convicted in two prior trials of murdering her newborn daughter. Does this give you a nasty feeling in your gut? How much longer can pro-choicers push back the "being alive" line?

Do you guys have a football team there. If you do, tell 2 of the biggest lineman you have that so-n-so is picking on you, and let them do the rest. Don't worry. Problem solved.
