721  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Re: Why does the media try to discredit Christianity? on: February 28, 2007, 01:01:47 PM
They are of this world and controlled by the father of lies.  They don't know the truth.  Their job as followers of the devil, is to lead as many as they can to hell.  How sad.
722  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Re: James Cameron launches 'Titanic' assault on Resurrection on: February 28, 2007, 12:48:29 PM
It's amazing how gullible some people are, even some "so-called" Christians who said they were "open" to more "evidence."  What evidence?  Anyone who truly has faith in the Lord will not be dissuaded by the lies perpetrated by those who wish to discredit Christ and the truth of His resurrection.  I couldn't stomach anymore of the blasphemous comments posted on some news websites in response to this lie.  Won't they be surprised one day when they bow to Jesus and confess that He is Lord!  True followers of Christ know that there is no skeleton to be found, because Jesus is alive forever!
723  Entertainment / Politics and Political Issues / Re: More Americans killed by illegal aliens than Iraq war, study says on: February 27, 2007, 10:43:45 PM
This should be on the front page of every newspaper in the country.  Thanks for posting.
724  Entertainment / Politics and Political Issues / Re: It's official: Mexican trucks get unlimited access to U.S. on: February 27, 2007, 10:40:49 PM
Amen, Brother Jerry.  What on earth is our government thinking?  Oh, I forgot, they're not thinking, they're just counting money.  Greed!
725  Entertainment / Politics and Political Issues / Re: Former ACLU Chapter President Arrested for Child Pornography on: February 27, 2007, 10:34:15 PM
I can no longer be surprised by anything involving the ACLU.   I recently sent them an email expressing my disgust with their organization.  They are an absolute disgrace!  I told them that they should change their name because they are anti-Christ and anti-American.  Thank you for the info.
726  Prayer / Answered Prayer / Re: Praying for the USA on: February 27, 2007, 10:21:37 PM
I think we all need to constantly pray for the USA.  God has blessed this country in so many ways, but this country has turned its back on the Lord.  Yes, He, and He alone, is in control.  Praise the Lord!
727  Prayer / Answered Prayer / Re: My Dad's Cancer on: February 27, 2007, 10:17:16 PM
Thank you, Pastor Roger.  May God send a special blessing to you.
728  Prayer / Answered Prayer / My Dad's Cancer on: February 27, 2007, 09:32:29 PM
I have been praying for my dad not to suffer.  He was diagnosed several years ago with prostate cancer, had surgery, and everything seemed fine.  Then, a few years ago, in spite of regular medical treatment, his cancer spread to his bones.  Now, he is in the final stages of cancer and it has spread throughout his body.. spine, ribs, skull, all limbs and pelvis.  He has undergone chemotherapy and continues to receive bone infusions each month to try to prevent breakage of his bones.  He had another bone scan last week, of which we received the results today.  It has continued to spread, and really there isn't much the doctors can do other than pain management.

The doctors don't understand why my dad isn't in excruciating pain considering how wide-spread the cancer is.  The doctors may not understand it, but I know that the Lord has answered my prayers.  He, and He alone, is responsible for my dad being able to tolerate his condition.  He still cooks (loves it), drives, goes shopping, etc.  By the way, he is also 77 years old and had a stroke last year.  Oh, what a mighty God we serve!  All I can do is praise Him for all that He has done.

Your prayers are welcome.
729  Fellowship / Just For Women / Re: question for WOMEN on this board? on: February 27, 2007, 09:04:53 PM
I am new here, and this is only my second post, so I didn't answer the poll.  I love discussing the Lord, and I plan to be very active in this forum.   I am always interested in what other women are thinking and feeling, and I look forward to the fellowship.  May God bless all of my sisters here.
730  Welcome / About You! / Greetings From A Newbie on: February 27, 2007, 08:52:54 PM
