Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Re: James Cameron launches 'Titanic' assault on Resurrection

It's amazing how gullible some people are, even some "so-called" Christians who said they were "open" to more "evidence." What evidence? Anyone who truly has faith in the Lord will not be dissuaded by the lies perpetrated by those who wish to discredit Christ and the truth of His resurrection. I couldn't stomach anymore of the blasphemous comments posted on some news websites in response to this lie. Won't they be surprised one day when they bow to Jesus and confess that He is Lord! True followers of Christ know that there is no skeleton to be found, because Jesus is alive forever!

Prayer / Answered Prayer / Re: Praying for the USA

I think we all need to constantly pray for the USA. God has blessed this country in so many ways, but this country has turned its back on the Lord. Yes, He, and He alone, is in control. Praise the Lord!

Prayer / Answered Prayer / My Dad's Cancer
|
on: February 27, 2007, 09:32:29 PM
|
I have been praying for my dad not to suffer. He was diagnosed several years ago with prostate cancer, had surgery, and everything seemed fine. Then, a few years ago, in spite of regular medical treatment, his cancer spread to his bones. Now, he is in the final stages of cancer and it has spread throughout his body.. spine, ribs, skull, all limbs and pelvis. He has undergone chemotherapy and continues to receive bone infusions each month to try to prevent breakage of his bones. He had another bone scan last week, of which we received the results today. It has continued to spread, and really there isn't much the doctors can do other than pain management.
The doctors don't understand why my dad isn't in excruciating pain considering how wide-spread the cancer is. The doctors may not understand it, but I know that the Lord has answered my prayers. He, and He alone, is responsible for my dad being able to tolerate his condition. He still cooks (loves it), drives, goes shopping, etc. By the way, he is also 77 years old and had a stroke last year. Oh, what a mighty God we serve! All I can do is praise Him for all that He has done.
Your prayers are welcome.

I am new here, and this is only my second post, so I didn't answer the poll. I love discussing the Lord, and I plan to be very active in this forum. I am always interested in what other women are thinking and feeling, and I look forward to the fellowship. May God bless all of my sisters here.
