Brothers and Sisters,
First, let me state that I'm posting a feeling, and I don't hint at date setting.
I honestly feel that we are seeing Biblical prophecy unfolding before our very eyes. Many may not recognize it, and many may not believe this. I'm beginning to think that I might live long enough to see considerable unfolding. I can say one thing with absolute certainty - 100% of all Bible prophecy will be fulfilled at God's appointed time.
The fanatical few will become fanatical hordes. I would qualify that statement by saying that I don't believe it is a fanatical few now, nor has it ever been. The POWER OF GOD has held things in check. However, THE RESTRAINER WILL BE REMOVED! It is far past time for us to fervently share the GOOD NEWS OF THE GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD. We need to forget about being politically correct and shout the Gospel from the rooftops.
Love In Christ, Tom

Oklahoma Howdy to DreamWeaver, Brother, thanks for the laughs. I don't even have groaners to reply with. My brothers, kids, and my wife usually keep me supplied with a few jokes, but the well must be dry now. Love In Christ, Tom

WHEW!!! Did I miss something? I thought this was a discussion about a movie, not a condemnation of those who either see it or don't see it. I'm an older person who could probably be labeled a fundamentalist. I don't know what young people call old squares like me, but it really doesn't bother me. I stated an old square's opinion about this movie, but I didn't offer any condemnation about those who would or would not see it. However, it appears the rub may be between two young folks, and that's a shame. I would rather you make fun of me than be angry with each other over a movie. Old squares usually have a habit of stating what they believe to be the blunt truth, and I'm no exception. However, I do know that I'm an old square - I just don't plan to change. PLEASE!! - don't have a stroke or a heart attack over disagreeing on a movie. See it or don't see it. You will have decisions to make that are thousands of times the magnitude of this sooner or later. In the meantime, shake hands and call me an old square. Love In Christ, Tom

You are most welcome. JudgeNot and I were young once, about 40 years ago. Nope! Wrong, wrong, wrong WRONG! Only 39 years ago for me. Oklahoma Howdy to JudgeNot, In fact, the times that I felt most comfortable in were longer than 40 years ago, but I won't say how much longer. JudegeNot, do you ever reflect and feel the shock of the massive changes over the last 50 years? Life was pretty simple and moral then. UM??? Howdy Doody was replaced by Marilyn Manson. Captain Kangaroo was replaced by VH1. I could go on, but I don't want to. We didn't have a television for most of my youth, and when we did, we only watched selected shows several times per week. Kids played outside most of the time and had little chance to become obese. Trouble back then was chewing gum in school, knocking the knee out of your good school clothes, and fighting with siblings. It was a death sentence to back-talk mom. I think that I could return to those days. Love In Christ, Tom

Amen Sincereheart and JudgeNot,
We live in evil and difficult times. I was just thinking about my grandchildren. Part of what they will or won't endure will be more up to their mom and dad, but I will have a hard time not saying something when the time comes. I actually think that my children expect me to and will not think that I'm meddling in their business. We have a pretty open and honest relationship, and I certainly respect their final decisions for their children, regardless of what I may think.
I will say something if their schools want to teach them that wrong is right. In fact, I would borrow money to send them to a Christian school if my children agreed. I feel fortunate knowing that my children will probably agree with everything moral or Biblical. It almost makes me cry to think about what children have to go through in some school systems.
It doesn't bother me at all for folks to laugh at me for being an old fashioned Bible believer.
Love In Christ, Tom

Oklahoma Howdy to BronzeSnake,
AMEN BROTHER!
It's a shame you had to try more than once to post this without being interrupted and challenged by the moral and Biblical bankrupt. Other Christians may wish to learn more and discuss this from a moral and Biblical point of view, and that is going to happen without interruption. I'm sorry that you had to put up with so much to post a simple truth.
Love In Christ, Tom

Oklahoma Howdy to JudgeNot, Brother, I also enjoy showing my appreciation to our young men and women in the Armed Services. As you may know, my home is also the home of a huge military base, Fort Sill. There are graduations of one type or another several times per week, and many parents come here to see their children graduate. It is a matter of pride for your children to serve their country. I always try to say hello, shake their hands, and tell them how much I appreciate them, even on their first passes off the base before graduation. Some of them think that I'm checking to see if they maintain military discipline and come to attention. I guess they may have people that do that, but I just want to be friendly. I remember what it's like to be away from home the first time. With very rare exception, I see them as America's finest, and I'm very proud of them. I'm very happy when I hear that many Christians pray for them every day. I think that every Christian should pray for them and for their leaders who make the decisions. Freedom in CHRIST and living in a free country should never be taken for granted. HAPPY FREEDOM!! Love In Christ, Tom

Ebia,
You want it straight, so here it is. You've always had an argument and a side-step for everything moral or Biblical that is discussed here. You name it, you have an argument against it. The "side-step" I speak of is your attempt to go around the teachings of the Holy Bible in just about every discussion you become involved in. Most of those arguments would be those of an antagonist or an atheist.
Jesus Christ is the only WAY, so all of your "side-steps" are moot and of the devil. Yes, the devil would love for those in Islam to believe they are saved. However, that would be impossible for those practicing Islam, so why even mention it? They either have Jesus Christ in their heart as their personal Lord and Saviour, or they don't.
So, here is your straight answer:
Those practicing Islam are lost and going to hell. Forget the side-steps and tell it like it is.

Oklahoma Howdy to All,
Every day is a good day to reflect on and give thanks for FREEDOM!, especially for a Christian.
I do enjoy praying for our young men and women in the Armed Services who preserve and protect our freedom. I also give thanks for those who have done the same in the past. Our freedom to worship Almighty God is only one of the freedoms that has been preserved.
Above all, I give daily thanks for the FREEDOM IN JESUS CHRIST, our Lord and Saviour.
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. Roman 10:4
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:6
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:21
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Romans 8:14
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thous shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! Romans 11:33
Thanks be unto GOD for HIS unspeakable GIFT!, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour forever!!
Love In Christ, Tom
