Silver Surfer,

There are two Commandments of Jesus Christ, and anything regarding the Sabbath IS NOT among them.

You worship a day.  It is far past time for you to worship a LIVING SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST.

JitC,

You really should spend your time with something you know something about.

I live in a nation that was UNDER GOD, and maybe it will be again some day.

I served under a flag that was dedicated UNDER GOD.

I've been married for over 30 years, and our vows were before GOD and in GOD. My wife and I obeyed our vows before GOD, and GOD has richly blessed us and our family. Our children were raised in the LORD, and the LORD has blessed them. My children are raising children, and they are being raised in the LORD. I strongly believe that they will also live for the LORD and be blessed by the LORD.

I served as a police officer for 25 years, and I dedicated myself to GOD in service. I prayed every day that GOD would give me the strength, courage, and wisdom to serve in a way that would be most pleasing to HIM. YES, I took an oath to serve unto death, and I meant it. I believe firmly that GOD was with me every time I faced life and death. I serve GOD first. I served in law enforcement IN GOD, and I firmly believe that GOD worked through me many times and in many ways for HIS GLORY, not mine. I testified in court thousands of times under oath. I never dreamed of telling a lie and DID TELL THE TRUTH, NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH, SO HELP ME GOD! GOD did help me for 25 years, and I considered myself to be a tool used by GOD.

One should never dedicate anything to GOD unless they mean it sincerely. That would obviously include marriage.

Love In Christ,
Tom

I know 100% God/Jesus exists, show the miracle I recieved and my post gets removed?

I guess I'll move on to other people who want to hear about the Living God.

Hello CrazyJim,

I didn't delete your post, but I do know why it was deleted. Your site contains quite a bit of rough language. I went to your site and determined very quickly why that link is not allowed on Christians Unite. It has nothing to do with advertising.

Oklahoma Howdy To All,

(The Princess)

My oldest grandson is now in a Christian pre-school for three year olds. It's a hoot, and I love it. They sing Christian songs, learn Bible Verses, and do all kinds of healthy things in the LORD.

My daughter formed a car-pool arrangement with another mother so younger children in both homes could stay with their eating and napping schedules half of the week. The other three year old is a little girl who loves to wear pretty dresses with lace and frills.

It's a hoot to hear my rough, all boy, grandson talk to the little girl to and from school. I had to share something from this week. The little girl asked my grandson what he thought about princesses. My grandson replied, They're OK as long as they're boys.   Grin

Sincereheart,

Sister, many sweet Christians like you make it a joy to help Christians Unite. The Gospel of God's Grace is here for hosts of searchers to read. This is made possible by every Christian on the forum in a group effort. Joy is the pay check, and the retirement plan is out of this world.

yadda ~ Whatever...  I still don't know if I am going to vote or not.  My vote don't count anyways....    Embarrassed

vote Vote VOTE! Vote for W! Did you know that a large number of Christians don't vote? If every Christian went out there and voted, we would have drastically different results. Don't say that your vote doesn't count! Too many people say that! Enough people say that and don't vote, and it ends up counting! So vote Vote VOTE! I would if I could!

Oklahoma Howdy to Yoyostick,

I consider it to be a duty to vote. Realistically, if I don't take the time to vote, I shouldn't be allowed the time to complain. Some Christians are misinformed by those who twist Scriptures and say that Christians should not vote, hold public office, be police officers, be school teachers, etc. I believe that the exact opposite is true and Biblical. Christians should never sit down, shut up, or otherwise fail to stand up for JESUS. I feel that we deny HIM with silence.

There never will be a presidential candidate who will be even close to measuring up to Biblical teachings, morals, values, and ethics. In this election there is no comparison between the two candidates - NOT EVEN CLOSE. One is an imperfect Christian, and nobody knows who the other one is. One does have a record of trying to be a Christian, and the other has a record of standing against everything Christians hold dear.

I would ask every Christian to pray about this, register to vote, AND GO VOTE!!

Love In Christ,
Tom

Brothers an Sisters,

I'm on a diet, so I just found out a BIG list of weaknesses:

Cheese and other diary products, especially ice cream.
Peanuts, cashews, and almonds.
Bacon and other fatty meats.
Sugar and more sugar.
Fried foods.
Bread.
Potatoes.
______________________________

However, I have found some things that are really good and legal:

Lean, skinless meats that are broiled, grilled, or baked without oils. Chicken breast with lemon pepper is now one of my favorites. Believe it or not, lean hamburger cooked correctly is good for you. Turkey and some types of fish have also become favorites.

I replaced some of the tastes that I really enjoy with spices instead of the fat and carb loaded additives that are normally used during or after cooking. I discovered garlic has a very pleasant taste when used in small quantities. It is possible to have good tasting food without all of the fat and carbs.

It appears that potatoes are my biggest weakness. I can have them a couple of times a week, but they have to be baked or boiled and without the butter, sour cream, cheese, and bacon bits. They are really pretty good just plain, with some garlic salt and lemon pepper. BUT, I look at them and imagine butter, sour cream, and all of the trimmings piled on.   Cheesy

Oklahoma Howdy to twinkledust007,

WELCOME BACK!!! I'm glad to hear that things are going so well for you in school. Reference searching for the occupation that will make you happy, everyone goes through that. That's a difficult time in anyone's life. There are all kinds of tests that you could take to determine your aptitude for various fields, but they probably wouldn't answer the big question - What will make you happy? I would tell you to take your time and pray about it.

I hope this helps some.

POW Featured in Documentary Labels Kerry as 'Traitor'

by Chad Groening
September 17, 2004

(AgapePress) - A former Air Force pilot who spent almost eight years in a North Vietnamese prisoner-of-war camp says John Kerry's anti-war activities helped extend the amount of time he was incarcerated by the Communists -- and encouraged the Communist regime to prolong the war.

Smitty Harris
(Compliments of StolenHonor.com)
Smitty Harris, who now resides in Tupelo, Mississippi, is one of 17 former POWs who was interviewed for Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal, a video that investigates how John Kerry's actions during the Vietnam War impacted the treatment of American soldiers and POWs. Their combined time spent in prison during the war amounts to more than 109 years. Harris, who was a POW from April 1965 to February 1973, says he has come forward to tell his story now because he does not think the Massachusetts senator should be America's next Commander-in-Chief.

The Democratic presidential hopeful, says Harris, "helped extend my incarceration in North Vietnam" through his well-documented anti-war activities made after returning stateside. "I would label him, personally, as a traitor," the former POW adds.

Kerry has made his service in Vietnam the leitmotif of his presidential campaign -- to which Harris responds: "People say, 'Well, he served in Vietnam, honorably, got all those medals.' Well, that's questionable -- but let's take it on face value that he did. So did Benedict Arnold, the great general."

And like his comrades who appear in Stolen Honor, Harris says Kerry made things very difficult for Americans staying at "The Hanoi Hilton."

"[Kerry] was still in the inactive reserve when he was making those libelous statements to Congress in April of 1971. That's enough for a court martial right then and there,." Harris shares. "And his dealing with the enemy, Madame Vinh in Paris, while we were still at war and while he was still a member of the armed forces, was also traitorous."

It is that testimony before Congress that Harris claims gave the enemy the confidence that they could ultimately win the war. "They had a long history of just wearing out any foreign forces, but they were just given more encouragement by people like John Kerry," he says.

Harris credits Kerry with having more impact on prolonging the war -- and giving aid to the enemy -- than even "Hanoi Jane" Fonda and former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark. He says his captors "virtually told" the prisoners the North Vietnamese could not match the military might of the U.S., but that "they would win the war because they would win it in the streets of the United States."

"He had probably more impact than anyone else that I can imagine ...on prolonging the war and giving encouragement to our communist enemies to continue their struggle," Harris says.

The 45-minute documentary Stolen Honor, released on Thursday, features a group of highly decorated veterans, two of whom are Medal of Honor recipients. It was produced by Carlton Sherwood, himself a decorated Vietnam veteran as well as a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist.
