JitC,
You won't be able to get married or do quite a few other things until you understand this portion of Scripture. It simply DOES NOT mean what you think it does, NOT EVEN CLOSE.

Hi, I'm new here.
How about this. You all are wasting your lives for something that may not even exist. No, I am not "saved" and I don't intend to ever consider myself "saved" again. I'd rather not pull off of other's ideas and not grow in any way at all. Trust me, it's a waste of time.
Farrer
Hello Farrer, I see this is your first post, so WELCOME!! Jesus is quite real, you just don't know him. I've known Jesus for over 50 years. Jesus loves my entire family, and we love Him. Jesus is just as real as you are. Would you like to meet Jesus? Tom

A man took his wife deer hunting, they decided to split up to improve their chances of finding a deer. The man explained to his wife that the woods were full of dishonest hunters who might try to claim her deer if she managed to kill one. In case this happened, she should fire her rifle into the air three times, to summon him for assistance. They went their separate ways, and soon he heard a shot, followed by three quick shots. He followed the direction of the sound, and found his wife holding a man at gunpoint. She said "It was just like you told me, I killed this deer fair and square and this man says its his." The husband pointed his rifle at the stranger, who placed his hands in the air and said "She's welcome to keep it, but I would like to get my saddle back."

Two Aggies were involved in a car accident, and both survived. One was thrown completely off the roadway into a pasture. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident. One was thrown through the windshield of the other vehicle. He was charged with breaking and entering. One groan deserves another one.

Marv,
The vast majority of folks could care less about a college fraternity 30+ years ago. If they did, I guess they would have to rule out voting for both, Kerry or Bush. It's a moot issue. If you wish to make it an issue, vote for someone else. To say that they have Geronimo's skull is ridiculous and juvenile. I can drive to Geronimo's grave site in a matter of minutes. Geronimo walked the streets of my home town, and all of him is still buried. All of this distortion is simply another example of a juvenile college fraternity. Don't vote for either of them if this childish stuff bothers you.
For me, the same is true of military records. If not, I would ask for Kerry to be tried as a traitor and giving aid and comfort to the enemy. However, this is a moot issue for me.
There is more than enough recent records and statements of the candidates themselves to make an informed decision. Some might want to know if the candidates cheated while playing marbles in their single digit years, but I could care less. Those who do look all the way back to childhood won't be voting for Kerry. Concentrating on the distant past for Kerry is an ugly picture. However, that might be his best picture.

Symphony Said:
Anyway, if you really have those kinds of powers, you wouldn't need to sell your services. Symphony, You are completely correct. I was just reflecting on putting the palm readers and fortune tellers out of business in my community. That's all against the law here. Some got around it by doing it free and accepting donations. That's legal, depending on what they mention about a donation. There are many stories in the Holy Bible that relate to this topic. I've read stories about police departments using psychics to solve major crimes, and I think that a question was asked about this. The vast majority of the police department I served with were Christians, and we would have never considered using a psychic. As far as I'm concerned, that would be like asking the devil who did it. We did the opposite and prayed to Almighty God for guidance and wisdom to do our jobs for the people in a way that would be most pleasing to HIM. Love In Christ, Tom

Silver Surfer,
A Christian's rest and peace is in JESUS, 24/7. If you wish to remain in a prison with all of the doors unlocked, go right ahead. Don't be shocked when nobody wishes to join you. Jesus freed all of those who have accepted HIM as Lord and Saviour. Your penalty was paid for by Jesus in full.
JESUS CHRIST is Lord over all days, hours, minutes, and seconds. I am free IN HIM, and I love every second of it. I will NOT accept your invitation to prison, and nobody else will either. You speak for Moses, NOT JESUS. You might be saved - I don't know. If so, leave prison and walk with JESUS 24/7. If not, many sweet Christians here would love to share JESUS with you.
Love In Christ, Tom

Oklahoma Howdy to All,
I apologize for some messed up subject lines in recent posts. That happened while trying to deal with several banned users. I have fixed the subject lines.
There are some people who can commit murder with no guilt or remorse at all. They are called psychopaths. I've met quite a few of these folks in police work, and they are thankfully rare.
Normal people suffer guilt and other emotional problems for the rest of their lives when they commit murder. If you are wondering, those who do abortions and those who have abortions do suffer these emotions for the rest of their lives. It really doesn't matter that abortion is currently legal and involves an accepted medical procedure. The only way to avoid the guilt and emotional problems would be to have a brain transplant at the same time. Otherwise, there is no amount of logic or medical terms to avoid the reality of murder. Yes, there is pain and guilt for all involved in abortion, and there should be. It's simply a natural process for anyone with a heart and conscience.

Marv,
From what little I know about Skull and Bones, it appears to be something silly and childish Kerry and Bush did WAY BACK in college. It was and is a college fraternity.
If potential candidates for President were judged for everything they did in their teens, I doubt we would be able to find any worthy candidates.
However, there is a massive amount of information to look at that involves recent actions, those of an adult. Words from their own mouths in recent years is more than enough for me. Then, one adds their recorded actions in recent years, and it makes a picture album they each made for themselves without any help from anyone. I doubt that anyone needs the distortion from grossly biased news media.
I doubt that I will pay much attention to what happened 30+ years ago. If I did, I would wind up with two words: Hanoi John. Kerry made a huge mistake in trying to make folks think about 30+ years ago. The election should be about the here and now, but that looks even worse for Kerry. Kerry's biggest and most difficult debate is with himself. If this wasn't about the office of President, Kerry could get paid big bucks for comedy. Kerry can play himself, and nobody knows who he is or what he stands for.
Tom
