"I pledge that those who wore the uniform of the United States of America will have a voice and a champion in the Oval Office."
John Kerry - New Hampshire Primary
My Note: 14 Swift Boat Veterans agree with the above statement. 254 Swift Boat Veterans say that John Kerry is a fraud and "Unfit for Command." I wonder what will be done to silence them.

"[American military personnel in Vietnam] personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, [blew] up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to...the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country."
John Kerry - 1971 - Congressional Testimony
"There are all kinds of atrocities and I would have to say that, yes, yes, I committed the same kind of atrocities as thousands of other soldiers have committed...."
John Kerry - 1971 - To the news media after his testimony before Congress.
My Note: At the time, John Kerry was known as "Hanoi John". Now he wants to become the Commander In Chief. There should be NO wonder or amazement that many Vietnam Veterans want to be heard.

"Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real...."
John Kerry - January 2003
My Note: Forget the above quote and take your pick of several other positions, his current position, or the position the polls or politics will create for him tomorrow, next week, or a month from now.

"The first priority is the economy of our nation. And when you have a downturn in the economy, the last thing you do is raise taxes or cut spending. We shouldn't do either. We need to maintain a course that hopefully will stimulate the economy.... No, we should not raise taxes, but we have to put everything on the table to take a look at why we have this structural problem today. ...you don't want to raise taxes."
John Kerry - September 2001
"I will roll back Bush's tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans to invest in education and healthcare." John Kerry - September 2004
My Note: Is this socialism? Who's going to buy equipment, open new businesses, and create new jobs? Who's going to help the already struggling businesses around the country? Who pays taxes when these businesses go under and bankrupt?

"I'm opposed to the death penalty in the criminal justice system because I think it's applied unfairly."
Johny Kerry
My Note: What about the millions of innocent babies who have been and are being murdered? John Kerry is the strongest supporter of legalized abortions. He's already said that pro abortion will be a litmus test for any judge he appoints as President. He's already said that he will protect Roe vs. Wade at all costs. He's also fought for a juvenile's right to abortion without parental notice or consent. Should Christians be concerned that taxpayer dollars already pay for many abortions?

"I think the debate over same-sex marriage is getting hung up over the word 'marriage,' and I don't want anything to stand in the way of providing gay men and lesbians full and equal protections under the law."

Brothers and Sisters,
I think that all GLORY goes to God. This beautiful thread is a blessing, and it does give all GLORY to God.
I love the mirror analogy. I do want God to use me for HIS GLORY, so I must pray that God helps me clean and repair my mirror daily.

Brothers and Sisters,
I am happy and I know it. In fact, Christians should be the happiest people. ________________________
(Psalms 100:1) <A Psalm of praise.> Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
(Psalms 100:2) Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
(Psalms 100:3) Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
(Psalms 100:4) Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
(Psalms 100:5) For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. ________________________

Brothers and Sisters, YEAH EVERYONE!!! I think that everyone here are winners, especially those who have faith in our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ! I was just studying a beautiful message by Jemidon2004 (Joshua). The theme was trust in Jesus Christ bringing peace. I'm also reflecting on many other beautiful messages by the sweet Christians here. I give thanks for you providing so many beautiful messages to study. I've been thinking for the last week about all the guests we have who obviously read the posts here. They might not ever become members of Christians Unite, but I pray they find what they are searching for here. Many of the guests are probably lost, but some may be Christians looking for strength in difficult times. Many of you are making posts specifically for the lost, and I give thanks for your efforts. It's a fact that those same posts can and will strengthen those who already trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. I want to thank you and tell you that I love you. God is using you, and God is using Christians Unite. All GLORY goes to God, and we can joyfully say: Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable Gift, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour forever! Love In Christ, Tom

From: The Federalist Patriot For undecided voters (and anyone who thinks John Kerry is fit for command): Perhaps the most instructive question that can be asked regarding the upcoming presidential election is this: Given the chance, would Saddam Hussein, Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi, Osama bin Laden, Kim Jong-Il, Mohammad Khatami, Moammar al-Ghadafi and Hu Jingtao vote for A) George Bush, or B) John Kerry? How would Jacques Chirac, Gerhard Schroeder and Kofi Annan vote? If you answered "B," put a big shiny star by your name. Now -- for whom (and with whom) are YOU voting? oh my gosh...you guys, come on! You can not tell me that only two people on this site support Kerry. Whether more people are willing to admit it or not...not all Christians support Bush and you know it. It's not a sin to vote for Kerry, and *plenty* of good Christians are.
Saved_byChrist, I'm hoping and praying that 2 Christians voting for Kerry in the entire country will be the limit. Love In Christ, Tom

you know you guys over in america seem to get about as much spin as we do on what you read...
Kalthzar, There isn't much spin about 9-11 and Americans being killed around the world. There isn't much spin about how the people of Israel live and die every day. That's the reality of terrorism. There isn't much spin about innocent men, women, and children being kill around the world. That's the reality of terrorism. Tom
