It's been a long time.....

I have posted before about endometriosis. I have had a few surgeries - the last one being 4 years ago to get pregnant. Lately, I have had an burning, like indigestion in my lower stomach, I went for an gyn exam and he said I needed another surgery. I have never had bloating and lower stomach burning as a symptom before. It feels like it would be an ulcer but ulcer pain is above the belly button (so I hear). Has anyone had similar symptoms? I would just like to get some imput before I go under again.

We (my husband and I) got custody of my step son about 3 years ago. His mom is in and out of jail constantly (which puts him on such an emotional roller coaster).
Riely is like my own son - He loves his mother very much and it's so hard to see how he hurts everytime she goes back in. She is getting out again in January. Please pray for God's will in our lives and for protection on my son's life.

That sounds so tough. I would just surround yourself with as many positive influences as possible. Church and support groups are great! For anyone, it is so hard to stay positive when all you have is negativity around you, it consumes you and makes you someone your not. Try and be around godly friends and influences. Keep praying, girl! God will get you through this.

He is actually doing pretty good this week. The funeral was rough for everyone. He helped everyone out so much with friendship, knowledge and business. Allot of people gave speeches and couldn't even get through them without losing it. I was a mess - even though he wasn't my best friend, I knew him for 18 years and the whole thing was just so sad....
Kind of crazy though, he was Jewish and converted like a month before his aneurysm....isn't that weird?

Oh LisaR, I am so sorry. I will pray for your husband. I am married to a non-believer who is easily addicted to allot of things (alcohol, gambling). It is very frustrating, but I can't imagine going through that. How heart breaking. If he is willing to change, get rid of the computer all together. THROW THE THING AWAY!!! It might stink to have to write checks again but if it works who cares? We got along just fine without them 100 yrs ago, if you need one for work, get a lap top and bring it with you wherever you go.
 It is hard to submit to your husband especially when you are so hurt and angry. I am sure you have done this but try praying over him while he is sleeping. I will pray for you, God can move mountains.

Thank you all for your prayers. He had a 7 hour surgery and it was successful. Now all we do is wait, but so far everything looks good. We just have to pray that he doesn't have a stroke or any clotting.....

My husband and I have been kind of struggling financially and I have decided to go back to work full time. I have thought about going back to my old job but the past two years I have been in the insurance industry (working part-time)and am licensed and I don't want to lose that - besides I have worked really hard with all the tests. On the other hand being a mother comes first...So confused.
I know allot of this doesn't make sense. Just pray for me to make the right decision as a mother and for my family's finances.
