I live in Georgia and we got a jar of that bad peanut butter. It made us all very sick. Not deathly ill just unpleasantly ill. Without trying to sound insulting let's just say we were burning our candles at both ends.   
My husband took it back & got our money back.
But we're better now with no real bad effects except some time lost from work.

I watched the protest on TV and was appalled at what I saw.

But what was the most disturbing was Tim Robbins yelling into the microphone "... we reject the God that Bush prays to ..." and it was then that I realized that this was in actuallity a protest against Christianity cloaked as a war protest. And Jesse Jackson, who had just quoted scripture, stood on the podium with them shaking his head yes.

I knew that the Christian symbols of Christmas were under attack but I never thought that the attacks on Christianity would become so blatant.

I am an intercessor at my church but there have been things happening that have produced alot of discouragement. I'm talking overwhelming discouragement. It's been like a wall I've been hitting my head on that I can't crumble no matter what I do and I'm not the only one this is happening to.
This article has helped me to begin to understand the why and how of it all and is very encouraging to me.
Now that I have a better idea of what's happening the how to intercede is clearer.
I'm so glad that our God is a loving God and keeps His Hand on us.
Keep your intercessors covered in prayer.

Battle of the Bulge
A friend of mine likens where we are to the Battle of the Bulge. This battle was an intense counter offensive launched by Hitler in WW II - after D Day, when it looked like the Allies had won the war, Hitler tried one final, desperate onslaught to turn the tide. This caught the Allies by surprise and, though we eventually defeated Hitler's armies, was for a season demoralizing and very costly to us. Likewise today, an intense counter offensive has been orchestrated from Hell to pull down President Bush and derail the destiny of America. This whirlwind of darkness over America is bringing great national confusion and is causing paralysis even in the praying church.
I have sensed this strong confusion in both the civil and spiritual realms, from leaders on down. It is strong in Washington D.C. - godly governmental leaders know things are in disarray and that something is desperately wrong, but also say that nothing seems to work when it comes to reversing it. Spiritual leaders also know things are not right - that we have lost momentum and that anti-Christ forces seem to be prevailing - but no one seems to know what to do about it. My friend Lou Engle, in a recent prayer alert said, "Wherever I go, I can feel the attitude of resignation, criticism and despair."

The Spirit of Babylon
Chuck Pierce, another friend and internationally trusted prophet connected our desperate condition to the war in Iraq: "the spirit of Babylon is slapping us around." Iraq is modern day Babylon. Babylon means "confusion," which is obviously one of the results of this spiritual war. America's armies had no problem taking out Saddam's physical army, but we are now dealing with an ancient principality, the spirit of Babylon, which cannot be defeated with natural weapons and strategies. This spirit is currently, though I believe it not be permanently, prevailing against us. As previously stated, the symptoms of confusion and disarray can be seen in the church, on our president and in the nation in general.

THE SCREAMING EAGLES MUST ARISE

Hitler personally orchestrated the Battle of the Bulge. I believe Satan is personally orchestrating his forces in the battle against Bush and the church of America. God is calling the "SCREAMING EAGLES OF INTERCESSION" to take our stand and win the air war in the heavenlies, stopping the enemy's advance. Like the Screaming Eagles of yesterday, we can write a history of commitment, bravery, self-sacrifice and victory. "The future itself, in whose molding we expect to have our share, is in the hands of" the church. Satan says we can't win, I say "Nuts!" We can win this war against terrorism and for the soul of America, but only in the spirit.. If we don't do so, the greater sin won't be our president's but ours - the church of America.
If this word rings true in your heart, pass it on - and PRAY! Pray in church services; hold special prayer meetings; fast and pray; send a prayer team to Washington, D.C. to pray; pause at family gatherings to pray; pray at home groups. Pray, pray, pray.
Let's do our part and win this war.

Even now when I even think of this song it brings tears to my eyes.
When my husband's cousin commit suicide I prayed for his wife and family and would sing this song in my prayers.
It was as though I could feel the healing and comfort flowing out of my towards them.
I am so blessed to know that I can always find peace in Jesus Christ. He is so wonderful.

How wonderful that God would bless you with in such a special way.
I'm glad to be a born again, blood washed, redeemed child of God.
I was so stupid to reject Him for so many years. But I'm thankful that our Savior loves us enough to persue us.
Now I can't even imagine life without Him. There's nothing that could replace the assurance I have knowing that I am in the palm of His Hand and that He cares for me.

Why would it matter if you are considered Jewish or not? For those of us that have accepted Christ as our Saviour we are all a child of His whether we are Jewish or Gentile.

For Jews that have accepted Christ, they are a Christian. If you are accepted Christ, you are a Christian, and still a child of God. So you don't need to worry about this Baxley. As with all of Gods children, He loves you.

You are all right, ofcourse. I don't know why I was so concerned with this. I guess really I have come to the time in my life when I'm feeling sort of left out. This feelings are completely of the flesh, I guess. I am middle aged and sometimes feel abandoned, I guess, even though I know I am not. Just silly, I guess.

It's just that the Jewish people such a rich heritage that I would love to learn more about. I think it has something to do with the fact that, as a born again Christian, I - we - who are the wild grapes, are now grafted onto the vine and become co-heirs with Christ. We become spiritual Jews. And what a richness we become heirs to.

Someone told me once that when Jewish people adopt children the children, no matter that background or nationality, become Jewish. There is no distinction. I've heard people say - this is my son/daughter but he/she is adopted - which actually causes a kind of separation as though they were saying you are my child but not really. But in the Jewish faith there is no distinction. The adopted children are no longer considered adopted but fully their children.
And that is how God feels towards us. We are truly His, co-heirs with Christ, and there is no distinction of adoption - as though we were, and are, blood heirs.

What an absolutely awesome thought!!!! We are heirs with Christ!!! How blessed we are!!!!

I hope this is the right place to put this but I have a question to ask. I am truly hoping it can be answered.

Ok, my great-grandparents were Jewish which, ofcourse, meant that my grandfather was Jewish.
He married an gentile woman and they had two children one which was my mother.
My mother always said she was not Jewish.
But I have recently learned that through Reform Judaism she was.

On the internet I found this website about Reform Judaism that states the following"
"... in 1983 it was decreed that a child of either a Jewish mother or a Jewish father should be regarded as a Jew."

With that statement I could be considered Jewish even though I have never been raised in the Jewish faith.

Can I please get some feedback on this so I can understand more?

I've been reading her 'Sons of Encouragement' series. There will be a total of 5 books but right now she only has 3 books available. They are about the men who stand in the backgroud of the great men of God.

Her first book was called 'The Priest' about Aaron, brother of Moses.
Currently I am reading 'The Warrior' about Caleb, friend of Joshua.
Her third book is called 'The Prince' about Jonathan, friend of King David.
I'm looking forward to reading the others when they become available.

They are very good and very thought provoking.

I just bought a CD by this group. I think the CD is called ALIVE and it was recorded live in South Africa. The cover has a map of Africa and Israel Houghton's face is in the map only it keeps changing back and forth from his face to a lion depending on how you hold it.
The music is upbeat but really good. The music leader at my church said that she went to see him at Lakewood in Florida one time and that he is very anointed.
I'm not promoting his CD just passing on what a blessing this album has been for me.

I am very glad to be a part of this website.
Let me give you just a brief history of myself.
It will sound very familiar.

I was a wretched person always looking for that certain something to make me fill whole.
Then one Sunday I attended a Charimatic Church with my husband and I was shocked.
Never had I ever seen people worship with their hands raised and seemed so very happy.
There was a banner hanging to the side of the altar that read 'JESUS IS LORD'. I had never heard that before.
When I looked away from the banner it was on fire so I looked back, but it wasn't on fire.
Everytime I looked away it was burning and glowing, but when I looked back it was perfectly normal. To say the least I was unnerved.
Finally a man got up and began telling all that Jesus had done for him and he was crying tears of joy and rejoicing. This was very different from anything I had ever seen or heard in my life. A man crying tears of happiness of what God had done for him. It brought tears to my eyes.
After church as we were driving home I began to weep and told my husband I wanted what that man had. So he turned the car around and he found the preacher.
I accept Christ in the parking lot and it was for real.
Nothing, absolutely nothing, has ever changed me so profoundly as that had. I was never the same again.
The scripture talks about becoming a new creature in Christ and I am!!!!

That was 20 years ago and have come along way in the Lord.
He is the best most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me.
I rely on Him daily and talk with Him daily.

I AM SO GLAD GOD CHOSE ME !
