BEP, Howdy to you!  I agree with you about not judging one on their past or mistakes of youth.   However, if I understand correctly Mr. Bush has never renounced his association with this society nor has his father.  You are right I do not know the man's heart, so I do pray for him to see the truth of this ungodly society if he hasn't done so already.  Don't get me wrong I thank God that he is the leader  He has put over us at this time.  And I don't question he is a Christian.  It just may be a deceived one.

I think Mr Bush has done a lot of great things for our country.  However I also agree with Jon, being associated with Skull and bones leaves somes BIG questions.

IrishAngel, I didn't mean that we are spiritual Jews I just meant Jews non-believers in Jesus.  Thanks for the web-site, I'll have to investigate it some time.

20  Prayer / General Discussion / Re:Isn't this interference with the Master Plan? on: April 24, 2003, 01:13:22 PM
Lex, You are right,  at times people will be praying the oppisite things for the same situations.  However, the purpose of prayer is not just asking for 'things'.  It is a relationship with the Almighty and with that during prayer we should also spend time listening.  If our prayers are 'off' or our motives are incorrect the Lord will let us know if we take the time to listen to him.

This is a book by Marvin Rosenthal that I've been reading.  Wondering if anyone has read it and your thoughts on his timing for the rapture.

Wren, what a blessing.  I have too many times felt the guilt of not stopping. Cry  Thankfully I have a patient teacher who has cleaned me up, forgiven me and sent me on my way.  To walk in the lessons He has taught me.  And yes, now I stop.

AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!  I couldn't agree more.  It is a sad and terrible thing that a watered down version of the gospel is being preached.  My heart breaks for the body of Christ and the delusion it is under.

2Tim 2:15 ...rightly dividing the word of truth.  This is a subject I've just started to study.  Learning which sciptures were for the new church and which were pertaining to the Jew especially for the Jew at the end of the age.  Some of the scipture above was spoken to the Jew and not the new church.  I'm sure there is someone else on this forum who understands this better then I.

Pilgrim,  thanks for your post.  I've enjoyed reading all the responses.  I was especially grateful for the Heb 6:4.  This verse has always confused me and just today I listened to a teaching on the very same explanation for that verse!  God is good.
