Hi Angelica. It's going about the same with my daughter but I will not give up!! prayer works! I did invite her to my church because we just built a new building, and I have painted the nursery which I know that she wants to see so, what better reason to come?    she will hopefully come to the building to see the paintings and then attend the service as well. God willing that will happen! With so many people praying God can't lose right?

Thank you Bronzesnake for you message, and for this website. I am going to go onto it myself first, then when my daughter and I get together, I will know what I'm talking about. When she was younger, she went to church (I didn't) with a friend of hers. When I spoke to her about it, she told me that she only went because they had a pool table in the basement and she wanted to play that. Not go to the services. I was a little surprised at that of course but I am assuming that she must have heard some of what was being taught right? she was after all inside God's House and even though not in the same area, some of what was said must have gone down to where she was. Please pray for my daughter Amanda who is claiming that she is athiest! I am a young christian of four years. (her mom).
I pray for her, I also have friends who are praying for her and thought that I would try here as well. PLEASE! I know the power of prayer works miracles! I have seen it happen many times. She refuses to talk about anything when it refers to the Bible, prayer, or church. All I can do is pray for her since I can't force her to believe. I know it must come from her heart. Hi everyone. Last week I became a member of these forums and just said hi. Today I would like to tell you some about myself. I am 42 years old and a single mother of two, a daughter who is 20 and a son who is 13. Four years ago I became a born again Christian and my life has turned around so completely! I attend a Church of Christ in Alberta, Canada that felt like home as soon as I walked in the door. They have been such a blessing in my life.
