I am glad you are better.  Begin to reach out to others.  As we reach out to meet the  needs of others we help ourselves.  Even if it is just a word of encouragment to the clerk at the store, or a smile to a stranger, you will begin to feel a light of hope in your own heart.  Don't give up.  God is with you my friend and we do care about you.  David said in Psalms to encourage yourself in the Lord, so give yourself little pep talks.  Be thankful for the little things.  Force yourself to take a short walk every day and as you walk praise God for the sunlight, the trees, the flowers, and any animal you see.  Talk to God about your problems and ask Him to bring peace to your heart and mind.

God has warned my mom and her brother of things that where going to happen.  One Christmas, my mom came in the living room and said that God told her that we should spend as much time together as possible that Christmas because that would be the last Christmas the whole family were together.  
That next Christmas 7 people were missing.  One whole family because of the death of a spouse, a divorce, kept one from coming etc.  So God did talk to my mom.

On the other hand you have to be careful of these people who are on T.V.  Especially those who claim to talk to the dead, which the Bible says is a sin.

The Rapture and the Second Coming are two events.  In the Rapture we are taken up to Heaven, in the Second Coming we come back with Jesus on white horses.

The books are not anit-Catholic either.  The Catholics believe that there will be an evil Pope in the future, themselves.  It is in the Catholic writings.  When the Rapture takes place ANYONE who is left behind will be because they are unsaved.  That includes Baptist, Assembly of God, and Catholics.  Yes, there are many Catholics who are Christians just like there are many who claim to be Baptist who are not saved.  When the rapture takes place those who do not believe in the rapture will believe then, if they are saved.

Where as the Left Behind books seek to win people for Christ the DaVinci code questions the Deity of Christ.  How many people have been saved by reading the Left Behind books?  I would imagine that the writer is responsible for more people coming to Christ than those who make fun of his books.
I think the books are great and feel they are great way to get people to read God's Word.  What do you say is in the books is not ture?  The rapture, the plaques that Revelations talk about?  What exactly do you have trouble with the books?

Thank you both for making fun of me.  ALways nice to be kicked by a fellow Christian.  There is a big difference between the Da Vinci Code and the Left Behind.  Left Behind is a fiction book with Bible truths.  It does not claim to be anything but fiction.  Da Vinci Code is a fiction book that claims to be facts.  You can make fun of the Left Behind books all you want, but one day the rapture will take place an no one will be making fun any more.  Now go find someone else to discourage.

True.  My husband thinks it is manly not to need anyone.  But, when do things with people from the Church he admits that he enjoyed it.

There is no sin to big that God cannot forgive you.  The fact that you are being convicted, means God is still dealing with you.  If you felt no guilt at all that would be a problem.  No matter how bad your sin is, please do not make it worse by killing yourself.  Fall on your face before God and ask for forgivness.  Then pray for Him to teach you how to live for Him.  I can tell you that those you would leave behind after killing yourself, will bear the scars.  I know this too well!

Suicide is the most selfish act a person can commit.  So get help.  Please!  I have been touched by suicide twice and both times I seen people destoryed by this selfish act.

I have an arthritis disease that is affecting my body.  I walk with a cane, but it is my hands are the most painful.  I have two grandchildren a boy 15, and a girl 10.

I am doing much better today.  The pain in my hands is mild and it is a beauitful day outside.
