yeah the reason why im doing this is to either show a teacher that just because 70% of theologians believe this doesnt make it right. also that if im going to be told im wrong in something i believe in i rather research it to make sure im wrong.

proof that the Bible is TRUTH,

no one in that class is saying its not true...but they are just saying its written by someone different.

I dont know if this has been addressed since the last time ive been on which has been quite some time but im writing a paper on why the Gospels were written by who they were written by.  Its for my New Testament class at my lovely liberal college.  So theres a lot of doubt pressed in this issue.  I was curious to what everyone else thinks on this subject.  And if you know of any good commentaries to help.  I have Guthrie and Carson. 

Here are arguments that go against that are always brought up when this subject comes up.
-Education (Gospels were written in Greek, but the disciples were uneducated peasents werent they?)
-Taking from Mark (So much of Matthew and Luke come straight from Mark if people like Matthew were there why is there so much similarity?)
-Dating/When was it written
-Why doesnt John use his actual name but he's just assumed to be the beloved disciple.
-Contradictions in parts like when the Last Supper was and the Crufixition.
-How can you say they wrote these but the noncanonical gospels werent written by who they say there were as well.

I Just want to hear what everyone has to say about this.

I find Family Guy to be offensive. I think there is too much profanity, sexual content, and sacrilegeous material on there. For instance, they portrayed Albert Einstein as smashing God's head with an oven door repeatedly until he was unconscious. I used to watch it, but not anymore.

Okay to begin with that wasnt God that wass another inventer and they were saying how all the great inventers steal ideas from someones else.

To Tibby it was a little crude but those episodes were made before it was canceled when they knew they would be canceled so they basically threw the rules out the doors.  The past one is funny i like it, i dont take it seriously neither should you let a simple cartoon make you upset.  

that looked decent one of the most moving movies that i watched that was seqular was Ladder 49, i dont care if im a guy its a sad movie.

ok heres a response to a thread that has been looked on the apologetics "To moderators of a forum and to all."   Heres just a warning to members like Soilder of Christ.  I know from experience dont play with fire b/c youll burn yourself.  Please just think about what your saying and what the response will be before you push the POST button.  If you dont you could get banned believe me I know.  Sometimes its better to keep your anger to a post or retalition to one to yourself.   I just want all ya to think about that.

wow for once i agree with BigD this may be a bad sign.   The man is a deciever.  One of the biggest bible ref. to this is 2 Peter 3....i think.

I have asked Bronzesnake, Jemidon-2004 and twobombs to explain to me the following:

WHICH IS IT? Either Joel in 2:28-32 isn't speaking of the Tribulation and/or Peter doesn't know where he is in the timetable of prophesy in Acts 2:15-20. PLEASE clear that up for me. I am going by what I believe the Bible teaches. If it is saying something else, PLEASE explain it to me.

Are you joking???  We have shown you time and time again.  Telling and showing are the same on a message board b/c we arent meeting in person.   But I have showed and Bronzesnake have both showed you that you are wrong in this matter or do you forget the Rapture thread or the convo on the fifthday forum?

im going with no b/c i have seen no evidence that he is a Christian and if he is he will be put down in the lowest part for misleading so many people and supporting bad doctrine.
