John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
John 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
John 18:38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? ...

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.

John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. ...

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

35  Entertainment / Sports / Re: Lets see.........Seahawks or Steelers? on: February 13, 2006, 04:35:07 AM
Umm, I did.....as I said before, it appeared to me the ball never broke the plane.   Tongue  lol

Even if the Steelers didn't break the goal line, they still won by 4 points. I only picked who I thought would win(with or without the help of the Refs Grin ). In the past I've went with the NFC all the way, because my team is in the NFC. Not anymore, I don't pick who I would like to win, but rather who I think will win. I do better with my picks Wink Grin

But my opinion didn't matter.   I tried telling the zebra guys they were wrong, but they would not listen to me.

I know the feeling well, and... no, I'm not talking about the call on the field either. Grin

That ball didn't cross the line...but there was room for "maybe", hence the call by the official.

Just so you know, the ball doesn't need to cross the goal line.

Oh well.  Next year...my Colts...can lose to the future SB champs AGIN!!!!  Grin

We already had one of the Greats without a SuperBowl ring with Dan Marino, are you sure we need another one? Wink After all, Manning has something Marino didn't have in my opinion, is a running game. Sad

I know, it is an oxymoronic phrase.........

Lol, how did you come to that conclusion? I didn't think it was contradicting. It was more like a message contained in a creative work. Grin Grin Really, I thought it was like "A and B" is true only if both A and B are true. Shocked
37  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Re: Priest could face trial for saying Jesus existed - on: February 13, 2006, 02:31:21 AM
In dismissing the case, the judge recommended that Cascioli be investigated for slander against the priest, a prospect Cascioni dismissed, saying proving the charge would still require Righi to prove Christ's existence.

"They don't have any proof," he said.

Thanks for the follow-up brother. Being out of town six days out of the week makes it hard to keep up on the topic. The circumvent by the judge reminds me of Pontius Pilate in a way.
38  Entertainment / Sports / Re: Lets see.........Seahawks or Steelers? on: February 06, 2006, 01:34:24 AM

Thats what I meant, it looked like it stopped short of breaking the plane, but obviously what the review showed was not obvious enough to overturn the ruling on the field.   Even the ref that was running in looked like he was going to mark the ball short until he saw rothless, holding it in the endzone.....lol   Oh well, Like I said, it doesn't matter now either way.

Go dolphins Cheesy

The fact that your looking at when he was on the ground...in which case you would be right, but when Rothless(as you put it Grin ) jumped towards the endzone and if you get a chance to see that play again, look at when he was in the air. I just watched it again in slow motion.

If I remember right he said he lived near the Indy 500. He was in the Navy Reserves. Unfortunately I can't even remember his name. We were stationed together in Bahrain with a 500 bed hospital unit and he worked in a different part of the command so I only saw him twice in the three months we were there. Not much to go on but I do remember what he looks like.

Being that the pit crews change members sometimes and I'm sure many of those can be from Indianapolis, your going to have your viewing time cut out for you. I'll keep asking though.

I forgot you were in Phoenix. Sad  I'm forgetting to much in my old age. Cry

Everyone has some-timer disease. Sometimes we remember and sometimes we don't. Cheesy

I'm still not convinced the Rothlessburger<sp> TD was a sure thing....looked to me the ball never crossed the plane.

The whole ball doesn't need to cross over the plane, it only needs to break the front of the goal line.

I think the Hobo races were the best................ Grin

What does radio controlled cars optimized for performance and commercials have in common? I don't get it Huh Oh, I get it now...you would rather watch Hobo racing over Nascar. Grin

Just rub it in both of y'all. As I live in Arizona............. Smiley

Showlow for you and Phoenix for me Cheesy Grin Grin
41  Entertainment / Sports / Re: Lets see.........Seahawks or Steelers? on: February 05, 2006, 11:40:09 PM
I watch the Nascar but primarily the pits. I have been trying to locate a guy that I was with in Desert Storm that worked the pits. I can't remember which car he was with though.

Where is the guy from?... and any other info could be helpful. I can put the word out to those who love Nascar that I know, maybe they might know something.

Oh well, as they say, there's always next year.  At least the 'Hawks got off the "Never Been To The Superbowl" list.     Cry

I don't think the Arizona Cards will ever get off the list as long as they have the same personnel in the front office. Rub it in there Bob Grin
42  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Re: Pastor Hagee Speaks Out on the Iranian Nuclear Threat on: February 05, 2006, 11:27:23 PM
I've always enjoyed Pastor Hagee because he tells you how it was, how it is and how it will be with alittle humor every now and then.
43  Entertainment / Sports / Re: Lets see.........Seahawks or Steelers? on: February 05, 2006, 11:11:48 PM
I plant corn every year, as I live in the country. Grin yes, I also watch it grow, except on Sundays. Then I am watching my Nascar..... Grin

Were way off topic now for sure. Grin
How much land do you have to plant corn on?
Stock and Funny Cars are the best, racing around on a small dirt track.

Sounds like one of those diet food commercials.

 Grin Grin Grin

Do you think its right up there with the Peyton Manning's DeCaf commercial Wink
44  Entertainment / Sports / Re: Lets see.........Seahawks or Steelers? on: February 05, 2006, 10:44:42 PM
Oops, I hit the wrong button.

A good steak, doesn't need A-1 sauce, just the right spices..........
powder garlic, natures blend, and on a cooked rare steak.

I had Corn on the cob (fresh,) mashed taters, and fillet of cod baked in lemon and butter.  Grin

Your the third person to say something about using A1 in the last couple of weeks. Undecided

Did you watch the corn grow frist?  Wink Grin
45  Entertainment / Sports / Re: Lets see.........Seahawks or Steelers? on: February 05, 2006, 10:22:00 PM

It was still a good game, till the 4th quarter.

Yeah that it was, but the Steelers vs. Colts was the best game I seen this year in my book. I can't say its a heartbreaker that the Bus stops in Detroit.
