Do you or do you not believe that what Ezekiel foretold about Israel's desolation is refering to what took place in 70 AD?

Yes or No?

Ezekiel 36:18,19 are prophetic, but the cross references(Ezek. 36:18 are ch. 16:36,38; 23:37 and Ezek. 36:19 are ch. 7:3; 18:30; 39:24) are an explanation from Ezekiel after being called by God, why their in captivity/exile. The Babylonians attacked Judah three times over a 20 year period and took captives.

Hi all, I live out there somewhere. Off in the top-middle of the picture is downtown Phoenix, Arizona. It gets very hot here during the summer time, but it's a dry heat. For all you snow pushers, some day maybe I'll get a chance to play in it. Grin

153  Entertainment / Movies / ~MEGIDDO~ on: November 23, 2004, 05:26:47 AM
This movie is about the end time Prophecies of Armageddon. "Armageddon" the word actually means "mount of Megiddo," which refers to a small mountain overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. This great valley has been ground zero for many warriors over the past centuries.

During the past 4000 years or so, at least 34 bloody conflicts have already been fought at the ancient site of Megiddo and around the Jezreel Valley. The Egyptians, Canaanites, Israelites, Midianites, Amalekites, Philistines, Hasmonaeans, Greeks, Romans, Muslims, Crusaders, Mamlukes, Mongols, French, Ottomans, British, Australians, Germans, Arabs and Israelis have all fought and died there.

Joel 3:12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. (Psalm 96:13; Isaiah 2:4)

Joel 3:13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. (Matthew 13:39; Revelation 14:15,19; Jeremiah 51:33; Isaiah 63:3)

Joel 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. (ch. 2:1)

Joel 3:15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

Joel 3:16 The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. (Isaiah 51:5,6)

Joel 3:17 So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.

The Bible also calls the final battle of Armageddon the:
1. wrath of the Lord (Isaiah 26:20)
2. hot anger of the Lord (Ezekiel 38:18)
3. dread of the Lord (Isaiah 2:10)
4. vengeance of God (Isaiah 35:4)
5. grapes of wrath Isaiah (63:1-6; Revelation 14:14-20)
6. great banquet of God (Ezekiel 39:17-20; Revelation 19:17-18)

  • It takes place after the mid point toward the end of the Tribulation (Revelation 16:16).
  • It involves all the nations of the world (Joel 3:12).
  • It pits all nations against the Lord and His anointed (Psalm 2).
  • It ends with the revelation of Christ as King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Revelation 19:11 -- 21).[/color]

Remember the Bible is clear as to who wins the war....Jesus the Christ, the true Messiah will win the war when He comes back with His saints in the clouds to set up His Kingdom!

Go Arizona!!!!

So what are you saying, you would like me to agree with you? Seattle and St. Louis have some tough games ahead of them, but Arizona would need to win(which seems to be the question).

These guys have a better chance to get the #1 draft
I am in Arizona, so who better to root for............................

What part of Arizona? I see your pointing up at the Dolphins, which would be no problem to root for them. You do know, even if the Dolphins win the next 6 game they would be 7-9. New England is 8-1 right now until later on tonight.
156  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Colt and Smith & Wesson with a Mark? on: November 22, 2004, 05:12:04 AM
Although mandatory background checks and waiting periods help ensure that guns do not fall into the wrong hands, there is currently no way to limit the use of a gun to the original purchaser. If guns were personalized so that only the buyer could operate them, many deaths, both accidental and intentional, could be prevented.

The technology to produce personalized guns, or "Smart Guns," already exists and is being tested by companies such as Colt and Smith & Wesson. Four major versions of the technology are: a magnetic ring worn by the owner that matches a magnet inside the gun that allows it to be activated; a transponder worn by the owner that activates the gun when the corresponding transponder inside the gun is within a close range; a combination lock placed on the gun itself; and a fingerprint recognition device.

Quoted: "Smart guns are a dumb idea"

It's said that chip technology can track someone by satellites, but I'm also sure they could shut a criminal smart gun down. If firearms manufacturers design, build and sell "smart guns", the criminals will develop methods to disable this "Smart Gun" very shortly thereafter. So, what are your thoughts on Smart Guns and the Bible?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Indianapolis at Detroit, early game.
Peyton Manning is only 13 TD's away from Dan Marino’s record of 48.

Submission can mean humble, after all, lowly depths didn't come to mind until after I posted it and it was quoted. Look on the bright side, from what DW said in post 4 helped with the Rams try to batter and it was the Dolphins only win. A thousand apologies for not knowing you were a Dolphins fan, it could've been worst by being a 49ers fan.

You wouldn't be a sports writer would ya?

No, I wouldn't.

"Uncastrated"? DUDE!! When's the Jaguars gonna realize they stink? lol

Well, being big cats(Jaguars) attack the young(Colts), sick and weak and those here are for the Colts...uncastrated and scratching would give the sensation of jock itch.

Yeah, you got beat down by a fish, but I wont kick you.
160  Entertainment / Sports / Re:Superbowl... on: November 20, 2004, 12:03:20 AM
The Steelers(8-1) do what they do best as for the Ravens(6-3) legends would be my guess, the Bengals(4-5) keep half their land for the Browns(3-6) have the rest.

The Colts(6-3) remain uncastrated as the Jaguars(6-3) keep on clawing, the Texans(4-5) keep looking for something as the Titans(3-6) remain mythology.

The Chargers(6-3) look for a source of power as the Broncos(6-3) refuse to be broken, the Chiefs(3-6) defend their tepees while the Raiders(3-6) keep on calling.

The Patriots(8-1) can be patsy as the Jets(6-3) turn on their engines, the Bills(3-6) don't get paid while the Dolphins(1-8) are in submission.

The Packers(5-4) are planning to move as the Vikings(5-4) set out to sail, the Bears(4-5) can just plan on hibernating as the Lions(4-5) don't seem to care.

The Falcons(7-2) hover high as the Saints(4-5) have a prayer and the Buccaneers(3-6) try to pirate some wins for the Panthers(2-7) are going nowhere.

The Seahawks(5-4) fly over the herd as the Rams(5-4) try to batter, the Cardinals(4-5) hold on to their plumage while the 49ers(1-8) don't matter.

;)The Eagles(8-1) fly away as the Gaints(5-4) keep them in reach, while the Cowboys(3-6) and Redskins(3-6) battle it out for new settlements in the NFC East. Grin
161  Theology / Apologetics / Re:What happens to nonbelievers who never really know? on: November 19, 2004, 05:35:01 AM
What's the answer?

Plant a seed and pray with him, if not pray for him. How do you plant a seed? The best way is to testify what God has done in your life.

What becomes of such cases where the person is unreached by Christianity?

Sometimes all you can do is plant a seed and pray it takes root.

What does the Bible say?

What some call The Roman Road.

Edit: Let them see you walking with the Lord.

Greetings all, I'm new as you can see.

Maybe they've never been to church and they are depressed with all of the darkness and evil of this world. Maybe they do a search and wind up here, reading the posts of so many sweet Christians.

Cheesy it was as easy as typing in Christian Forums in the search bar. I'm thankful to be here and I'll be fast to listen and slow to speak.

I think that the Internet is a wonderful place to share the Gospel of the Grace of God, the GOOD NEWS.

It's good to find a place where your able to speak your heart without being attacked for once.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

When we get knocked down, we can pray for each other and lift each other up to keep trying.

Phil.2:1) So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any incentive of love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy,
2) complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.

I see alot of threads out there with the Word of God in them, so until then...

Hi all, I'm new to the forums here. I checked out some other threads before coming to this one. I would like to come back and spend some more time with the views of one mixing Nebuchadnezzar Dreams, the revived Roman Empire, the coming of the Messiah amoung other things. I still have some post left to read, but my questions can wait until next time.

The word of God wasn't meant to be a check list. Pause and Calmly look at. Jesus is Lord.
