Another person that wants to argue semantics. well so lets look at the semantics of it then. No you did not use the words of "taking out of context". You did however imply just that by your comparison of verse 17 to verse 16.

 If you notice the words used when talking about gold and silver in verse 17. Here it says that he will not "greatly multiply to himself silver and gold". This is to say that he can multiply gold and silver but not in a great manner. This is the difference between the two statements of multiplying wives and multiplying silver and gold. If the use of greatly had been used with wives then it would be to say that more than one wife would be ok.

In verse 16 it did not use greatly but it did say multiplying horses for a certain purpose was wrong.

Your arguments on this verse are those used by those who support polygamy. These people wish to overlook the overall verse and other verses in the Bible that clearly teach against it.

This so called Nexus is a book full of blasphemey. It has Jesus of Yeshua as they prefer to call Him (all one and the same) as being just a man. It has Him getting married to Miriam and many other such things that diminish the diety of Jesus Christ.

Jesus is very God that came to us in the flesh.

Not mean, Brother. Chicken is one meat that is easy to eat without teeth unless it is overcooked or extra crispy. I love mine tender as in Original Recipe anyway.

Remember, I've neer had false teeth. So i have to learn to eat again.  I like my extra crispy!

They took all mine at the same time too. They didn't touch the calcium nodules under my tongue though and they can't fit me with false teeth until those are gone.
