16  Prayer / General Discussion / Israeli Invents Earthquake Detector on: January 06, 2005, 04:53:00 PM

 From the Jerusalem Post

http://www.israelnn.com/news.php3?id=74736#responses

An Israeli invention provides early warning of earthquakes, possibly saving untold numbers of lives.

The home device is as small as a shoebox and will cost consumers less than $200.

Israeli inventor Meir Gitlis developed the system, which has received much attention in the wake of the disastrous earthquake which caused tsunamis to devastate much of southeast Asia’s coastline. Gitlis told Israel21c.org that he doesn't claim his early warning system could have made a massive difference - but clearly even the saving of one life makes it worthwhile.

"Since the disaster occurred in the Far East, we've gotten requests from companies to take our sensor technology and develop an instrument against tsunamis," Gitlis said.

Gitlis’s “Earthquake Alert” is based on the same seismological principles as earthquake monitoring systems used by weather centers and government agencies worldwide. It contains an array of pendulums that naturally react to vibrations, sending a signal through an electronic circuit to a chip. After analyzing the frequency, the computer chip determines -and notifies the user - whether the movement was caused by a sonic boom, or a bomb, or if it is indeed the tremors of an earthquake.

"An earthquake is like lightning or thunder," Gitlis said. "First comes the primary waves which run through the ground very quickly. The instrument can sense the primary wave, which occurs tens of seconds before the secondary, destructive wave. The pre-warning of a half minute enables people to find cover."

Gitlis said that the Azrieli Towers in Tel Aviv – the country’s tallest buildings - have installed the Earthquake Alert in the skyscrapers’ elevators. In the event of a quake, the system will stop the elevators at the nearest floor, allowing people a chance to escape.

Researchers at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo tested the sensor recently and concluded that it is reliable and does not react to false alarms.
17  Theology / General Theology / Re:The Shekinah Glory: When Did It Leave Solomon's Temple on: January 05, 2005, 11:44:36 PM

Hey there Joshua, here are some scripture of when the Shekinah Glory left the Temple and Jerusalem.

Ezekiel chapter 8:6-7 Furthermore HE said to me "Son of man, do you see what they are doing the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, to make Me go far away from My sanctuary? Now turn again you will see greater abominations. So He brought me to the door of the court and when I looked there was a hole in the wall.

Ezekiel chapter 11:23-25 And the Glory of the Lord went up from the midst of the city and stood on the mountain which is on the east side of the city. Then the Spirit took me up and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea to those in captivity. And the vision that I had seen went up from me. So I spoke to those in captivity of all the things the Lord had shown me.

(Note) The east side the Shekinah Glory moved onto the Mount of Olives and wept for Jerusalem).

1 Kings 8:10-11 And it came to pass when the preists came out of the holy place that the cloud filled the house of the Lord so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud for the Shekinah Glory of Adonai filled the house of the Lord.

The Lord said HE would dwell in the dark cloud. I have surely built You an exalted house and a place for You to dwell in forever.

God dwelt between the Cherubim.

One of these events is the departure of governmental power from Judah. This is announced in the remarkable passage in chapter XX1 26,27.

First he sees it in its wonted place between the Cherubim in the Holy of Holies then he sees it lift itself from off the cherub and move to the threshold where it evidently remained for awhile. Then he sees it move again this time mounted on the Cherubim the symobls of God's executive power on the earth and passing out by the east gate it stood or remained hovering over the court So that the court was full of the brightness of the glory of Jehovah. Again he sees it depart from the court of the temple and stand over the city.

The Radeon X800 Pro 255 MB is an awesome graphics card.
I bought it over the summer for little over 400 dollars and is well worth the investement. IT was easy to install and so far i have had no trouble with it. And Awesome Graphics compared to my old Invidia graphics card which gave me alot of problems it wouldn't let me play alot of these new games.

I believe that Websters dictionary is quite verifiable and if i remeber correctly the man who wrote websters was a believer in Christ.

Why should it be less valid if it comes from a Messanic group? If somebody is telling truth it should not matter if the person is jewish or christian you know. But i do believe that we have to test all things what people say.

When you say retranslate do you mean like the NIV or KJ? there are alot of mistranslation in the KJ.and NIV.

20  Theology / General Theology / Re:The 4 Cups Of Communion on: December 11, 2004, 01:00:25 PM
Yes the deliverer came out of Tziyon already when Christ was born. Matthew 1:21,22 She will give birth to a son and you are to name him Yeshua (which means Adonai saves) because he will save his people from their sins.

Also the in the OT prophecy the Deliverer will come out of Zion . Psalm 14:7 and Isaiah 27:9 and ISaiah 59:20,21

Genesis 15:18 has nothing to do with Romans 11:25,28, because of the blood covenant God had currently made with Abraham about Israel. That Him and His descendants and the modern day descendants of the jewish people will enter into Israel and are. Genesis 15:18 and Romans11:25,28 are two different events. And Genesis 15:18 is a completed prophecy. and Romans 11:25,28 is a partial delayed and completed prophecy about the Redeemer that will come out of Sion. and verse 27 is a future event of Jacob when Christ comes to reveal His hand to the Jewish people the ones who have not accepted Yeshua as saviour and King.

I believe what David Baron said about the Fullness of the Gentiles makes perfect sense.

David Baron quotes Romans 11:25-27 Here we are told that Israel's present state is that of blindness and I need scarcely say that the most marked symptom of that blindness is that they see not Him Who is the "Light of the world". We are further told that there is a limit to that blindness both as to its extent and duration. It is not total as to its extent for there is "a remnant according to the election of grace" from ISrae l even now who are by the free grace of God made partakers of the blesssings of the gospel of Christ and who together with the people "taken out for His Name" from among the Gentiles are made one in the church which is the fulness of Him who filleth all in all Eph 1:23 Nor is it final as to duration for it is limited by an "until."  The two landmarks are these the "fulness of the Gentiles" and the Redeemer's return unto Zion. It must mean therefore the completion of that number who are now by the mercy of God called from among the Gentiles to fellowship with His dear Son or in the words of James "the people taken out for His Name who constitute the Gentile portion of the Bride of Christ. Israel will nationally remain blind and in their blindness reject the Son of God until after the "fulness of the Gentiles be come in," so that we have no warrant to expect the Jews brought nationally to accept Christ thorugh the efforts of the Christian Church. And I may add that since as has been stated the conversion of the world will only be effected after Israel is received again to favour with God and only through their active instrumentality as we know from other parts of Scripture Zechariah V111 20,23 and Isaiah 2:2,3 there is even less warrant to expect that the Gentile nations as such will be converted by the efforts of the Church.

Romans 11:25-28 in Acts 15:14,18  both romans and acts agree together.  in Acts 15:14,18 Simon has declared how God at the first visited the Gentiles to take out them a people for His name. And with this the words of the prophets agree just as it is written:

After this I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David which has fallen down I will rebuild its ruins and I will set it up So that the rst of mankind may seek the Lord Even all the Gentiles who are called by My name Says the Lord who does all these things.

From the book The Rays of Messiah's Glory by David Baron

Michael

The world is blessed spiritually through the Jewish people as a nation. Remeber God told Abraham through you will many nations will be blessed. Without Abraham nobody would be blessed or known who God is through the works of His salvation. As well as most nations who have not rejected Israel will be blessed because when you Reject Israel you are Rejected God Himself.  God has inscribed Jerusalem on the very palm of His hand.

21  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Members of Reestablished Sanhedrin Ascend Temple Mount Wednesday on: December 11, 2004, 11:26:12 AM
Members of Reestablished Sanhedrin Ascend Temple Mount Wednesday,
December 8, 2004

In a dramatic but unpublicized move, members of the newly established
Sanhedrin ascended the Temple Mount, Judaism’s holiest site, this past
Monday.

Close to 50 recently ordained s'muchim, members of the Sanhedrin, lined
up at the foot of the Temple Mount Monday morning. [The word s'muchim
comes from the same root as s'michah, , rabbinic ordination, to us
Christians, that is the basically the same as being ordained a minister to hold a
high office in some denominational headquarters, only greater.] The men,
many ascending the Temple Mount for the first time, had immersed in mikvaot
(ritual baths) that morning, and planned to ascend as a group. Despite
prior approval from the Israeli police who oversee entry to the Mount, the
officers barred the group from entering the Mount all together, and allowed them
to visit only in groups of ten.

Given the newly-mandated restrictive conditions, many of the s'muchim
refused to ascend at all, especially as a group of over 100 non-Jewish
tourists filed past the waiting rabbis and up towards the holy site.
“It is unconscionable that on the eve of Chanukah, which celebrates the
rededication of the Holy Temple, we should once again be barred from
worshipping – by our own people,” Rabbi Chaim Richman of Jerusalem’s
Temple Institute told IsraelNN’s Ezra HaLevi.

The Sanhedrin, a religious-legal assembly of 71 sages that convened
during the Holy Temple period and for several centuries afterwards, was the
highest Jewish judicial tribunal in the Land of Israel. The great court
used to convene in one of the Temple’s chambers in Jerusalem.

This past October, [
http://www.israelnationalnews.com/news.php3?id=70349
]the Sanhedrin was reestablished for the first time in 1,600 years, at
the site of its last meeting in Tiberias.

“There is a special mitzvah [commandment], not connected to time, but
tied to our presence in Israel, to establish a Sanhedrin,” Rabbi Meir
HaLevi, one of the 71 members of the new Sanhedrin, told Israel National
Radio’s Weekend Edition. “The Rambam [12th-century Torah scholar Maimonides]
describes the process exactly in the Mishna Torah [his seminal work
codifying Jewish Law]. When he wrote it, there was no Sanhedrin, and he
therefore outlines the steps necessary to establish one. When there is a
majority of rabbis, in Israel, who authorize one person to be a samuch,
an authority, he can then reestablish the Sanhedrin.”

Those behind the revival of the Sanhedrin stress that the revival of
the legal body is not optional, but mandated by the Torah. “We don’t have a
choice,” says Rabbi Richman. “It is a religious mandate for us to
establish a Sanhedrin.”

The Sanhedrin was reestablished through the ordination of one rabbi
agreed upon by many prominent rabbis in Israel and approved as “fitting to
serve” by former Chief Sefardi Rabbi Ovadiah Yosef and leading Ashkenazi Rabbi
Yosef Shalom Elyashiv. That rabbi, who is then considered to have received
authentic ordination as handed down from Moses, was then able to give
ordination to 70 others, making up the quorum of 71 necessary for the
Sanhedrin.

“Even Mordechai HaYehudi of the Purim story was accepted, as it is
written, only ‘by the majority of his brethren,’ and not by everybody,"
Rabbi HaLevi explained. "Anyone who deals with public issues can not be
unanimously accepted.”

The rabbis behind the Sanhedrin’s reconstitution claim that, like the
State of Israel, the old-new Sanhedrin is a work-in-progress. They see
it as a vessel that, once established, will reach the stature and
authority that it once had.

“The first members requested that their names not be published, so as
to allow it to grow without public criticism of individuals,” HaLevi said.
“We want to give it time to develop and strengthen the institution,
giving a chance for more rabbis to join.” He added that each of the current
members of the Sanhedrin has agreed to be a conditional member until a
more knowledgeable rabbi joins, taking his place.

Rabbi Richman, also a member of the Sanhedrin, hopes the body will
bring about a revolution in Jewish jurisprudence. Declining to discuss
exactly what issues are on the Sanhedrin’s agenda, Richman said that
one of the main long-term goals of the Sanhedrin is to reunify Jewish observance
in Israel.(That is reintituting Temple Worship and Sacrifice) The Sanhedrin
includes members of Ashkenazi, Sefardi, Hasidic, National-Religious and
Hareidi communities.

“We Jews went into exiles all over the world,” Rabbi HaLevi said “Every
community established its own court. We are talking about more than 50
different legal systems developing separately from one another. Part of
our return to Israel is the reunification of our Jewish practices.”

A tradition is recorded in the Talmud (Tractate Megillah 17b, Rashi)
that the Sanhedrin will be restored after a partial ingathering of the
Jewish exiles, but before Jerusalem is completely rebuilt and restored.
Another Talmudic tradition (Eruvin 43b; Maharatz Chajas ad loc; Rashash to
Sanhedrin 13b) states that Elijah the Prophet will present himself before
a duly-ordained Sanhedrin when he announces the coming of the Messiah.

BigD You responded The nation of Israel today IS NOT the Israel that God will restore after the rapture of the Chruch. The nation of Israel today is a result of man's actions through the UN. The Israel that God restores will occupy the land promised in Genesis 15:18.

God used the nation of the UN to form Israel as a nation which happened in 1948. This is God's first prophecy that Israel would become a nation.

Did you know what you quoted BigD in Genesis 15:18 is the very same Israel as today. That is the Same Israel that God promised Abraham and Moses and JAcob todays jewish people are Descendants who are moving back to Israel who are the Descendants of Abraham and Moses and Jacob.

Here are 2 great future prophecies of Israel becoming a nation in 1948.

Isaiah 66:9-10 and Isaiah 66:8 Before she was in labor she gave birth Before her pain came. She delivered a male child. Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave brith to her children. Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery? says the Lord. Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb? says your God?

Did you know BigD that God is restoring Israel every day? There is no other Israel that God is going to restore other than the Israel God has formed into a nation through people in 1948. The church is not israel and israel is not the church but those who believe in the Messiah are one in the Him.

The promises of current day Israel Ezekiel 36:8-12

1. Israel will return
2. You will shoto forth branches and yield fruit.
3.You will be tilled and sown
4.I will multiply the house of Israel on you.
5.The cities will be inhabited.
6.The ruins will be rebuilt.
7.Israel will possess you

In 1948 Israel became a State. For the first time in 2000 years Jews could return to the Land unhindered. Since then millions of Jewish people have returned.

The Lord promised to bring the Jewish people back after they endured suffering. Isaiah 40:2. but while they are yet sinful Ezekiel 36:24,25.and then to pour out His Spirit upon them and give them a new heart Ezekiel 36:26,27.

There are no conditions that Israel must meet.

1. I have raised My hand in an oath.
2.I will turn to you.
3.I will multiply men.
4.I will make you inhabited.
5.I will cause men to walk on you.
6.I had concern for My Holy Name.
7.I will sanctify.
8.I will take you.
9.I will sprinkle
10.I will cleanse.
11.I will give.
12.I will put.
13.I will deliver you.
14.I will call for the grain and multiply it.
15.I will mulitply the fruit.
16.I do this.
17.I will increase their men like a flock.
18.I the Lord have spoken it.
19 I will do it  this is all found in Ezekiel 36:7-36

Praise God this is a great prophecy Ezekiel 11:17 I will Gather you from the nations and bring you back from the countries where you have been Scattered and I will give you back to the Land of Israel again.

Numbers 24:9 Blessed is he who blesses (Israel) and cursed is he who curses you (Israel).

in Yemen Nearly 50,000 Yemenites who had never seen a plane were airlifted to Israel in 1949 and 1950. Since the Book of Isaiah promised "They shall mount up with wings as eagles the JEwish community boarded the "Eagles" the Jewish community boarded the "eagles" contentedly to the pilots consternation some of the lit a bonfire aboard to cook their food. this is from a book called The Mountains Of Israel The Bible and the WEst Bank page 37.

And you're telling me and everyone else lies that this is not the present Israel that God is going to restore BigD? Half of the OT and good majority of the New Covenant is filled with prophesies that God is restoring Israel and bringing back the jewish people that God scattered He is bringing them back and that the land is going to be flourished and everything rebuilt.

Isaiah 35:1,6,7 is a great prophecy about the land in Israel blossoming.

Did you know that in 1967 a miraculous six day war this promise of God came true Israel took possession of the mountains of Israel including the Old City of Jerusalem.

Zechariah 2:4 Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns with out walls because of the multittude of men and livestock in it.. Today Jerusalem is a city without walls. At night the lights of the city look like the stars that Abraham tried to cound Genesis 15:5.

Ancient sites are flourishing again. The modern town of SHilo 1Samuel 1:3 is thriving.

Bethel is Bet El Gensis 35:15.

Mount Gaash Joshua 24:30 supports the city of Ariel population 15,000.

Kiriat Arba Joshua 20:7 is now a JEwish town near Hebron.

and many others.

                       BigD Responds
Being Israel is presently in a set aside condition, the message of salvation is going forth through the preaching of the gospel of the grace of God (the mystery) that was revealed to the Apostle Paul. The good news of the gospel is going forth in spite of Israel rejection of her King and His Kingdom.

                Michael Responds

Israel is not presently set aside in any condition, If you look at current prophecy the remanant israelis from the North (Russia) and other countries are flocking to Israel each and every day. I see if Israel is presently set aside then there is no prophecy happening in Israel which we know is not the case. In fact Anti Semtism is bringing the Jewish people home by the thousands.

                  BigD Responds

Romans 11:25 tells us "...that blindness in part (temporarily) is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in." That will be when the Chruch, the Body of Christ is raptured to heaven.

When you quote from scripture include the entire context BigD, Verse 26 And so all Israel will be saved as it is written: The Deliverer will come out of Zion and HE will turn away ungodliness from Jacob For this is My covenant with them When I take away their sins.

The church is not going to be raptured at this point we the body of Christ Jew and Gentile will have to endure the Tribulation. There is no pre tribulation of the body of Christ.

             BigD Quotes

After the rapture, "And so all Israel shall be saved; as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant UNTO THEM (ISRAEL), WHEN I SHALL TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS" (Romans 11:26,27).

It is THEN that the world will be blessed through Israel as a nation. The world is not being blessed to day because of Israel, but inspite of Israel rejection her King and His Kingdom.

          Michael Quotes

The problem with this entire context BigD is you would have Zechariah lying if the rapture of the church happened when you said. Zechariah 8:23 Thus says the Lord of host: In those days ten men from every language and Gentile nations shall grapse the sleeve of a JEwish man saying "Let us go with you for we have heard that God is with you."

Another problem that you have is if the raptured occured when you said then how is people to be blessed on earth by people praying and supporting Israel? People are blessed America is blessed by supporting Israel but if you look at countries such as Africa and Syria and Egypt and etc... those are cursed nations because they continually curse israel to this day they are not blessed like they could be if only they supported Israel and prayed for them and support them finacially. America is that great nation which alot of Zionist such as I support and am blessed by God.

                 BigD Quotes
Are the Instructions in righteousness to Israel, under the Laws of Moses, the same as the instructions of righteousness to the Body of Chirst? If they are, THEN SHOW ME.

                     Michael Quotes
Matthew 5:17 Don't think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah not until eveyrhting that must happen has happened. So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven.

I dont believe the Author had any axe to grind but was revealing truth the general public doesnt know about.

Here is what i came across doing more search about the word Kirika.

                 Evangelist quote

The Germanic kirika, from when came the Old English cirice (church), was originally derived from the Greek kyriake oikia, meaning Lord's house. It, in itself derived from kyriakon (of the Lord).

                    Michael quote

I did some more search on what you posted about Kirika and came up with this.

Here i quote from Websters Dictonary New Twentieth Century Unabridged.

The name "Cir'ce". In Homer's Odyssey an enchantress who turned men into swine.

She was the goddess daughter of Helios the Sun diety! another form of sun worship.

The word is related to "Circus", "circle", "circuit", "Circean", "circulate and the various words starting with circum".

The Latin proununciation could have been "sirke" or "sirse".
The Old English word circe may have been prounounced similarly to "kirke", or even "sirse".

Circe was in fact originally a Greek goddess where her name was written as: Kirke. The word "church" is known in Scotland as kirk, and in Germans as Kirche and in Netherlands as kerk. These words show direct derviation from the Greek Kirke even better than the English "church". The Old English circe for "church" reveals it's origin.

27  Theology / Apologetics / Luke 23:43 on: December 08, 2004, 01:07:28 PM

As i was reading this passage, i decided to do an etymology, search on the word "Paradise".

The word "Paradise" is the word Gan (Garden) Eden (Eden).

Both the Greek and Hebew compliment Paradise as Gan Eden.

Yeshua promised the thief that he would be with God, today in Gan Eden. When the thief and Yeshua both died the thief spirit went into Sheol. Remeber Sheol had two compartments one for the wicked and one for the righteous. When the thief died He went to Gan Eden (paradise) the compartement in Sheol. This makes me question that i have never thought about before was this compartment in sheol were the righteous were in was it simliar to heaven?

In the King James Key Word Study Bible/ The Greek Dictionary of the New Testament number 3857 Paradise of Oriental or. {comp. 6508} a park i.e. (spec.) An Eden (place of future happiness "paradise". {6508} Paradise of for. or.; a park, forest, orchard. Hebrew And Chaldee Dictionary.

Even Amazingly in 2 Corinthians 12:4 is Gan Eden but this text is of the future that had already happened because Christ crucifixion and resurrection and the resurrection of the saints in the OT and NT prior to the death of the Messiah.

This Gan Eden or Paradise is synonymous with the third heaven were those believers who have died are even now at home with the Lord.

This is the First Resurrection of the OT and NT Believers of the Messiah. Matthew 27:51 Then behold the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom and the eath quaked and the rocks were split and the graves were opened and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

I believe the Resurrected believers, ascended with Yeshua to heaven in Luke 24:50,51.

28  Theology / General Theology / The Feast of Passover in the Gospel of John on: December 06, 2004, 01:10:10 AM
There are four recorded Passovers in the Gospel (basar) of John (Yochanan), even as Yeshua attended the Passover with His
parents from year to year (Luke 2:41-42).

1.The first Passover Yeshua attended at Jerusalem (Yerushalayim) as an adult is recorded in John (Yochanan) 2:13-17. In
these passages, He found the temple (Beit HaMikdash) defiled with money changers. He then declared that "My house shall
be called of all nations the house of prayer..." (Mark 11:17). The spiritual application (halacha) is this: The believers in
Yeshua are G-d's temple and we are not to defile it with sin (1 Corinthians 3:16-17; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18). Those who
believe in the Messiah Yeshua are the house of G-d (Hebrews 3:6; 1 Timothy 3:15; 1 Peter [Kefa] 2:5).

2.The second Passover feast is recorded in John (Yochanan) 5:1-15. Although the particular feast is not specifically mentioned
here, we know that it is either Passover (Pesach), Pentecost (Shavuot), or Tabernacles (Sukkot) because Yeshua went up
(aliyah) to Jerusalem (Yerushalayim) to observe it (Deuteronomy [Devarim] 16:16). By knowing what Yeshua did in these
passages and what these feasts teach us, the evidence suggests it was Passover. This Passover reveals Yeshua as the Healer
of men's bodies and souls; the Forgiver of sin; and the Healer of disease. In the Egyptian Passover, Israel was to feed upon
the body of the lamb. As they did, they were saved from the destruction of Egypt and their bodies were healed (Exodus
[Shemot] 12:13; Psalm [Tehillim] 105:26,36-37). Thus healing is associated with Passover, and at this Passover, Yeshua
healed an impotent man.

3.The third Passover is found in John (Yochanan) 6:1-13. At Passover, the children of Israel ate the flesh of the lamb, sprinkled
the blood on the door, and ate unleavened bread. Thus the bread and the lamb's body were eaten by all at Passover. In these
passages, Yeshua is the Bread of Life, the unleavened bread, and the heavenly manna.

4.The fourth Passover is Yeshua's sacrificial death on the tree. He is the Lamb of G-d and the Unleavened Bread, dying despite
having never sinned.

In conclusion, in the first Passover, Yeshua is the Temple Cleanser (the spiritual temple is the physical body of the believer). In
the second Passover, Yeshua is the Healer of body and soul. In the third Passover, Yeshua is the Bread of Life. In the fourth
Passover, Yeshua is the Lamb of G-d slain for the sins of the whole world.

The Bread and Cups of the Passover Seder

During the celebration of Pesach, three cakes of unleavened bread (matzot) are placed one upon another, with a napkin
between each cake. At a certain point in the Seder service, the middle cake, known as the afikomen, or "that which come after," is
broken in two. One piece is distributed among the people present, and the larger piece is hidden in a napkin. Toward the end of the
Passover Seder, the hidden portion is brought to light and eaten by those surrounding the Passover table. The Messianic
understanding is that these three pieces of matzot represent G-d the Father, the Messiah Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit (Ruach
HaKodesh). The central piece, the afikomen, is broken, a portion is eaten, and the remainder hidden and then brought forth to
testify of the death, burial, and resurrection of Yeshua.

During the course of the Seder, the four cups of wine that are served to the people present at the Seder are used in the
following manner, and are called:

1.The cup of blessing (Luke 22:17; 1 Corinthians 10:16). This cup is called the cup of sanctification, or the Kiddush.

2.The cup of wrath (Luke 22:42-44). This cup is not drunk, but is poured out on the table as the plagues of Egypt are recited.
Yeshua drank of this cup for us in the Garden of Gethsemane and when He died on the tree.

3.The cup of blessing, salvation, or redemption. This cup is filled to overflowing, symbolizing an overflowing salvation
(Psalm [Tehillim] 116:13).

4.The cup of the kingdom (Luke 22:18,20; Matthew [Mattityahu] 26:28-29). Yeshua spoke of eating and drinking afresh in
the Messianic age with His disciples after His resurrection.

Hi NRoof,

You Quoted:

Christ was most probably not born on December 25th

I (Michael) Quoted:

Mithra was born on the 25th of December...which was taken over by the Christians in 4 .A.D.

There is No evidence used Dec 25th as the birthday of Christ in 4 A.D.! In fact, almost all scholars agree that this date was adopted centuries later. To be more specific Joseph Cambell notes that the date was adopted in 354 AD. Thus, the adoption of this date says Nothing about the influences of Mithraism on the formation of Gospel accounts.

 How was Mithra born?

Mithra was born by emerging from a rock with a dagger in one hand, a torch in the other hand, Phrygian cap on his head. No mention of a "virgin birth".

 Sulfurdolphin (Michael) Quotes:

When was The Messiah Born? Succoth (Tishri 15 October)
Also Succoth is known as The Feast Of Tabernacles.
The Messiah was born in the Biblical Year 4000.

When they arrived in Beit-Lechem, the inn was full of festival goers and taxpayers, and there was no room for them. {However, because it was Succot,} they were content to stay in a temporary shelter {that had been made especially for Succot, as the scripture commands. On the first day of Succot, which is a Shabbat rest,} the time came for Miryam to give birth, and she gave birth to her firstborn son. She then wrapped him in work towels and laid him in a food
storage bin that was placed there for temporary provisions.
