I don't think I saw "Exodus" either.  The holocaust was a very awful and sad thing.  I saw a movie called Shindler's List (forgive the spelling).  It was also about the Holocaust.

Yes, definitely a good movie!  I thought it had a few violent/grusome parts, but overall I thought it was excellent!  I don't recall hearing much bad language, no sex scenes, and it definitely held my attention!  Great movie!

Yes, absolutely!  I live in FL, and the storm didn't hit my city, but I know a lot of people it did get.  So definitely keep everyone in your prayers during this time!

Hi, PhizzKid.  I'm glad you could join us here at Christians Unite!  I'm terribly sorry about your father.  In Romans 8:28 the Bible says "We know that everything works together for the good of those who love him.  They are the people he called, because that was his plan."  Sometimes it's hard to understand why bad things happen, but I believe God does have a plan for you, and He will work this situation out for good even though the end doesn't seem to be in sight.  The only advice I can give is not to give up and keep the faith!  I'll add you to my prayer list as well!  God Bless You!

I agree, murder is done with bad intentions.  Killing out of self defense is something you don't do with bad intentions. You just have to do it for your protection or maybe the protection of others.  I think it's better to disable someone if you can instead of completely killing them, but I know sometimes you can't.  So no, I wouldn't say killing out of self defense is breaking one of the ten commandments.
