Hi are you still looking for a slogan for your T-Shirt ? This scripture could be added to any saying that you would use. It is the Gospel and leads to salvation!
How about....1st Corinthians 15:1-4
This is lengthy for a T-shirt Slogan but the scripture could be included 1)MOREOVER, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2) By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3) For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4)And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures

Prayer / General Discussion / Help........What should I do?

Hi All, I have a situation here that I am desparate about. My Brother is not saved. He is a marajuana addict with severe emotional disabilities. He refuses to even consider his addiction is a problem. worse still he is not able to grasp the concept of God. I have prayed that the Lord will reach him at his level, and in turn the enemy has sent forces in his path. He is convinced he is a homosexual, but has had conversations with my husband and I about the possibility that because the way he grew up he is the way he is. We were molested as children. My brother by far the worst. he was tied up and raped at 4 years old(he now has an obsession with knots. Phone cords, socks, anything when he is nervous he ties knots) and was put in a special school for boys where sexual predators were and are still very prevalent. so He was further abused and he in turn went after younger boys within the school. now he is 31 years old and since I have been praying for him the enemy has sent a heroin addict with "Gay" friends into his life. I prayed against that and she basically faded out w/o ever introducing him to her friends. I praise God for that. Now he has been asked to babysit a 2 year old boy. I am concerned that he may himself molest this baby. I don't think he is even aware of this possibility. He loves babies and I am concerned that this could be a stumbling block for him. I don't know what to do. what is my obligation here. With just a speculation I could ruin his life by telling anyone. It's like saying well this guy could murder or steal when In fact I don't know. we are all tempted in one way or another. Is it fair to assume that he will be a repeat offender? I will pray of course against this We had noone in our lives to pray for us as we were assaulted. Is that where I should leave it ?or is more required of me?Please agree in Prayer with me against this horrible curse.any advice would be greatly appreciated

Has anyone considered the concept that if this movie or any like it do well at the box office, that just shows Hollywood that there is a desire for this kind of movie and then in turn they will continue to peddle more rubbish. It did not do better then the Passion. I did not see Bruce Almighty either "Either" implies you haven't see saved, I take it. In that case, stop talking trash about movies you have not seen yet. We can’t handle criticism, no matter how constructive, we scream “Heresy” when people disagree with us, and we say anything that doesn’t line up with our near view of Christianity is the work of Satan. Then we wonder why so many people are turned off by Christianity? Satan doesn’t need to keep people away, we are don’t a great job of it all by our selves. I guess I deserve that... You're absoulutly right Tibby , no I have seen neither movie mainly because of the reason I mentioned. However the trailers for these movies offended me. I do not care if there is a good moral or not. I will never post another review w/o seeing a movie first. I apologize If I offended anyone with what I posted.

hi, I won't attempt to answer these questions, but they are good ones,so I will be watching this post for more replies. I feel the same way as you do about animals. I hit a deer once and was devastated, I cried off and on for two days. I hurt it's back leg and felt that he would be o.k. and called the police. In our area we have a wildlife sancuary and I thought he would be able to be helped. The police betrayed me and told me the animal would not be harmed so they could get my location. The officer that showed up said he was going to shoot it. Not only had I hit and harmed this deer but I had betrayed it into the hands of death. He had every intention of shooting this deer before he even arrived. I know this sounds terribly immature but what can I say I love animals. This is how I dealt with it and every loss since. I asked the Lord to accept this deer into heaven. I have a virtual stable up there waiting for me I trust in the Lord's answered prayers!

I just wanted to clarify that I had started this forum with the name JusfaJesus, then I had to erase all files on my computer and was not able to get back in here with my previous name. I would like to let you know that I really enjoy this site! I would like to share a story.... In my youth I had a talent for writing and poetry. When I was 16 I had a Nightmare/attack, In the dream my family appeared one by one to me in a fog, in the pitch black, each one in the form of a tombstone, telling me to come with them as I cried and begged them not to go. I was left in this blackness alone and when I awoke, I was so petrified with fear I could not even stretch my hand out to turn on the light. I called to my aunt in the next room who turned on the light for me. When I sat up I was so sick, so sick in fact to this day I believe that if I had agreed to go with my family, I would have died in my sleep. Here is the result, I was not able to write anymore, up until a few weeks ago I had a hard time with just a simple thank you note, nevermind poetry. I have been praying for this gift to return. this site has really seen more writing from me than I have had in years! I am not saying it is any gifted writing or anything, but it's writing nonetheless! yippeeeeee! thanks everyone for each and every post you make or have made ,even the atheists without them we would not be able to strengthen ourselves in talking/ debating with them. I will say it does fuel the rightous anger doesn't it?

Prayer / General Discussion / Re:What are you afraid of?
|

Your story reminds me of this particular incident. I was visiting my friend in California. I was drawn for no reason to this cup on the table, when I looked inside, there was a butterfly on it's last breath. I took it out of the cup and waited for it to dry off. As The butterfly sat on my finger it got stronger and stronger increasing the grip. Well all of a sudden I was so fear filled that I had to get it off my finger, I shook it off my hand. I have a love for animals and nature that is unusual, and I know I was praying for the butterfly. I remember thinking, that was the enemy It felt like he just blew fear through me.
