61  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Christian Exodus on: June 16, 2004, 10:11:17 PM
Here is a site that I found.

ChristianExodus.org

Very interesting.  This could go in all different directions, yet what an ideal scenerio.  What possiblilities are there to a new movement?  Who speaks up anyway?  What strength to organize and intentionally succeed for the cause of a backward force to turn around America.

It could be classified as many things, or possibly be many things.  But, without a voice of Americans reaching representatives by the time they find out issues to be voted on, that are already voted on, then what's the difference if this is attempted.  It's like should this really catch on fire and be duplicated in several states?

Such a step out in a country that suspects many things, acts upon some things too quickly, etc., you get the picture.

I for one have all these thoughts and many more because I'm just in the beginning of discovering the information.

To leave the whole and not spread the gospel, or be of a certain cause for the whole of the people to be able to legally spread the gospel.  One who is called to do something should do something.

Many many open ended questions.

Thanks for the scripture, MalekyEl!  I have to get going to work and didn't really have the time to get it out, that's why I wrote to all of the above scripture given.  I appreciate that because scripture is our foundation and God works through it!

Got to go, lost an hour with earhtly gain, but gained an hour in christian fellowship in the Lord!

This is proof of our world today.
Of course, there has been quite a bit of conditioning since the big " to each their own" attitude.

But let's really think about truth.

Is there a gray area with God?

Do you believe in God?

Is not Satan real?

If you cannot see satan, does that mean he's not as real as God?

Some people choose to believe certain ways for certain reasons.  Here we go....Well, you know, we do need to draw a line somewhere... this is the gray area.

God is 100% or not.  The Word of God is 100%.  Those who do not have the fear of God enough-beware!  When God says not to have anything to do with witchcraft, the appearance of evil, that satan has the rule over this earth, then does that mean:

kinda of touch it
kind of check it out and discern just because it has a little evil
!!!! WITHCHCRAFT BEING THE WHOLE THEME !!!!
that it's okay to read or do
kind of watch it ?

Does God say kind of believe on the Lord, Jesus Christ and you will be save"?

When God says there is an evil being here on earth, such as Satan, he means it.

We are not living in the invisible spiritual world, we do not have the strength to "ward" off Satan, and we must leave this all up to God.  He will take care of that, we are just to obey his commandments such as these, just as the Old Testament saints were to obey on cleanliness-so we are not harmed also.

God did intend for us to live by his Word, even in these most
"knowlegeable" days.

Satan loves it when we don't take him seriously.  I bet he loves it when people think of him as a cartoon instead of real.  I really feel sorry for the younger who are sooo unaware of the basic facts in God's plan for man.  I think the idea that living for God is a bunch of no no's and ridiculous in many liberal people today, referring to the unsaved.  It is a very serious thing when we read and do not adhere.

All scripture afore mentioned in this thread  is so pertaining to everything I just mentioned.

Please, brethern, don't take these things on earth so lightly.  It's not good for your soul salvation.  You might be saved, but you are not at the end yet and your walk in life in the Lord nowadays is difficult enough to stay focused.  We do have sin within, and we are not perfect.

We do not have the power to overcome Satan.  Only God can do this.

God tells us to be somber, and this is one of the times I will be somber, I know how these things can affect people sometimes in different ways.

65  Prayer / General Discussion / Re:the Eucharist, must be part of your church service on: June 13, 2004, 11:29:04 PM
I cannot do, only obey.
In what I obey must be the works of Chrsit through me for they are the only ones that will stand at the judgment seat of Christ.  My works are as filthy rags.
( 1Cor.3:11-15)
Ephesians 2:8,9...By that favor, indeed, you have been saved, through the fiath;  and this is not from you;  it is God's gift;  9.  not from works, so that no one may boast...vs. 13 are made near by the blood of the anointed one.
Romans 8:5...For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh:  but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
Romans 4:5  But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness

I can only use the Word of God as my guide.  Scares me not to by this example:   Rev.22:18b  If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plaques that are written in this book;
I cannot find anywhere to make sacriments to the Lord in the Word of God, I've read it many times.
The only place I find to do anything with a thing on this earth is taking bread and this is for remembrance of the Lord's body that was sacrificed to finish all works.
And to drink the wine to represent the Lord's blood shed for forgiveness of sins to all those who believe
Sacriments?  I don't know, this scares me.
Romans 8:8...So, then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Ephesians 3:15...Having by his flesh annulled the law of the commandments concerning ordinances, that he might form the two in himself into one new man---making peace
I don't want to touch anything or do anything that takes the place of Jesus representing himself perfectly, unless of course He tells me so in His word.
I can tell you really love the Lord and love to meditate upon Him.  I think that is so deep and moving.  But even the Lord didn't say you must,  I believe He said in remembrance of me, yet is was specific typology of His perfect work.  So I think that if from the heart this is so reverantly done, and not as a must or else you are missing something that is commanded, then I think our Lord will cherish your heart.  And I hope you can tell I really admire your heart's thought on the glory of the Lord.   Smiley  iconHis.
66  Theology / Bible Study / Re:What is your favorite book of the Bible and why? on: June 11, 2004, 05:08:32 AM
One evening I was reading Ephesians and discovered the whole function, plan, and synopsis of God, His plan, Jesus's
and our place in the whole matter of life.   This is in chapter three of Ephesians beginning in verse 14 through 21.  I will not write it out because I have little time left on here.

If you read slowly, it will show you everything in a nutshell.  I share this whenever the opportunity comes up.  It was such a found jewel.  Thanks for the opportunity to share it.

I think the whole book of Ephesians is wonderful.

67  Prayer / Answered Prayer / All in a day! on: June 11, 2004, 04:35:38 AM

I know....I forget....I pray....I trust....I see....He knows....He doesn't forget...He hears me....He promises....He shows me...

I just didn't know what was going to happen.  Bills, the unknown besetters, and choices.  I have it all in my life, and a turn it is to who knows what.  Just spent many hours on a company that just doesn't fulfill their main need of working together.  Plus worked a full time job, but cut hours for this just mentioned newly endeavored company.  Plus invested in sign equipment.  Needless to say it all came to a head financially because I skipped a lot of hours in my regular full time job.  I just waited, prayed, really didn't see any relief, but took the steps that were given me to take, and all is working out.  All is taken care of with only one spec of money needed, but that will work out too.  But the amazing thing is that all the answers were provided in one day!  Now that's a miracle.  God sure saved my neck.  I guess I am stepping out in faith, as I usually do, but this was a good one!  Got to love Him!

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."   Proverbs 3:5,6

And Paul shares with us:

That by Revelation he made known to me the secret, as I wrote briefly before,

by reading which, you can perceive my intelligence in the secret of the anointed one,

which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the spirit:

that the gentiles are fellow-heirs, and a joint-body; and co-partners of the promise in Christ Jesus, through the glad tidings.

70  Welcome / About You! / Hello, can you hear me now? on: June 08, 2004, 08:09:43 PM

Living in the world of evidence all around of our Lord's return, I think and believe.  Can't wait, but life goes on and I am straddeling the horse of beat that bill and finally beginning what I like to do for money and challenges-self-employed  Mother with one exhausting and exciting teenage daughter left at home, don't feel like I've lived that long, thank you Jesus.  But we live one day at a time, and usually every hour is different in this world anymore.

So, I am glad to be here and have a little fellowship, discuss or debate over scripture to learn more from others the Lord has reared, and just have a little fun on top of it all.
