So how does "what would Jesus do" differ from "what would Jesus have us do"?  Jesus would do and He would have us try.

Spot on Michael.

You know life is very difficult sometimes, parents fight and split up and fight over their son or daughter for custody and all that's required is a peacemaker. Sometimes people should remember why they had their child in the first place- because they where in love. Life should be stereo Wink

Missed you.

Taketh these false eyes and you will see no lies.
See with ones heart and we will never be apart.
Amen

Sorry again. I posted quite a lot, can I just say sorry to cover all of them?
6  Theology / General Theology / Re:Sorry on: April 18, 2004, 05:11:18 PM
Dear Willowbirch

I felt that which you felt 18 months ago, I wrote a poem and
looked at it, it was me. I wanted to save the world. I knew some of the Christian teachings but not enough. I was on my knees in shock that I had a God, but I had the two important words wrong in the poem. I didn't know that until today. When this moment with God happened, I saw a terrifying image on my television and it all end up in me believing I was the second coming. Obviously sectioned for seven days. I did repent to God all my sins. I saw lots of things, some I will not mention here. There was lots of people in the mental hospital and I was not alone thinking I was Jesus Christ.
Foolish I know, but a wonderful experience to feel like Jesus, just for one day. I was so sorry for what I did. I did repent for this too, for thinking I could be Jesus. Terrible I know, tricked by a distorter of truth, but God knew this would happen.

In the last eighteen months I have studied much on religion and I can say I am a very deep thinker, intelligent person but without wisdom that is very dangerous, just look at our world leaders. But I do not worry about this anymore, it is out of all our hands, because it is written.

Today I was reborn, my eyes opened for the first time and all
around me were signs to frighten me. It didn't of course, I am strong. I did not take this bate from the one with the fixed fate.

Jesus died for all our sins, I know this now and this evil serpent will never turn me from Jesus Christ. He can do me no harm, because I am not his and never will, ever.

Just a personal message to satan, isis, Lucifer whatever your
name is, sorry me old mucker good try. The thunder in my ears tells me you are nothing to fear.  You can expect some more poetry from me, because your nothing but a flea to me.

Yes I is very happy today, thankyou Bronzesnake that was a handy message you left for me, the luck bit helped thanks very much.

Willowbirch hold in there, it will be worth it in the end, this is a difficult moment in your life and this thing will wish to take many of us with him/her, its the bargining tool, but there is a saying which I believe in; trust and trust to you can not trust no more. You know what that end bit means don't you?

Find Jesus Christ, you are almost there. I believed in what you did yesterday, but not anymore. Unless you can accept Jesus, you can not have your sins cleansed from your soul.

Its what he died for, you and everybody that's been. What a wonderful God we have, I have seen. Tender and Kind that is his mind, loving and giving we are all in his mind. Just give up you pride and our God promises you will never be tired. For all of his love is made in heaven, is that not enough?

P.s nice one Kris777 you are much in my way of thinking.

7  Theology / General Theology / Sorry on: April 18, 2004, 07:38:15 AM
Today is a new start for me. I douted the Lord and I now know it was a stupid thing to do.

Jesus Christ is Lord and I love him. I will serve no other God but him.

It is written and I now know the meaning of that word. I will never doubt my Lord again and will read the bible word for word. I am so sorry my Lord for doubting you.

Thankyou Lord for your guidance and trust in me.

For all that have read what I have put, please forgive me for being so misguided, I have been a fool.

I will always love Jesus Christ forever.
Amen.
8  Theology / General Theology / Should I be a God fearing person? on: April 17, 2004, 06:06:19 AM
I can not say I am, because I love God , therefor I do not fear him, For god is Truth and I do not fear that word.

I thought I might find some solice in these forums it is the first time I have ever used any kind of forum, I think this will be my last. My last word would be to you Christians this journey to our true source and being is going to be very difficult and you will be tempted by many people to follow a path which leads to a dead end of darkness. My views are not your views and my ways are not you ways maybe, but I know the path you wish to tread, God bless you all, for if I am wrong I know my destiny.
9  Theology / General Theology / Re:Newbie Christian's thoughts/questions on Salvation on: April 17, 2004, 05:55:11 AM
I think Judgenot you have not read what I wrote correctly. I have doubt in the name Christ, not in Jesus the saviour. I also like you know that evolution is impossible without a creator, there is no doubt in my mind whatsoever. You found God in a book, I didn't, I found the lord from a word and he speaks to me in many ways. The word Truth does have a meaning it is God, doesn't it say in the bible about God being the truth, the light and the way. I truly understand this meaning. I have never seen my God and therefore I can not claim to know his name, I can only know him by the word truth, for if I was to say his name was Christ, I would be telling a lie wouldn,t I? I would be guessing his name unless of course I can accept that when the bible was formed man did not make this name up or mess with the teachings.

If I were to know my God by a name it would be Truth for I can not say it is any other. Gods name now has meaning to me. If I were to say my Lords name is not truth it is Christ, what would I be saying? All names have a meaning and there is nothing greater in the word truth is there?

It is a difficult question you ask. However I don't quite believe
everything I read, no one should because how would you know
what is true? I hope that is not offensive to anyone. Some people would say you either believe or not.

I think it says some where in the bible, Believe in God not in the words of man. I would disagree on this point. I would say believe only in the truth, not in the words of man.

I can see much better that way and I know what that word means to me. It is;

The answer to all questions that can be known,
The knowledge of all secrets which can be sought and
without truth nothing can exist. There can be nothing greater.

When I read this I know this is God. For I can say I can believe in God before I read any book, for that way I will always believe in my lord first and the book will come second. It is in my mind and heart that knows this to be true. I can not say what you should believe in, I would never tell you what you should think, it is your test, take it or not, that is the choice God gave you.

I do not look for salvation only the truth, if I have earned such a thing it will be given. Love of the truth is my goal and I
have some way to go yet after telling so many lies in my past.

It's been written Jesus said many fine words of wisdom which I can see to be truth, but from my understanding he was the messenger of God and sacrificed himself for the saviour of mankind. If you can not love someone for such a thing you are blind and lost in this world of deception.

The problem I have is I wish to believe in Christ, like all christians but I did not witness the events and it goes against
my belief in what I have said above, so I can not until I can be sure, more studying I thinks. So you see we all have our own crosses to bare in one way and another, you are not alone.

Why? On what theory do you base that?
12  Theology / General Theology / Was it right? on: April 16, 2004, 06:01:27 PM
Should true christians have watched the passion of Christ?
13  Theology / General Theology / Re:What was the meaning of the tree of knowledge? on: April 16, 2004, 05:17:58 PM
I think it may be a reference to genetic engineering, because when I mention technology, I mean God would be able to see the danger in the future. If Adam & Eve could eat from the tree of life but not the tree of knowledge, I interpret it like, if you learn technology which can corrupt the laws of nature you will have poisened all existence by messing with genetics.
Jesus makes this plain to everybody in the last supper by reminding you of that point.

Could be wrong, but good and evil is like Gods food good, Man's food Evil. Either way it is a corruption of Gods law.

No?
14  Theology / General Theology / What was the meaning of the tree of knowledge? on: April 16, 2004, 02:56:50 PM
Does knowledge represent technology?
15  Theology / General Theology / Re:Hell on: April 16, 2004, 04:02:47 AM
Where is hell?
[Hell is not an actual place, it is an experience. Gods word is
love, it is the meaning to existence, without anything to love
there would be no point to existence. You must imagine a place where there is nothing, but you still exist, there is no
light, just darkness. I confess that I do not know the bible
that well, but isn't there a passage regarding the valley of death? God does not put you there, his word is love don't forget, you put yourself there because you do not tread the path of truth and you get lost in the darkness, by taking shortcuts.

To many, existence is just pondering the unknown in the great pond of life, just like a goldfish must do, they know nothing of their true world, how could they fish (pardon the pun) for the truth of their world just pondering what they do
not know? You must search deep within yourself otherwise you will never truly know God. In you is truth and that is God. You will never know the true meaning by the word I am in the bible otherwise, or even the meaning to the last supper.

The bible represents the earth, you must read more than the
surface of the book, you must read the earth to understand the book. It hold all the answers to your life and beyond.
