1  Prayer / General Discussion / Re:animals having souls? on: August 26, 2004, 11:56:20 PM
Don't have a good answer....  But, surely, animals will make heaven beautiful.  No pain, no tears, and peace....

Hmmmm...., How about having a lion, tiger or lepard as a pet?  Since they will not hurt us then.....

We have authority over them, right?!?

Please don't get too serious with me.....  I am just letting my imagination expand.....

2  Prayer / General Discussion / Re:soon it will be sept on: August 26, 2004, 11:51:08 PM
Yes, and soon this year will be over.

I have been thinking about what God has done in my life in the first 3 quarters in my life, this year.

God is good.  All the time!

He is, He is, He really is!!!

Yes, Brother Love!  How true!  We often keep concerns in our head instead of praying.  Thanks for the reminder!

Willow, that sounds like a lot of fun.  I ended up doing lots of exercises, watched a bit of fireworks and just had a quite but enjoyable time with friends and hear their latest and greatest personal stories.
6  Prayer / General Discussion / Re:Thought For Today on: July 06, 2004, 11:55:07 AM
I have found that often when I pray, I pray that God will give me a solution, but God desires that I grow through the process to be more like Him.

Hey ladies, a friendly reminder  - Turn your worries into prayer to God and let God take care of things.  It is July 4th weekend.

Enjoy the weekend!  The weekend is special.  Celebrate and be present.  There won't be another July 4th, 2004.

Be happy, ladies!

Oh, that sounds great!  My best worship partner is out of the country.  I miss her.....

But, I will be meeting some new friends this weekend.  I heard that some of them are great worshippers.  I am really looking forward to meeting them.

Eagles are not restrained in any way.  They are like the lions in the sky.  They are strong and focused.  They can easily spot the snakes and pick them up easily and kill them.  When we are renewed, we are strengthened like the eagles.

Hi Everyone,

A couple of weeks ago, I saw this inspiring and very different Christian flash movie and signed up to receive words of encouragement at the end.
You can see the flash movie at http://www.hyccoaching.com/Flash/movie.htm

Two days ago, I got this very encouraging message from it.

Just want to share with you.

God bless!

“Remember, today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.” - Dale Carnegie

Cool quote, isn't it?

Just think of the last time you worried about where you’d be today and what you’d be doing and who you’d be with, etc..

How is your today?

How much of what you worried before really happened today?

Every problem is a wisdom problem. If you are facing a difficult situation that is tempting you to worry, learn from your own answers to the questions above. Ask God to give you wise solution to your problem. Do what you can do and give the rest to Jesus. Let go. He intercedes for you. Trust Him. God will make a way when there is no way.

If this sharing is what you need to hear, I would love to hear from you and pray for you in the next two mornings when I go running. (Remaining Message cut)
