Iguanas? I love iguana! Especially with a really meaty marinara sauce – delicious! It’s funny how when you suck it in real fast the tail slaps you on the face and leaves a tomato sauce mark… Ohhh – wait – maybe I’m thinking of linguini. Never mind.

Does everyone understand what “hate crime” legislation actually is? Does everyone realize that it is the attempted empowerment of thought control? Does everyone here realize who will be responsible for reading your thoughts and determining if you are within lawful mental-thought guidelines? Do you all understand who will be in control of what is considered ‘hate’ and what is not?
This is all part of the ‘PC Movement’. The “politically correct” movement is a tool to squash free speech, and it is working quite well.
I equate hate crimes legislation with book burning; it’s the first step to holocaust. This time Christians will be joining the Jews in the chambers.

That's the face of a woman in need of serious prayer. It's like she sees the absolute woes of hell awaiting her and believes her son is already there suffering without her - and, of course; it's Bush's fault. I've been praying for her eternal life occasionally over the last couple of months - I should intensify that. Only God can help her. She's closed her ears to any Truths spoken by mortals.

So if the government wants to get rid of Christians, and the folks south of the border want to come up here weather they are allowed or not, I have a solution! We can move south of the border, have our own little Christian country in the warm weather and they can take our places up here! I'm sure any one who dreads to see winter come will agree with me quickly! Hey! You know you're right! Patriotism is an ideal. Does it matter where it's practiced? But...But...But... can I come back to the purple mountains' majesty during the summer?? I guess those amber waves of grain in the fall would be missed, also... Let me think about this a minute.... Okay - minutes up... I say we build a wall and protect what we have. I know a few good engineers. Hey - we could enclose a natural gas pipeline in the foundation and make the oil companies pay for it! The Oil companies would even pay for security to protect their investment. Who says old fashioned capitolism won't work? Oh - yea - liberals...

Well, DW - I'm the 23rd reader of this poem. If I was witty I'd tie it into the 23rd Psalms - but what I was really thinking is that you have made 23 people cry at least once. Proud of yourself, buster?

That's actually kind of interesting. Who would be "Harry Potter-like" from our Christian heritage? Who would a “Christian Harry Potter” be modeled after? Daniel? Certainly the disciples’ regularly performed miracles. I read somewhere (puulleeeese don’t make me go back and verify this…) that in the Koran as well as in some early Christian writings that were not included in the Bible, there is a story of Jesus as a boy modeling doves from clay, and when He clapped His hands the doves came to life and flew away. How would that be for “Harry Potter-like”?

Tomorrow, September 18th, is the hundredth anniversary of Christian author George MacDonald's death.
WB you must be Scot (like MacDonald) or Irish. They seem to know that it’s not the day of birth that should be celebrated; rather the happy day is the one when we meet the Maker and rest for eternity in His hands. "I firmly believe people have hitherto been a great deal too much taken up about doctrine and far too little about practice. The word doctrine, as used in the Bible, means teaching of duty, not theory. I preached a sermon about this. We are far too anxious to be definite and to have finished, well-polished, sharp-edged systems — forgetting that the more perfect a theory about the infinite, the surer it is to be wrong, the more impossible it is to be right." George MacDonaldWhoa - that's some heavy thinking... Willowbirch - thanks for the reminder of an exceptionally gifted individual and his legacy. JudgeNot

From the reigning queen of sarcasm: Wow Judge are you always this correct?
You see? How can anyone compete with that? I've learned a lot from you, Reba. Your mentorship has been instrumental. Uhhummmm.... Back on subject... DW - I understand what your point is. You know, if government insists on completely removing Christianity from it's ranks, then that also means removal Christian employees and their traditions. That's okay - they can refill the ranks with illegal immigrants.

Hi Abbotsham, Welcome to ChristiansUnite, where the Blood of God has set us free from the death-grip of sin.
Tell us more about JW beliefs:
Is Jesus Christ God? Who are the 144,000 in Revelation? What works are required for one to measure up?

Number of kids: One rebellious nearly-nineteen-year-old daughter Favorite colors: Wheat-sprout green, cloud-liner silver, deep sky blue, first-breath screaming baby purple – now there’s a special color! Favorite foods/snacks: Chicken fried steak, biscuits and cream gravy followed by cherry pie and a tall ice-cold glass of milk. Peanut butter and apricot-pineapple preserves on fresh, soft Wonder Bread with a side of Fritos. Chili dog smothered in sweet onion. Jumbo green olives stuffed with jalapeños. Alaska King Crab. Favorite Verses: Malachi 4:1-3, Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, Romans 8:38-39 Ministry you are involved in: Telling it like it is. Man from Bible you most relate to/why: The Centurion (Matthew 8 and Luke 7). No fluff with this guy. He’s all business. He recognizes Jesus’ power, feels greatly unworthy, and has complete faith in Him. “Nuts & Bolts” “just do it” faith; I like that. I can do that. Fluff is tough. It confounds me. Praise God for... His sacrifice; brave American soldiers; the charity that is molded into mankind in His image; all you folks; my wife (she’s mean – but she’s mine and she loves me); liberals – they’re so cute when they’re angry… (Sorry this took me so long to post – when I was doing the food/snacks part I had to take 17 food breaks… go figure!)

Lucifer loves Michael Newdow, and Lucifer may have eternity to dance with his pawn unless Newdow and Satan's other chess-pieces recognize TRUTH and confess Jesus.
As we pray for immunity from Newdow's actions, we should/would/will/shall/must pray for Newdow's eternal life.
Saul/Paul. Newdow/Newday? Hey - it could happen. It's happened before. Wouldn't that be cool! Pray.
(If Newdow were to be saved, the mainstream media would drop him quicker'n a squirrel crossin' the interstate.)
