I am confused is he to be the antichrist if so how would anyone from this country ever be able to trust him enough to even attempt to follow and believe him. Or would you call him a false prophet?

Angry OK everyone has taken the relevancy of the above statement out of whack the statement and many that I have posted come from a site (verse-by-verse. Com). I am a firm believer in the second coming the revelation of Christ the post was to simply state that the word this book is a lie hidden within the truth. The person in which wrote this book in my eye's are not only trying to discredited the lord; king of king's but to bring his own "Bible" to life the word rapture is not found in the Bible however it is a good name for it. The word rapture means;Pronunciation: 'rap-ch&r
Function: noun
Etymology: Latin raptus
Date: 1629
1 a : a state or experience of being carried away by overwhelming emotion b : a mystical experience in which the spirit is exalted to a knowledge of divine things
2 : an expression or manifestation of ecstasy or passion
I was not trying to send doubt about the revelations but to send a message about what is out there to fool the believer, I am sorry and next time I will GO INTO FURTHER DETAIL, as to weather my post's are question's, opinions, and/or truth.
8  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Some Muslims Believe Their Messiah Has Come on: December 25, 2003, 01:23:23 AM
???There is a growing number of Muslims who believe that the prophisied Messiah has arrived and they are ready to follow him. US military intelligence experts are studying a video clip of Osama Bin Laden in which he stands before a banner with the Arabic phrase written, "The Awated Enlightened One", which the Hadith, a collection of Islamic holy writings, describes as a messianic figure who arises in the last days of history.

According to military sources, some of the Muslim detainees currently held at Guantanamo Bay have told interrigatiors that they joined Osama Bin Laden's Al Qaeda offensive because they think he is the Madi, the messiah.

Terrorists crossing the border into Iraq with Al Qaeda ties are doing so because of their belief in this Islamic prophecy.

Christmas Day Has Prophetic Significance

Tongue- A church council that met in the year 325 AD decided that the date, December 25, would be the designated date for the celebration of the birth of the Son of God, the Messiah Jesus Christ. This date conformed to the date marking the desecration of the Temple in Jerusalem by Antiochus Epiphanes in 168 BC on Kislev 25 - Kislev is the Jewish month of December. Interestingly, Kislev 25, December 25, 3 years to the date after the Temple was desecrated, is the day that the Temple was reconsecrated by the Maccabees, on Kislev 25, 165 BC.

Finding a flask of oil that was good for lighting the Menorah for only one day, it stayed lighted 8 days. Thus began the Jewish holy day of Hanukkah, also known as the Feast of Dedication or the Feast of Lights.

Jesus Christ celebrated Hanukkah in John 10:22. As the Light of the World, John 8:9-11, the church council chose December 25, the time for the Feast of Lights as Christmas Day, to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
10  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Re:Why are there so many date setters for the end times? on: December 25, 2003, 01:10:55 AM
Roll Eyes  believe that the one's that set date's are not really trying to tell the time of his holiness's coming, They are what I call simple sinner's; they know that God is real and they know he is coming back but yet they cannot pull them selves from the great grip of temptation. Therefor telling them self's a date in which Jesus is coming back is like telling them selves that they have so much time to repent of there wrong doing's to insure there entrance in heaven.

Reading from my contemporary English version of the bible in Genesis 1:21 So God made the giant sea monsters and all the living creature's that swim in the ocean........ Now can anyone tell me what most scientist believe all dinosaurs came from?........The sea duh.... So I guess you could say that the sea monster was the first dinosaur that God made, Or like many have said already Satan is the master of desaption, and can make man see and think thing's that aren't real.

Anti-Christ

As we approach the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, let us not forget that the Anti-Christ comes first. Remember the words of the apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians, chapter 2 verse 3: “Let no man deceive you by any means; for that day shall not come except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed the son of perdition. Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. While no one can argue that society as a whole has experienced a great “apostasy”, or “falling away” from faith in God, we must remain ready to meet the supernatural and occupy our turf as believers in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, son of the living God. We can expect that this same leader who “Acknowledges” and “increases with glory” this alien deity will also seek to assist Satan in establishing his place in the temple of God, what many here on earth consider to be Jerusalem. Remember that the apostle Paul warned us that Satan would come “transformed”, translated from the Greek word “Metamorphoo” which means disguised. Satan shall come disguised as an Angel, or Messenger of light or enlightenment. He would never be so foolish as to declare himself against Christ. As a matter of fact he will say that he has seen God and can help us attain utopia because he is well versed in the ways of God. He will say that for us, he is the next best thing to God. That is the meaning of “Anti-“ in the Greek, instead of, in the place of, Christ. Not against Christ, but instead of, the next best thing too, in the place of Christ.

Let the people of the Almighty God be prepared mentally to be in the presence of the supernatural, as we remain ready for our Bridegroom. Let us not be foolish virgins using the oil of our lamps for the wrong time; let us reserver our oil for our true Bridegroom!

13  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Is the United States of America in prophecy? on: December 23, 2003, 01:21:00 AM

A better question to ask is how could God have left us out? We know that the Gulf War of 1991 was in the bible in Isaiah 13 & 14 and Jeremiah 50 & 51. The United States played a prominent role in that war. And now in 2003, we are leading the way in the follow-up to that war. So we go back to the question, how could the United States be left out of the Bible? The answer is that they were not left out. In 2 Samuel 8 14:18 the scripture speaks about the garrisons of guards that King David established to guard his throne and his kingdom. King David was king over Israel. In verse 18 of 2 Samuel chapters 8, the word cherethites was used to describe one of the garrisons. The cherethites had the prestigious job of guarding the “throne”; they were the bodyguards to the throne. The prophet Zephaniah issues a “woe” to the “Nation” of cherethites, the inhabitants of the seacoast in the last days. Clearly the Nation of bodyguards to the government of Israel is none other than the United States of America. By description alone, we cannot deny that this prophecy is related to the United States and that God has issued a “woe” against our nation.

But civil disobedience is not for God’s people. Christ says that they that live by the sword shall die by the sword. In other words, violence begets violence. As God’s children, we should encourage peace in all aspects of our lives. Although we live in this world we are not to be “of” this world. We must remember the commandment to “be ye separate”. We must separate ourselves from the political, economic, educational, social and military cares of this world. How is this done? How can we live “in” this world and not be concerned with what goes on around us? The answer is that we are to take our cares and burdens to God in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, in prayer. We must have faith in the power of prayer. Even if we do not agree, we must pray for our nation, our President, his cabinet, the men and women of the civil service, the men and women of the military. We must pray that God would lead them and guide them that he would lead them away from temptation and deliver them from evil. We must pray that the Lord God will dwell with them and give them strength to walk before him in righteousness so that they may do his will on earth. We must remember the words of the Lord, to judge not, lest ye be judged. If all the leaders of the nations were together in one room, who among them would be worthy to cast the first stone? All of the nations have sinned against God. We should not provoke each other to anger. This is the root cause of the Israeli and Palestinian conflict. The Children of God must all remember the words of God in Leviticus, that the stranger who lives among us is to be treated as one of us. Let us put aside our petty differences and racial hatred and come into full compliance with the word of God. Many of the men and women who are doing their best to make the best decisions on behalf of our country are just like you and I. Mere mortals. We make mistakes. Let us find our path in God. Pray for our leaders and our nations and world as a whole. Let us return to God with repentance and thanksgiving. Let us pray.
14  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / What race is "Gods chosen people?" on: December 23, 2003, 01:15:38 AM
Humans spend so much time arguing over who is “chosen” or who is descended from whom. But the Bible is very clear on two things; Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God (1 Cor 15:50) and that God is spirit and he must be worshipped in spirit. This confirms what we already learned from the Old Testament account of Moses actually looking at God. Because he was flesh, he could only see his back parts. God clearly stated that no “man” could see his face and live. So one must ask, “why” do we insist on arguing and hurting each other with the controversy over ancestry and race? Why do we profess the love of God with our lips but continue to judge and behave based upon ethnicity?

The New Testament book of Revelations ends with clear references to the 12 tribes of Israel and the place that they will hold in eternity. So when one thinks of “tribes” we think of physical traits. But if God is spirit and flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God, then the criteria used to determine who belongs to what tribe must be based upon something other than physical flesh.

When we read the beatitudes, we find that Christ gives the “criteria” of the “types” of people who are considered for roles in God’s Kingdom and eternity.
There is the tribe of the “poor on spirit” theirs is the kingdom of God
There is the tribe of “those that mourn” for they shall be comforted.
The tribe of the “meek” who inherit the earth.
The tribe who “hunger and thirst after righteousness” they shall be filled.
The tribe of the “merciful” who obtain mercy.
The tribe of the “pure in heart” they shall see God.
The tribe of the “peacemakers”: they are called the children of God.
The tribe that are “persecuted for righteousness' sake” for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Now to these eight let us add the four tribes who are filled with faith, hope, love and charity in the name of the Lord God, the Messiah, and the Savior of the World.

God is not a respecter of “persons” but he is a respecter of “spirit”. These are the characteristics that identify the “truly chosen people of God”.

15  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Questions & Answers on: December 23, 2003, 01:02:27 AM
The term "Sons of God"

The term "Sons of God" is translated from the Hebrew word "Nephilum" -- the fallen ones. Some churches use the phrase "Fallen Angels." Their fall is also recorded in the New Testament book of Jude verse 6. Let's examine the terms "Sons of God" and "took."

There should be no question as to the identity of the "Sons of God" because the term is repeated in several other Old Testament passages, including the book of Job chapter 2 verse 2 where Satan and his angels approach the throne of God regarding Job. Keep in mind that Christ had not yet died for the atonement of the sins of the world so mortal man could not have been considered a "Son of God" during Old Testament times. Mankind had not been granted the opportunity to gain eternal life. In numerous instances in the Old Testament where the phrases "Son of God" or "Sons of God" were used, they were in reference to angelic supernatural beings. Is it illogical to expect the Creator to intervene when his creation is under siege by rebel supernatural beings? There is no basis for the religious community to teach that the Sons of God are anyone other than the fallen angels. Angles are referred to as Sons of God in Job 1:6, 2:1, 38:7, Psalms 29:1, 89:6 and Daniel 3:25. If the "sons of God" are angels in these verses then they should be considered angels in Genesis 6.

Webster's definition of abduction is "to take away by force." In the sixth chapter of Genesis, we learn that the "Sons of God" Took all of whom they chose. These angels did not ask or get permission. The scripture emphatically states that they "took" all of whom they chose. That is considered abduction.

Is this the time when we as Christians must be prepared to face these beings again? Will the leaders of organized religion apologize to those who were silenced and deprived of this teaching? At the very least, religious institutions could submit these interpretations to their congregations in the spirit of healthy debate. I often wonder if the religious community has fallen victim to the subtlety of Satan by the very fact that a large percentage of the clergy have made it possible for their flocks to be victims of deceit. In Matthew 24, Christ warned that a period similar to the "days of Noah, before the flood, when they were giving and taking in marriage and knew not until the flood came" would precede his return. This passage has become one of the most often quoted scriptures among Christian fundamentalists. However, they fail to make the connection that the only story in the Bible about the days of Noah before the flood is the story of the "Sons of God" taking the daughters of men!

Noah was saved because he and his family had not interbred with the angels. Genesis tells us that Noah was perfect in his generations. We as Christians know that no human could be considered perfect except Christ. In order to fully grasp what is being said we must understand the meaning of the word used in this context. The Hebrew word " amim" means, "without blemish as in breed or pedigree." None in Noah's bloodline had been affected by the plan of Satan. This passage does not reference interbreeding among humans because the context of the passage centers around the son's of God behavior and the subsequent results of that behavior. The two New Testament passages that are considered parallel accounts of Matthew 24 do not mention the days of Noah. Luke 21 and Mark 13 are similar passages to Matthew 24 but Luke 21 was actually prophesied at a different point in time than Mark 13 and Matthew 24. In Luke 21, Christ responded to the people while he was still in the temple. Matthew 24 and Mark 13 were Christ's response to his disciples to specific questions after he had left the temple. The passages cover similar periods but there are differences. One of the differences is that Mark and Luke give a warning to "those that are with child and give suck." It should be noted that the statement "that these be the days of vengeance" precedes this woe. This is not the vengeance of Satan but the vengeance of God prophesied in chapter nine of the book of Hosea. The problem with this warning is that some people interpret this to be intended toward anyone who is pregnant which could include God's people. This would be a conflict of scripture and in direct conflict of the Old Testament. God specifically commands us to "be fruitful and multiply" in the Old Testament and the Apostle Paul tells us in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 9 that God's wrath is not for us. Therefore, the woe to those with child is not directed to God's people, but rather to those that are with child because of mating with fallen angels. God brought the flood in Noah's time under these exact circumstances. An uncontrollable outbreak of alien abductions and reproductive tinkering.

Some biblical scholars argue that Christ eliminated the possibility of procreation with supernatural beings when he stated "For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven." Rebellion makes a big difference between can not and do not. Those in rebellion will often do the things that ought not to be done. Rebellion is open defiance of established government or authority. According to God's Word, Satan and his angels are in open defiance to God's Government and Authority! So why wouldn't evil angels attempt to mate with humans?

Organized religion chooses to ignore these issues and teach a more easily accepted version. Is it dishonorable to take up the bible's challenge to "Test the scripture"? The validity of Christianity is not based in political correctness. A truly divinely inspired written gospel would be in no danger of failure. So why should the churches be afraid of debate on the issue of Supernatural Alien existence
