The time for our Lord to return is rapidly drawing nearer.  Jesus used the fig tree budding as a parable to watch for his return. Well, the tree is budding..... Matthew 24 is being fulfilled before our eyes.  Have you thought of what you would do on seeing Christ for the first time?  Will you shout and sing praises? fall on your knees? prostrate yourself? Does the idea of walking and talking with our Lord excite you? Are you ready? He said he would return in the twinkling of an eye.  There will be no time to beg forgiveness of any sins in your life. No sin will be allowed in heaven. Have you told a lie? had a thought you should not have had?  You do not need to be a rapist or a child molester to miss out on heaven.  I pray that I will be ready constantly because I am not completely without sin each day.  I pray that you will be ready.

Remember what Christ said about the fig tree?  How will we know when the tree is budding if we do not watch the news? Personally, I watch the news about Israel because I know that is one of the buds on the tree.  It is to me like a child looking for Christmas and counting down the days, I am looking at the news and watching for the coming of my Lord.

Jesus was born without sex and had no sex in his life!!!!!!!!  Just as the high priest tried to lie away his reserection, the world is trying to lie away his sinlessness.  Satan is working to produce confusion and doubt in as many people as he can.  This is aimed at born again, believing, God fearing Christians; he already has the rest in his hands.

Amen!   God will use whatever he chooses to make his plans happen.  I don't worry about whether global warming is true or not.... God used a talking donkey to futher his plans... he can use global warming if he chooses... I just take each day and thank God for it.  Even when it was the hottest this summer, I found myself repeating,   "this is a day God has made, I will rejoice and be glad to have it."

We have a merciful God that has given mankind a second chance to live forever. However, the price was too high for my sins, I didn't deserve it. Praise God, I now belong to him and the value of my soul is priceless as it is the ticket to a mansion in heaven and life forever.

Whether it is true or not... my part of the world sure warmed up this summer. In fact, it has been the warmest year totally I can ever remember.

I know I am about four year late posting on this, but after the summer we just had... you still say global warming is a lie?? Have you looked at how much the ice shelf at both ends of the earth has melted and calved??  What about our unusual warm winter; excessive 100+ temps for weeks; the drought that covered most of the country; fires around the world,etc? What if God is using man made global warming to futher his ends for this world?? Do you think economic distaster around the world; major natural events; etc., could be a good set up for the Ac to come on the scene and get control of the world?  Our bread basket feeds a large part of the world and the crops didn't make it due to the drought this year.

Your article is frightening, but reading the news is too. I have a theory that any sexual molestation of a child should carry the death penalty because once it occurs, the child is dead in many ways. Most live destructive lives as they no longer believe they are a person that is worthy. I have a good friend who was sexually mosested by her father at a young age and it was so horrific to her that she blocked out six years of her childhood.

I taught special education for several years and I saw the damage done by past molestation and current molestation. It is ugly.  Actually, I have a punishment in mind that no Christian should have, but I would like to take everyone of them and place their private parts in a stock (like they used to do with head and arms); screw the stock into the floor of a building; give them a dull butter knife and set the place on fire!

Didymus is correct.  Depression is a chemical imbalance  in the brain, not a mental illiness.  I suffer from clinical  depression so I know how you feel. You cannot feel pleasure in anything or anyone.  there is hope and it is called a doctor.  With medication, you can get a grip again and with God you can fight it off when it comes upon you.  Hang on to your faith, it is your lifeline. You would go to the doctor if you had the flu and felt lousy..... this is like the flu.... go see a doctor, meanwhile, I will pray for you and believe me you can once again feel the peace and contentment that only Christ can give you.
