I would have no problem believing you do not. Because you are contrary in your statements.
You believe only that which you choose.

The Gospel is for all to hear and obey.
The Gospel and the doctrine of it, which is the New testament , is not in any way to be  compromised.Many have  died for that fact .
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

Anyone that does compromise the truth , is a contradition to the truth they proclaim.

So any Group that compromises the truth is not being truthful .
So what Jesus would they be preaching?

Preach and proclaim Christ faithfully.No appolgies for the truth is needed.
Jesus will save and also offend others, so is the gospel offensive?
yes it is to some and to others its good news, Compromise is nothing but sin against the truth and its author. May we all be faithful to the truth and grow in grace and the knowledge of Him.



 

I believe in Christian unity , its a comand of the Lord.

But there is ecumenicalism and I find it to be a unification of faiths
or professed christian churches and also other religions , with contradiction of doctrines.
Its by doctrine that we prove all things , so how can anything be verified if doctrine is set aside through compromise?
  Impossible to set aside doctrine , and still be able to stand for the truth.Many died rather then compromise through out history! Compromise is just that ,"selling away truth". Or what ever it is the persons believe, they are giving it up.Or I would say being unfaithful to the Lord would be more accurate, as a christian!For the expense of unity. No Way! Unity is to be in Doctrine and Spirit, the Spirit is also the "Spirit of Truth" so doctrine should be easily regognized because of the Spirit of truth, which is the Holy Spirit, who leads us into all truth.
May sound simple ,but I see it that way. The Spirit Of God only has one voice , not many. 2 tim 3v16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God ,and is profitable for doctrine,for reproof,for correction,for instruction in righteousness.

I can see a lack of teaching of the scriptures being  a problem, but the word and the Spirit of God are sufficent for unity.
The Lord commands unity , and He does not ask what we cannot do.
I see ecumenicalism as something entirely different, Its not a doctrinal unity , so the Spirit of truth is not in it.Impossible for that to be.So what is it?  I believe its the one world religion for the one world order being set up for the Antichrist.
whats surprising to me is how they are all jumping in now !

Hi In answer to the original question , Yes the text means just what it says , it seems harsh , and it is Gods order in the church .
If we dont follow Gods order in the church, then where is it followed?  1cor 14v33 For God is not the author of confusion,but of peace,AS IN ALL CHURCHES OF THE SAINTS.

verses 34,35, are apart of the order of the churches.
verse 37 tells us these are also commands of the Lord, not just a cultural thing as some would like to argue.
verse 40 says let all things be done decently and in order , (the order that he is giving in this context).

I know of churches that still practise this so its still current.
But surely not popular.

If people think its unfair , they would find other religions even more unfair  for women .

Ive never yet heard a women speak with authority , its not hers biblically , in the New testament church by Gods Order.

Gay s Well they have churches and I came across one on the web
 they are called "community metropolition churches" in Canada , The Gays  are now setting up shop openly , since gays now have equal rights or close to it. Sodom and gormiah  is here !Offically too!
Canada is headed for a confrontation with the Lord !
Im Canadian and there is not much that can be done, prayer and preach !

Things are getting bad in so many ways these days! Wow!

I read about a joke by a popular TV host, He said if God does not judge hollywood blvd , He owes sodom and gormora an appolgy , They even are making jokes ! Wow! We know God is not mocked , That is shocking to hear this!
It should alarm us!



 

I was in Ukraine in 94  , I met some really wonderful people there!!

I understand the situation , this  is a long time coming!

The people really need to get out from under the old regime , they are  communist wearing different hats,  They made the situation even worse for the people after the cold war with  the ussr , Im surprized it has taken this long, but thats the kind of control the people are under!   Really WE need to pray  for them , they really deserve a fair election! Then the people will be free I believe!

I still have some friends there !  Some really great people there!

Wow Ive been away for a while and this site has really grown in numbers ! Good ones and bad ones!  Remember when the net was cast into the sea , and the angels sort out the good from the bad? I guess its just the way it is ,often in this life a mixed bag!

Jesus did the work of God on our behalf! So we can have Salvation as a free gift!!!

So we can follow Jesus , so others can follow us! The way is rejoicing!    Are we following, and rejoicing in our salvation?

Maybe if we all had a glimse of hell , bible study and soul winning would be more effective!

Hey hello I met the love of my life, and Im having trouble get to meet her, as I live in Canada , and she lives in south america.
