What if an unbeliever is donated a vital organ from a Christian and the Rapture comes?  Shocked

I hope you don't mind my 2 cents put in here.....

I think that it goes like this........."as you believe" if you believe your getting raptured, you are getting raptured period. I don't think it matters where you are, what condition you are in what you are doing etc...., it will happen because He said it would and you believe it, you trust it and you hope for it. Your gonna get  snatched and it will be quickly ......because there cannot be any delays in the plan. "In the twinkling"

Rainbows are a wonder aren't they? When I see one I remember the verse below.

Rev 4:3 says a rainbow round about the throne in sight like unto an emerald.

6  Welcome / About You! / Blessing on: December 21, 2008, 07:13:14 PM
What a blessing to find such a great group of people in a God blessed forum.

I have been a very serious Bible reader for some time. I spend most my leisure time reading the Bible, rereading it and rereading it and always find something new. I have no denomination, I just live by faith in Him and live by His word. The scriptures are just what God said they are......they are health to all who find them. He has given me much wisdom and understanding through my studies in His word.

I have had many obstacles and troubles in my life as well as other people and God's word never has failed in my life since the day I decided everything I do or say must go by His word and His way whether I like it or not, whether I agree with it or not, whether I understand it or not, His words are very clear and simple. And His way is very narrow and straight on just like He says ....and sometimes has extremely tight places I barely squeeze through. Some in my family no longer associate with me because I don't do the things I used to do. But I am comforted by His Spirit and pray for myself and them so that I will not be offended and so that they are not offended also.

But I know the truth and choose the way of Christ and no other, even though I suffer because of it and it is very hard sometimes. And with that choice, I have received many blessings because He called me and I answered Yes, Lord.

I give Him my burdens and He takes care of them for me. He said all things are His, so that includes the bills I get in the mail every month, and He always pays them for me because He is ever faithful to His word. I trust He will pay them if they are His.... Smiley

I am a single parent with one child whom I adopted seven years ago, he is now thirteen years old. I work part time so that I can be with my son to teach him the right ways, and to make sure he has supervision, guidance and stabililty while we live in these difficult times. I have no worldly health insurance, my health insurance is from above. God is my healer according to His word and I trust in Him. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever. He will have mercy and compassion on whom He will.

It is difficult to be in the world but not of it and it is a daily issue that must be prayed about and given to Him. Thank God for His Spirit that comforts us. He gives me the victory as long as I live according to His word.

I enjoy reading all of your posts and wish all many many blessings. If I can be of any help to anyone I am there.

7  Fellowship / You name it!! / Word Play on: December 21, 2008, 05:02:52 PM
Idioms, Palindromes, Parables etc..........plays on words. Here's an idiom....

To “have a chip on one's shoulder.”

In nineteenth-century America, a boy who thought he was pretty tough would put a wood chip on his shoulder and dare anyone to knock it off. Today the idiom refers to anyone who is “touchy” or takes offense easily.

Got one to add?

9  Fellowship / You name it!! / Re: Unwanted dreams and how to overcome them on: December 21, 2008, 04:40:57 PM
Since I became In Christ, I never fail to give thanks as I go to sleep and have never had unwanted dreams since I have done this. My dreams now are not as they used to be. My dreams now are not really dreams but seem like conversations going on but I don't know who they are with and I never remember the converstations except the feeling they are peaceful and good. And sometimes I will just see bible scriptures scrolling down very quickly for awhile and then they just stop and I wake up and go back to sleep.....kinda nice actually.

11  Fellowship / You name it!! / Birthday's everywhere on: December 21, 2008, 04:21:03 PM
Thought I would post how other countries celebrate birthdays. Some quite strange.

Birthday Traditions in Different Countries

Africa - Initiation Ceremonies. In various African nations they hold initiation ceremonies for groups of children instead of birthdays. When children reach a certain designated age, they learn the laws, beliefs, customs, songs and dances of their tribes.

China - Noodles for Lunch. The birthday child pays respect to his/her parents and receives a gift of money. Friends and relatives are invited to lunch and noodles are served to wish the birthday child a long life.

Denmark - Flying Flags. A flag is flown outside a window to designate that someone who lives in that house is having a birthday. Presents are placed around the child's bed while they are sleeping so they will see them immediately upon awakening.

England - Fortune telling cakes. Certain symbolic objects are mixed into the birthday cake as it is being prepared. The object that you find in your piece predicts your future. For example, if your piece of cake has a coin in it you will be rich. If your piece of cake has a poisonous spider in it, however, it is a sign that you probably won't live long..

Holland - Crown Years. Even birthday years are called "crown" years. The birthday child receives an especially large gift on a crown year birthday. The family also decorates the birthday child's chair at the dining room table with seasonal flowers.

Hindu - Children only celebrate their birthdays until they are 16 years old. Their birthday is a very religious celebration. They take flowers to the temple and the child receives a blessing from a priest.

Ireland - Birthday Bumps. The birthday child is lifted upside down and "bumped" on the floor for good luck. The number of bumps given is the age of the child plus one for extra good luck. Huh ouch!

Israel - Chair Raising. A small child sits in a chair while grown-ups raise and lower it a number of times corresponding to the child's age, plus one for good luck.

Japan - New Clothes. The birthday child wears entirely new clothes to mark the occasion. Certain birthdays are more important than others and these are celebrated with a visit to the local shrine.

Korea  - One of the most important birthdays is a child's first birthday. The children are dressed in special clothes and are taken in front of a large gathering of friends and family members. There is a big feast and the guests leave money for the new one-year old child. The child's future is told by the items the birthday child picks up.

Mexico -  Children in Mexico have birthday customs that have been around for centuries. Most birthday parties in Mexico include a piñatas. A piñatas is a large paper-mache object that is shaped like something appealing and covered with colorful paper. The piñatas is filled with candy and treats. Piñatas are often shaped like animals or stars. The piñatas is hung by a rope and blindfolded children take turns hitting the piñatas with a stick. When they break the piñatas all the goodies come out. This tradition is over 300 years old..

Philippines - Blinking Lights. The outside of the birthday child's house is adorned with blinking colored lights in the early evening. Earlier in the day the family goes to hear Mass and to thank God.

Russia - Birthday Pies. Instead of a birthday cake, many Russian child receive a birthday pie with a birthday greeting carved into the crust.

14  Theology / Debate / Re: JESUS OR SANTA on: December 21, 2008, 02:46:55 PM
Thank you Pastor Roger.

I am enjoying this forum already ,reading many many posts and testing the spirit of it. I do not go to a physical church because I find too much materialism and lack of faith with many dead people that look alive that appear there for what ever reason. And I know christian fellowship is necessary as states the word of God.
I have previously been on other forums and have left many due to the spirit of them, some of them starting out well and eventually they end up being pulled in different directions, arguing mostly about what they think is right and what their interpretation of scriptures may be etc........I'm sure you know what other forums are like, but this forum is not like the others. Thank you for the welcome.
