Fellowship / You name it!! / Maybe the president is named after a saint

Barach Obama is the president of the United States. I thought that his first name was not that of one of the saints. But I found something at a Catholic web site. The following is one of the ancient saints.
St. Berach Feastday: February 15 6th century
Irish abbot and nephew of St. Freoch. He was raised by his uncle and became a disciple of St. Kevin. Berach, who is sometimes called Barachias or Berachius, founded an abbey at Clusin-Coirpte, in Connaught, Ireland. He is the patron saint of Kilbarry, County Dublin.

Entertainment / Television / Re: The 3 Stooges marathon

I have liked the three Stooges for a long time. But I never could watch them for longer than twenty minutes, which is one episode.
It seems as if they do hurt themselves as they act.
It seemed better to watch them for only twenty minutes.
I once went to a party which had the three Stooges on the TV, but it seemed that I was the only one to watch them. It seemed strange to me.

The moderator is right in moving the Judges 11 question. I don't understand this forum yet. Thanks for the explanation. It makes more sense now.

To study the eleventh chapter of Judges.
To be more specific verses 31 to 40.
Jephthah offered his daughter as a burnt offering to the Lord?
Well anyhow the whole chapter is interesting.

Prayer / Prayer Requests / I've had pain for years
|

I've had pain for years. I think it's the trigeminal area. So that I have something like trigeminal neuralgia. It's in the facial area. It's more like a tickling sensation. I can't get the doctors to heal it or pay attention to me. My prayers aren't answered. I still have it. I would like an answer from a Bible scholar about this. Internally I'm cussing at someone.
