Thank you once again for your welcome Tom! I really appreciate it! My husband said to me today that he had like 5 deals come in this week which meant he had a pretty big paycheck coming. He said for some reason he was kind of depressed though...I told him that it was just God's way of trying to tell you something. Ask him, "What is it I can do for you lord?" That's what I told him to do. God always gives an answer and sometimes he uses instances such as these to teach us something or catch our attention. We just got to listen out for him. God just doesn't take the joy out of something because of nothing. He's saying something. Listen, you'll hear it!

thank you so much for your input. I am finding there aren't many women out there who have a whole lot to say about this. I am young, I am still learning. I just need a good teacher. I didn't come from such a great background. So I really wasn't taught what my role is in the family and society. I hear many different opinions but none rank so high as those in the bible. I wonder how they do it. I mean the ones that stay home and do everything the bible teaches. How do they do it??

In the past, women have been known to be the mothers who took care of the children, cooked, cleaned, ect. And in the bible, that is just what Eve was created for so to say...Adam needed help. He couldn't do it on his own. But things are so different today. It is almost like it is a requirement that both parents work and everything else! So what really is our role today? How do we do it all??? How do we as women do what is in God's will if mankind has made so that it truly is difficult to do in order to survive???

I had the same problem with my husband for a while...it's just so weird though...he came from a christian background..I mean for heaven sake..his father was a minister and mother a missionary! I am taking my time working with him on creating a Christian lifestyle and family for ourselves...so far it is working. No porn for three weeks!

Those things are so vague that they could pertain to just about anyone...follow your heart and stay within Gods path and you will find that he will give you more honest answers to anything you want to know.

What helps me is to ask God every morning, "Lord, what can I do for you today?" I find he gives me answer every time...

Hello! I am new here..just trying to find some fellow Christians to talk to...

Well, I have gone through a whole lot so far in my 24 years of being alive.. I was on the wrong path for a long time. One day I came to something like a mid life crisis except concerning God, Jesus, and myself..I lost it. Finally, I realized what I was doing and changed it for the better. Everyday I wake up and ask God what he wants me to do..So far, I have done some encouragment, quit smoking, etc. But I find that everyday I ask that, I learn something new. It took a lot of broken roads and dead ends to finally figure it out. I needed Jesus in my life. And it's not all about me, it's about God. I was selfish and I let my family down at the time. Now I am just working to create a better life for myself, my family, and working to work for God.
