James 1:14-15 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.(express the intensity with which desire lures an individual) Then, when desire has conceived,(suggests the image of a persons will bending toward and finally seizing the evil)it gives birth to sin,and sin, when full grown(suggests bringing a goal to completion...that sin has reached its maturity)brings forth death.

Truly we are to appreciate those who labour for Christ Jesus. In 2 Corinthians 8:1-2 Paul testifies how the churches of Macedonia in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded inthe riches of their liberality.....v4 that we would receive the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints

One of the most powerful scripture of God"s love to mankind is found in Genesis 3:8.And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day ....and in verse 9 it says:Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him,"Where are you?".Adam and Eve had disobeyed God's command not to eat the forbidden fruit.Yet in these verses we see the love and tenderness of God as He walked in the garden; He did not come charging in with fire and brimstone. In love the Lord called out to them,He knew what happened and where they were, but He wanted them to come out and confess.True their act of rebellion had to be dealt with but God wanted to show them and all mankind that He is quick to love and slow in anger.Today you might be in sin and trying to hide from God;yet in love He walks in your garden and calls you by name:'Where are you?'Listen to Him call out to you in love, draw unto Him and He shall draw unto you.Hear the tenderness of His footsteps in the garden.

The book regarding the deceptions of Satan looks like a good read.In my studies towards being a pastor and counselor I realize that this is one area that believers do not know alot about. There is a truth amongst Christians that we have victory in Jesus;however that does not mean that the devil will not come against us.Being raised in a military family I kmow about warfare. The most dangerous time for the victor is during R and R this is when the victor relaxes from the battle, but if he is not careful the enemy will plan a surprise attack when the victor least expects it.The other danger is when the victor becomes over confident believing that nothing can come against him.The devil is out there;yes you have victory but stand guard, wear the armour of God and have the prayer of the saints with you;do not fight the battle alone.
