Hey, we've actually been studying this in our Bible study on Luke. There were a few times he did this. Many times it was because it would have dramatically changed the course of action that was to follow, and potentially the disciples would have interfered in ways they shouldn't have to try and avoid such things. AS well, whe Jesus first reveals himself as the Messiah, he says not to tell because the disciples are not fully informed about the situation. They would not be able to accurately give a description of what he meant to others. Hope that helps

Just a quick question. When we are created, does God already know whether we are going to Heaven or Hell? and if He does, why would He create some of us to go to Hell?
