Theology / Debate / Re: Salvation Contradictions?

Dear Friend in Jesus;
the understanding here lies in the New Testemant Church, and the layout of the Bible.
the four Gospels are the life and ministry of Jesus
the Book of Acts is the growing of the new Church
the Epistles are letters to churches that already have saints
so in the NT the place to look would be in the Book of Acts and see how they preached and how they received salvation.

Theology / Debate / Acts 2:38 Baptism in Jesus Name
|

I have a simple question and that is, in the book of Acts the only mode or formula used for baptism was in the Name of Jesus Christ, my question is why is not this the formula used throughout christianity today?
God Bless in Jesus Name

I am impressed with the background study you have done on the JW's. I would like to find out where this information was obtained. I have several friends that are Jehovah Witnesses and I have discussed at length the scripture to them. although the research you have done here is astonishing. Please let me know how I may obtain a copy of this.
Thank You In Jesus Name

Theology / General Theology / Re: JESUS IS THE WORD

I am new to this forum, but so far I have really enjoyed what I have read. the original posting was "Jesus is the Word" which from the view point of monotheism, Jesus is the Jehovah of the Old Testament incarnate, or born of flesh and dwelt among us. it is not 3 persons in one God but simply different manifestations of the Almighty God.
