Let me say this first I still believe that God put the tree there, but there have been some things brought that also makes sense to me as to why God made not have put the tree in the Garden. With that said let me list a few of things that have said to me.
God tests us through trials. God does not tempt us, test yes, tempt no. I have to agree with this. I think we need to be careful here on this, because this very well could be a sin. Everythng God does makes a full circle, so the tree is not here in the end so it was not meant to be there in the beginning. This comment I say ok maybe this is true, the jury is still out on this one. And the last thing that was brought up was the parable of the tares and the wheat. Ok tares look like wheat but when harvest time comes the farmer knows what is wheat and what is tares. So the fruit on the tree looked good but is what not intended to be eaten. Could it be that Satan was copying God. Everything that is of God is good and Satan tries to decieve us with what looks like God's but if we look hard enough we can see the evil that was intended.
Rememeber I still believe that God put the tree there, I am just trying to sort things out. I need to throw out all that is not the thruth and embrace the truth. Have we been wrong all this time to think that God put the tree there. I know that this doesn't save anyone or will it send someone to hell, but it has brought questions to mind.

I need your prayers for my family. I have a teenage daughter who is pregnant. She is about 10 weeks along right now. I found out the first of Feb. and it was confirmed by the doctor on the 4th. They are wanting to get married as soon as she out of school. I guess I should be happy that the boy wants to marry her, I wasn't at first and still have doubts but she will be 18 soon and I have no control over it. He is 19 and doesn't and has not had a stable job.  I was really mad at first and I have excepted the fact that she is pregnant. I just recently have been able to talk to him without anger to wards him. With that said here is my prayer request.
1. That God's will be done in their lives and in the baby's life.
2. My attitude to wards this boy will shows God's love.
3. For my 15 year old who is following the same path but more openly.
4. That somehow this can be used to turn my husband to God

First all sorry I didn't add the verses to my post. Second of all thank you for your replies. We have all read and assumed that God put the tree in the garden. My teacher was saying that he didn't think that God put the tree there because God doe not tempt man. He said that Satan had put it there and then talked Eve into eating the fruit. This what I am having trouble with. Satan is mocker of God, he tries to deceive people into believing that what they are doing is good and that they are OK, which ultimately distroys the person. God put the tree there because he made man with free will or he gave man free will after Adam sinned.

We had a lesson today and my teacher said that God did not put the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the garden of Eden. I would like to get your views on this matter. We had a man in our class who said the tree was a metaphor. I don't believe it to be a metaphor but I am kind of confused too.

The most famous verse may not actually be about fear itself, but I felt it was worth mentioning. IMHO

If you just read the words you would think that this verse is talking about death. I feel like that this is talk about anything we are going through. When we are going through things that is our valley of death and we should not fear the things we are going through. If we dwell on our problems instead giving them to God we will surely die spiritually. God never promised us that we would not go through trials, but he is faithful to bring us through them.

Isaiah 35:4 Say to them that are of fearful heart, Be strong, feat not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence;  he will come and save you.

Thanks everyone, We are studying on the rapture. My teacher had us take a look at that verse and then he showed us a picture cut out from the paper. It was a picture of green flags being waved in the air after Hamas won the election. Everything he has taught us is coming fast and furious. It is time to start looking for Jesus to come. Fasting and praying for the lost. We all grew up hearing about Jesus coming back. They would say we are living in the last hours. People, we are living in the last minutes if not the last seconds.

The ACLU is part of the problem. Who do you think it is who wants to take God out of the schools. As long as a religion does not believe in the Christian God then it is OK to teach it in the schools, example would be the schools in California(where the ACLU is located) had the students dress and take on a Islamic name. They had to study the islamic religion, what so they could be more sensitive to the islamic people. The same islamics who hate Christians and want all Christians killed. Like it was said before this is a Christian forum for Christians, by Christians and since evolution is not a Christian belief it does not belong here. As I said before I challenge you to take the Bible and your evolution ideas sit them side by side each other and see all the contradictions.  WE have the truth it is called the Holy Bible. If it does not line up with the word of God then there is not need for a Christian to involve themselves in it. God is about truth. Satan comes to cause confusion and destroy the Christian.

Ira, You have to pray for strength in your time of weakness. I know it is hard and it will require discipline on your part, but if you will be faithful to God he will bring you through this. Only you and the Holy Spirit know when you are weak and you need to remove yourself from the situtation and begin to pray. If you are having a hard time know how to pray or what to pray, please allow the Holy Spirit to taking over and use your pray language. You can use your gift of speaking in tongues for yourself. What a wonderful gift God has given you. Please follow up with us so we can rejoice with you once you are delivered from this sin.
