Would you please pray for my sister Debby's father-in-law Ray and his family? He has had cancer for awhile and just had a setback and was taken to the hospital today.  Please also pray for his wife, Carol. She is having a tough time with Ray having cancer and her daughter Molly having uncontrollable seizures and also her own mother, Mary, is not doing well and she is the caregiver and helper for all of these family members. I pray that they all find comfort and salvation in the Father's arms. Please pray for all of them as this is such a hard time for their family. Thank you so much and God bless all of you!

I have just finished reading all these posts about the tongues controversy.I was intially saved thru the ministry of a layman that was affiliated with a pentecostal church.  After I studied what the bible had to say about the operation of the gift of tongues, I came to the conclusion that most churches that practice tongues in their meetings do not follow the scriptural guidlines that  Paul gave in 1Corintians, chapter 14.  Are tongues still a valid gift in the church today?  my answer is I am not sure. But I do know this from personal observation, most, if not all tonhues I have seen practiced in public meetings are not following bibical guidelines.Today I am amember of a baptist church and not a charismatic churh

I have always loved cats. they are so cool My family is owned by a 20 lb Charcoal grey and white nuetered male cat.He looks just like the cartoon cat, Sylvester. Except he is charcoal grey where sylvester was black.He is also light years smarter than how sylvester was portrayed.  We call him our guardcat because he is extremely territorial against everybody who is not in our immediate family. We have to shut him in my bedroom every time we have company. His name is Hannibal.

I have just registered in this forum today, November 6 2005.  I thought I would introducemyself by telling you some things about my self.  I am a 58 year old, vissully  impaired manI also am confined to a whellchair
with left side partially paralysed as the re result of a stroke that the Lord graciously allowed me to survive.  I am owned by a 20 lb nuetered male alleycat who is extremely territorial with people outside of the immediate family.I call him our household guardcat.  During ny recover while I was in a nursing home the Lord gave the oppurtunity to be a mentor to a new christian that I met there, one of the nuses aides that I probably would never have met anyplace else.About the only mininistryies I am abe to take part in is I distribute tracts to pepeople I meet at the local mall when I get a chance to get out and pray for people as I find what their needs are.  Signed Friarbob
